Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on July 26, 2023: Guilty Leo tries to support Gwen. Chad and Stephanie’s evening plans are interrupted. EJ and Nicole learn Sloan is pregnant with Eric’s baby. Sloan panics that her secret will come out.





Days of Our Lives Episode Recap July 26, 2023: Date Night Hell In Salem  






Nicole congratulates Eric and Sloan on their pregnancy and they share the news with EJ when he comes over to them. It is an uncomfortable situation and EJ tries to make a few jokes to lighten the mood but they fall flat. EJ and Nicole offer their sincere congratulations before Eric and Sloan leave to go to their appointment and EJ and Nicole go home. Sloan panics when Eric tells her about the genetic testing EJ is undergoing. 






Eric thinks they should do it too but is worried that he has concerned Sloan about the health of their baby. He has no idea she is actually worried that Eric could be revealed as the father of Nicole's baby. She covers and tells him that she thinks they should do the tests too. At the DiMera mansion, Nicole and EJ argue about their interaction with Eric and Sloan. EJ is worried that she is jealous but Nicole assures him that she loves him, not Eric, and is thrilled to be having a child with him. He is appeased when she tells him that her only concern is her fear of Sloan hurting Eric because she doesn't trust her. They agree to focus on their baby and share a kiss.






Chad comes back from a run and goes to take a shower. Alex knocks on the door shirtless and asks Stephanie's opinion on which shirt he should wear for his date. He is confused when she tells him that he is being pathetic and Chad is not happy when he comes out and sees Alex standing there shirtless again. Alex asks Chad's opinion on shirt choice and he gives it to him before slamming the door in his face.






Melinda is surprised to see that Li is her date again but it turns out that his actual date is a woman named Connie. Melinda throws snarky remarks in her direction and Li takes her to another table so they can have their date. They talk and get to know each other as Melinda's date arrives- it's Alex! Neither date goes well and after Connie and Alex leave, Melinda invites Li to share a glass of their favorite wine with her and he agrees to sit down.






Gwen makes the final plans for her wedding to Dimitri and then sits on his lap, suggesting that they get an early start on their wedding night. She is upset when he pushes her away. He tries to explain that he has things to finish before the wedding himself and that they are both on edge because of nerves but she thinks there is a problem. Dimitri leaves to take care of his errands and Leo comes home. Gwen confides in him what happened and he feels guilty because he knows the real reason Dimitri pushed her away. He does his best to reassure her and it works. Gwen feels better and looks forward to her wedding day.






Dimitri goes to Chad's to invite him and Stephanie to the wedding but Chad insults him and turns down the wedding invite. Chad and Stephanie decide to go to the Pub. They run into Alex in the hall as he comes home from his bad date and Chad reluctantly invites him to go with them. Alex accepts, much to Chad's displeasure. Dimitri goes back to Gwen's to make up but she has to leave to go to deal with something at work. She tells them that they are ok and heads out. Leo and Dimitri start to kiss and Leo pulls away out of guilt. Dimitri promises that Gwen will be happily married to him and they start to kiss again. Outside the Inn, Gwen realizes she has forgotten her phone and heads back upstairs to get it!
