The Young and the Restless Recap for Tuesday, July 25, 2023:
Today on The Young and the Restless, Victor approaches Sally with a new opportunity, Chance is suspicious of Adam, and Jack encounters someone from his past.

Nick pays Sally a visit with flowers. He is relieved that she has returned. They kiss, and she tells him she's glad she went. Spending time with her sister and grandmother was extremely beneficial to her. She was able to see things more clearly with a change of location. They spent a lot of time talking about everything that had happened, including dealing with loss and grief. Spending time with them gave her a significant boost in her healing, Nick feels she that looks good with this kind of peace. He informs her that he has formed a business partnership with Sharon and Adam. He is looking forward to the future and is really excited about it. Sally proposes that they go downstairs and get some food.
Victor has taken a seat at a table downstairs. He notices Phyllis as she walks in and invites her to talk with him; she looks really decent for a dead woman. He confronts her about her actions toward her family. Phyllis informs him right away that Carson has been discovered and that she no longer requires his assistance. He pledges that what she did to his granddaughter is unacceptable and that she will be held accountable. Phyllis walks away. Victor invites Sally and Nick to join him downstairs as they arrive. He expresses his heartfelt sympathies for the baby's death. He is impressed with how she handled herself. He makes a proposal. He invites her to create new designs under the auspices of Newman Enterprises. She will be given all of the office space she requires. Sally notes she'll need some time to consider it. In Victor's absence, Nick apologizes for his father putting her on the spot. It's all right, she says. She is ready to return upstairs. She walks away, but Nick remains behind to confront Victor, wondering if this is some form of manipulation.
Y&R Recap Today
Sally makes her way upstairs. She thinks about Victor's offer as well as Adam's most recent offer. Adam knocks on the door but Sally doesn't answer. He runs into Nick as he is leaving. Nick arrives at the suite, and Sally refuses to discuss his father's offer, at least not yet.
Chance and Sharon meet for a date at Society. She is astonished that he did not try everything on the menu, given that Abby runs the restaurant. She apologizes, but he says it's fine; he won't avoid the best restaurant in town because his ex-wife runs it, besides he and she are on good terms. He's curious about the new company, Adustus. She does not like the name. He inquires whether she is confident that joining forces with Adam is the best course of action. Adam walks in and tells Chance to butt out because it has nothing to do with him. Adam tries to find out what is going on between Chance and Sharon. Sharon believes Adam should be given the benefit of the doubt, whilst Chance believes he cannot be trusted. Sharon and Chance take a trip to Crimson Lights. He doesn't want to ruin an otherwise beautiful night by bringing up Adam. He will follow in her footsteps and give him the benefit of the doubt.

At the Jazz Lounge, Ashley updates Tucker about her fight with Jack. She isn't giving up so easily because this isn't how she wants it to end. She is not going down without a fight. Tucker, on the other hand, believes that they should take whatever assets they can from Jabot that will provide a nice little foundation for their venture and leave Diane to drag Jabot through the dirt. They are about to leave when Phyllis storms in. She insists on knowing where Carson is and what Tucker has done to him. He's not going to tell her, but he can't believe she broke the conditions of their agreement by devising a plan to keep Carson away from him in some type of protective custody. Ashley believes they are unable to trust her. Phyllis is tired of fighting and wants to move on. They receive an alert from Leanna Love, who is discussing the developments with Phyllis and what her return means for Diane. Tucker observes that Leana made several valid points
Adam enters and joins Phyllis as Tucker and Ashley leave. She is most emphatically not in the mood to deal with him. He is certain he would have done the same thing if he were in her shoes. She advises him to shut up and leave her business and life alone, but he is ready to make her an offer. She is uninterested in any proposal. Adam refuses to give up. He requires someone to establish and manage an IT team at his new company. She is currently uninterested in working; all she wants is to save her life.
Diane sits in the Abbott mansion, reflecting on Jack and Ashley's dispute. When he steps in, she asks if he's upset about her decision. She is not going to change her mind. She is unwilling to let him dismantle his family business only to stop Ashley. He doesn't want her to think she needs to compromise her happiness to placate his sister, but Diane believes it is the right move if it convinces her to back off. Diane informs Jack that she has devised a strategy. She believes Billy should be their Trojan horse. Tucker and Ashley show up. He inquires with Jack as to when they can receive the paperwork granting Ashley her due portion of Jabot. Jack claims to have changed his mind. Ashley is taken aback; he is willing to prioritize Diane over everyone else in his family. Before they escalate things into an Abbott family war, Jack gives her one final chance to be sensible. She is ready for the war. Ashley and Tucker leave. Jack calls Billy and asks that they meet first thing tomorrow morning to discuss a plan to stop Ashley.
