Performer of the Week

Scott Clifton, a three-time Daytime Emmy winner, showed up and showed off himself as Liam Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful this week. As we saw Clifton's gut-wrenching performance as Liam traveled to Rome to surprise his wife but instead found her kissing the one person who could destroy their marriage, our hearts were practically ripped to shreds. Liam returned to Los Angeles, and when Hope arrived home, Liam tested his wife. As Liam dragged the truth out of his wife, things became quite emotional.




Liam was becoming increasingly irritated by Hope's stumbling. Hope is confused, but gradually becomes more frightened, as she realizes Liam was in Rome and watched her kiss Thomas at the Colosseum. Liam, on the verge of exploding, pressed his wife for the truth. Hope started crying, but Liam yelled at her, “C’mon, say it with me. I … Kissed … Thomas”. Hope revealed the truth, crushing Liam's heart as he realized that his wife was the one who initiated the kiss on this man he despises more than anybody else on the planet. Clifton's acting NEVER declines. He is without a doubt one of the best actors in this genre. We could feel his anger and pain in his voice and posture at the same time. He sure has his Emmy reel locked for next year. He hit it out of the park yet again - congratulations, Clifton, on being named the performer of the week.



Let's not forget Annika Noelle who also broke our hearts this week as Hope had to face the consequences of her actions in Rome. Noelle has truly been an asset to the show - a true talent and this week she brought those raw emotions to the screen delivering one gutwrenching performance after the other.

Days of Our Lives

The drama with Abe heated up. Whitley made a drastic move. Rafe and Eli were summoned to the docks where they met Jerry. There they learned that he "witnessed" Abe falling into the water. They confirmed the blood belonged to Abe and then brought the sad news to Paulina. Wendy and Tripp enjoyed a date. Xander and Chloe turned up the heat. Leo made a big discovery when he found Kristen and EJ. Megan got Rolf to complete the brainwashing process on Harris. Gabi, Stefan and the guests arrive at their engagement party. Nicole had a pregnancy scare and Eric was there to comfort her. Sloan shared a big secret with Colin. Johnny comforted Chanel who was heartbroken over Abe's death. Dimitri took out a ring and ask Gwen to marry him. 

General Hospital

Drew got ready for his prison sentence. Cyrus prepared to welcome him. Drew and Carly shared a passionate moment. Dex and Spencer got into a physical fight. Sasha confided in Sonny. Curtis confronted Jordan. Esme and Spencer bonded for a bit. Trina shared her problems with her mother. Ava and Austin hit the sheet after they had an argument. Lucy asked Felicia for some help. Brook Lynn did Tracy's bidding. 

The Bold and the Beautiful

Hope's world fell apart this week. She returned home and was confronted by Liam about her kissing Thomas in Rome. She pleaded for forgiveness but Liam asked for a divorce. RJ was happy to learn that his parents got back together, Brooke and Taylor confronted each other about Ridge. Steffy told Finn about what happened in Rome but didn't share that Liam kissed her. After his fight with Hope, Liam shows up at Steffy's and kisses her again. 

The Young and the Restless

Sharon received a shocking package. Audra and Kyle hit the sheets. Summer struggled to come to terms with Kyle asking for a separation. She sought legal help from Michael. Michael reunited with Phyllis and later had a romantic date with Lauren. Sally cried in Nick's arms as she vented over the loss of her baby. Nick gave Adam an ultimatum. 

Honorary Mentions: 

It was another week of thrilling performances. Lisa LoCicero gave us a heartbreaking performance as Olivia struggled to handle the fact that Ned doesn't remember his life with her, Courtney Hope wowed us yet again as Sally dealt with the heartbreak of losing her child and vented to Nick, and Steve Burton gave us a mind-blowing performance as Harris was being brainwashed. Congrats all on getting the honorary mention this week.
