The Young and the Restless Recap for Wednesday, July 26, 2023:
Today on The Young and the Restless, Jill seeks counsel from Victor, Billy and Nate share a difference of opinion, and Audra works to impress Nick.

Nick has a meeting with Sharon and Adam that he needs to attend, but first, he wants to check on Christian. Sally appreciates the fact that he spent the night with her. She wants to know what he thinks about his father's offer, even though they didn't get a chance to discuss it last night. With her recent loss, he believes she should take as much time as she needs to decide what she wants to do going forward. However, she considers Victor's offer to be far superior to her current position at Chancellor-Winters. Nick asks if she thinks she can trust Victor that much. Of course, she is weary of Victor's intentions, and she doesn't want to let Jill down, but she has to think of what's better for her and Chloe.
Jill is on a video call with Victor. He tells her about Neil Winters's party, which was a huge success. She says she thinks about him all the time and that he is greatly missed. She imagines him and Katherine up in heaven, trading stories and gossiping about them. She inquires as to the true cause of his call. He mentions that he gave Sally a very profitable offer that is more suitable than her current position at Chancellor-Winters, and she doesn't need to be concerned about a design firm because he has already engaged one to do the work that Sally was doing. Jill wonders what happened and why he made such a decision since he doesn't trust Sally. She believes he wants to keep an eye on Sally.
Audra pays a visit to Nate with his new package; a new suit. It's impressive how much he's accomplished in such a short period of time. She is overjoyed for him. She departs for the office.

Nate and Adam meet at Crismon Lights. Adam tells Nate that his new suit looks good. Nate has been quite busy pushing his way into the inner circle, according to Adam. Nate learned from Victoria that he wants to incorporate Newman Media into his new company. Adam agrees, stating that it is a logical move. Nate warns him that what he is planning will never come to fruition.
Sally meets Adam at Crimson Lights. He heard that she had returned from her trip. He inquires about Coco and her Grams, and she responds that they are fine; she simply needed a break to reset, but seeing them helped to put things into perspective. He claims that his last-night visit to see her was a mistake, which he discovered when he bumped into Nick. She claims it was not personal and that she was not avoiding him. He reveals that he and Chance got into it. When Chance said something he didn't like, he raced directly to her in the hopes that she would calm him down. She commends him for walking away rather than approaching her for assistance. She believes she has been very hard on him. She observes that he is doing well with a new company. She wishes he could follow the straight and narrow road and not see Nick as an adversary. Of course, she would say that because she adores Nick. Adam is simply glad she's talking to him about anything, especially since she didn't want to see him after they lost their child. She informs him that Victor appears to be changing his mind about her because he has offered her a design job at Newman. Adam believes Victor is doing this to keep an eye on her. Nick enters and inquires about what is going on. Adam claims to be waiting for Sharon. Sally is about to leave when she announces that she has chosen to give Victor the benefit of the doubt and accept his offer pending a discussion with Chloe.
Nate visits Victor, who warns him not to become too comfy in the big chair. Victor informs Nate that he will be working with Victoria and Nikki just in case he has some huge plans for the future, which will never happen. Newman Enterprises will never be run by anybody else but by a Newman.
Y&R Recap Today
Billy shows up to meet Jack and Diane. It sounded urgent. Diane shares her strategy. She wants Jack and Billy to act out a major fallout in front of Ashley and Tucker. Billy sees the opportunity and convinces them that he can be an ally before infiltrating their ranks and destroying them from the inside. While Jack is concerned, Billy believes it could work. He does not want to put his younger brother in a difficult situation. He admires how he has changed his life. This move may tarnish Billy's reputation, but he doesn't care. He must do whatever it takes to preserve his father's legacy. For a brief while, Jack and Billy quarrel; Diane intervenes, saying that the last thing they need is another family feud. Billy departs to attend to a few matters, promising to contact Jack soon. Diane is hopeful that this is the end of their family's battle. Diane tries to divert Jack's attention with stories about their grandson, but he can't get Ashley and Tucker out of his head. He claims to have an idea. He intends to visit the Justice of the Peace and make her Mrs. Jack Abbott. He cannot wait until September and is eager to show the entire world how much they love each other and that nothing can separate them.
Nate is seated in the chair as Nick arrives at the workplace. He wonders if he's trying the seat for size. He learns that Victoria and Nikki have been summoned to an emergency business meeting out of town. Victoria urged Nate to step in and take care of things while they were away. Nick believes he is doing whatever it takes to fuel his own ambition. Nate is fed up with the continual attacks. Nick advises him to stop testing him. Nate asks him to stop blaming him for his issues and to let him complete the task that his father and sister have left him to do.
Billy overhears Nate talking to Victoria on the phone. After he hangs up, Billy remarks on how extraordinary and impressive Nate is at balancing business and pleasure when it comes to Victoria. Nate points out that Billy, at Chancellor-Winters, was able to do the same thing with Lily. Nate turns and walks away. He goes back to work. Audra enters and informs him that his suit is obviously working for him. She is impressed with how he has assumed control. He tells her about his conversation with Nick and then with Victor. Audra tells him to take the next step with Victoria because she is her father's golden child.
