Today on The Young and the Restless, Sharon is haunted by Cameron, Kyle strategizes with Mariah and Jack does damage control at Jabot.

Summer arrives to the GCAC, ready to hear about Michael's meeting with her mother. He says that her mother is anxious and exhausted. They had a fruitful discussion about her possibilities. Summer inquires if she has discovered a way out of this situation and will be able to return home soon. He's determined to make it happen. Summer believes that the uncertainty is leading to madness. She still can't believe she did this to them, as much as she loves her mother.
She informs him that she may require the services of a lawyer herself. He wonders what did she do. She notes that she was the one her mother initially contacted. She breached a number of laws, and Chance has already informed her that Christine is preparing to prosecute her. Michael points out that speaking with the police was a mistake. She says that her spouse now despises her and that she may want the services of a divorce attorney. Michael is confident Kyle will reconsider, but she is skeptical.
Audra enters the foyer and observes Michael as he tries to console her. She walks over, smiling as she imagines herself in bed with Kyle. Summer admits to Michael that she is the lady who destroyed Noah's heart. Audra introduces herself to Michael and compliments him on his legal reputation. Audra talks about Phyllis and how lucky she is to have Kyle. She departs. They're curious about what that was all about.

A knock on the door startles Sharon at home. It's Nick with a gift that was left at the gate. They drink coffee and talk. Sharon tells him that she is OK and that he does not need to check on her. She confesses that it can be a little stressful at times and recalls the nightmare. They talk about how their daughter is doing. He wishes Summer was ok.
He tells her about Phyllis destroying Summer's marriage. Sharon is simply grateful that Summer has him. Sharon advises that he work at the coffee shop. She observes the package is from out-of-state law practice and concludes it can't be good. When she opens it, she discovers a note addressed to her. It's from the attorney handling Cameron's estate. Sharon is upset. He proposes to burn the box, but she believes they should first examine it. It's loaded with Cameron's adolescent writings and also contains his dog's ashes and a family portrait. They discover the documentation for his business, Kirsten Incorporated, and learn that his company has been transferred to her. They believe this is a weird game. Nick claims that this demonstrates his insane attachment to her. She doesn't want it, no matter how valuable it is. She shifts the conversation to Sally and Adam. Nick notes that he cautioned him to give Sally some space and time.
Kyle gets coffee at the Abbott mansion and recalls his intercourse with Audra. Jack arrives. They talk about the family feud. He understands that he must be unhappy with Summer because of Phyllis. Kyle notes that Summer deceived him and jeopardized his mother's future. Jack believes that he is being tough. Kyle reveals he asked her for a separation. Jack apologizes and takes a seat. Kyle believes this was unavoidable. Kyle perceives Summer as someone who does not trust him. Jack understands how blinding rage can be and advises him to take his time making his decision. Kyle claims that his wife has demonstrated that she will always support her unstable mother.

Summer comes after Kyle has left and assumes her husband has told Jack everything. Summer apologizes and accepts responsibility for her actions. Jack understands. He advises her not to force forgiveness. Perhaps a separation will allow Kyle to calm down.
Kyle goes to Crimson Lights, where he runs into Mariah. He refuses to discuss things, but they sit down and do exactly that. Kyle believes that things will never be the same again for him and Summer. Mariah is disappointed. She says that Summer approached her. Summer, as messed up as she is, is certain she loves him. For him, it all comes down to trust. As Mariah leaves, in comes Audra whispering in Kyle's ear.
