Y&R Recap for June 19, 2023: Sally Blames Adam

The Young and the Restless recap for June 19, 2023:

Today on The Young and the Restless, Sharon and Nick turn to Chance for help, Adam wrestles with a tough decision, and Faith delivers explosive news.





Chance examines Cameron for a pulse and he doesn't have any. Chance says he is dead. Faith begs Chance to remove the explosives from her, but he is reluctant. Nick and Sharon take a step back, and Chance takes a peek and decides that the explosives must be disarmed one at a time. Nick inquires whether Chance is capable and he notes he had some military training and decides to get to work. He wants Faith to remain calm. Chance completes the deactivation of all explosives and removes the belt. Nick and Sharon embrace their daughter. Sharon inquires whether he intends to arrest her for the murder of Cameron. Although Chance witnessed the entire incident, Cameron assaulted her, and she defended herself. They return home as Chance looks after Cameron.







Sally regains consciousness in the hospital. She inquires as to what transpired. Adam nervously tells Sally that she needs to relax. She inquires about their baby's well-being. Adam is depressed and crying and struggles as he informs her that they induced labor and she lost consciousness, forcing them to perform a c-section. Sally can't wait to see the baby but Adam informs her that there was a difficulty during the procedure. Sally struggles to come to terms with what Adam tells her. Sally starts blaming herself and Adam tells her not to. 





She inquires about Nick, but Adam informs her that he is not present. She believes he was so self-centered that he drove Nick away to avoid competition. Adam claims he contacted Nick, left messages, and called their father in an attempt to locate him. Sally insists that something is wrong. Adam claims that his battery may be dead. Sally notes he is still dealing with Cameron.








Elena arrives and expresses her heartfelt compassion to Sally. Sally has heard it so many times that she considers it insufficient. Elena realizes that words aren't always consoling. Sally apologizes. Adam leaves so Elena may speak with her patient alone. After he's gone, she wonders if there's anything Elena can do to preserve her baby. Elena believes her sadness and hormones will cause her to feel out of sorts for weeks or months. She encourages Sally to take all the help she can get. 








Elena notes that it was a dangerous scenario. Because there was no time to contact next of kin, Adam was forced to make a decision. Sally is perplexed when she discovers that Adam had to choose between her and the baby. 








Victoria and Nate embrace in bed in their GCAC suite. He claims he needs fewer after-work sessions since he is overburdened. She informs him that he will soon be weighing in on all things Newman.
That appeals to him. She inquires whether he finds her too distracting, and he responds by kissing her.
They have sex, and then she sips water and thinks about how Nick and Sharon must be insane over Cameron. She hopes Nick doesn't blow up again and make things worse. She is hoping for the best. They embrace, and Nate promises to be there for her. She is already feeling better.








Victor returns to Sharon's residence to console Faith. He rushes outside to contact Nikki, knowing she's frightened. Sharon wants to get Faith something to eat but she declines. They all discuss the incidents. Nick is concerned about Sharon's reaction to having to murder Cameron. She's fine and believes Faitih will benefit from counseling. When Victor returns, the ladies go upstairs while the guys speak. Victor is relieved Sharon assassinated the man. Nick promises to stay with the women, and Victor will increase security around the home. He claims Adam attempted to contact him and wants him to call back.







Audra finds Nate at the Athletic Club bar and they talk about Nick's personal problems. He claims that the situation is hazardous and that Sharon's former stalker is free and harassing his family. Victoria is determined to persuade Nick to take some time off. They talk about both having to step up if anything. Victoria comes and observes the plotting. 

Nick contacts Adam, who wonders where he's been all night and if Sharon and Faith are okay. Nick says they've had a long night, but they're alright. Adam is relieved and claims he did not inform Sally of what was going on. Nick inquires as to why he has been phoning. Adam says Sally is OK, but there has been a change. Adam informs him that Sally is in the hospital. Sharon encourages Nick to go be with Sally. 

Elena returns to Adam and tells him that this will not be easy. She inquires as to how he is doing. He, too, had a miscarriage. Adam describes it as surreal. She will be available to them if they have any queries. He returns to Sally after she leaves. He informs her that Nick will be there. Sally starts blaming Adam, asking how could he do this.
