General Hospital Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for July 17, 2023: Ned Comes Home





Spoilers for General Hospital on July 17, 2023: Ava makes a confession. Leo acts out. Lucy turns on the charm. Austin relays a message. Chase tracks down Ned.





General Hospital Episode Recap July 17, 2023: Ned Comes Home





Anna tells Sonny and Dante her plans to lure the shooter out by using herself as bait. Sonny is supportive but Dante tries to talk her out of it. Sonny leaves them to argue about it, affirming his faith in Anna before he leaves. Dante tells Anna that he has faith in her but that she can't do it alone. Anna doesn't want him to put himself in danger for her but he tells her that if she doesn't let him help her then he is going to tell Mac and Robert what she is up to. Anna is surprised that he is blackmailing her but agrees to let him help.






Nina meets Ava for drinks and catches her up on everything going on before asking Ava to share some good news. Ava says that she can't and tells her about sleeping with Austin. Before they can get into it Austin arrives and acts besotted with Ava. Nina leaves them alone to talk while she checks on something and Austin asks Ava about the plans to get Pilar fired. 






Ava tells him that she changed her mind and isn't going to do it and Austin relays a threat from Mason about her mother. Sonny arrives and Ava tells him that they have to talk about Pilar. Sonny tells her that he gave Pilar some time off and that she'll come back ready to focus but Ava thinks she needs help and says that she is hiring her own nanny for Avery. 





Sonny tells her that doesn't work for him and that he needs to approve everyone who is going to be around his daughter. Ava agrees to let him check out anyone she hires and then Sonny leaves with Nina. When they are outside Sonny asks Nina what she knows about Austin. She tells him she thinks that he is a good guy and that he is dating Ava. Sonny says that if Austin is going to be around Avery then he has to get to know him better.





Felicia and Lucy talk as Lucy waits for Jackson at the restaurant. When he gets there he invites Felicia to join them but she tells him that she has plans. Lucy and Jackson flirt and get to know each other and he figures out who she really is. He thinks she is there about his connection to his ex-wife and her former cosmetic company but Lucy tells him that is not why she is there. At his office, Felicia breaks into the safe and finds the file she was looking for. She reads over and just as she gets the information she is after the lights come on and she finds herself being held at gunpoint by the police. Jackson leads Lucy in and she's in handcuffs!





Gregory meets Chase in the Square and Chase asks him if he wants to go to a concert before pointing Ned out to him as he plays his guitar. Chase tells Gregory that he's keeping and eye on him for Brook Lynn and they talk about what Tracy did for Chase. At the Quartermaine's Brook Lynn and Tracy hear loud noises coming from the parlor and find Olivia inside tearing through boxes and crying. She breaks down and tells them she is overwhelmed and needs her husband home. Cody comes in carrying Leo who has a bleeding knee. 





Cody tells them that Leo took Comet out on his own and fell off of him but that he's ok, aside from some scrapes and bruises. When Tracy tries to tell him that he shouldn't have done that, Leo lashes out at him that she isn't his father. Tracy storms out, determined to put an end to this. In the Square, another musician is upset about Ned taking his spot and they agree to a challenge where the people listening to them get to decide who stays. 





Tracy interrupts and mounts an emotional plea to Ned to come home and let her help him fill in what he has forgotten. She tells him about Leo and Olivia and pleads with him but Ned just apologizes and tells her that he can't before walking away. Tracy is upset and Gregory approaches her and tells her that he wants to talk about what she did to Chase. At the Quartermaine's Olivia is about to cook dinner but Cody wants to order pizza for everyone. Olivia tells him that cooking soothes her and heads for the kitchen but stops short when Chase walks in with Ned!
