Y&R Recap Today
Diane points out that she and Jack getting married is proof that their love is strong and real. Ashley applauds Diane for her "performance". Jack tells her to stop it. Billy attempts to provide his perspective, but Jack isn't having it. Jack calls out Ashley for doing business with a creep. Traci overhears the talk and comes in wanting to know if Ashley cannot give Jack and Diane one day without tearing each other apart. Ashley thanks her and walks away and so does Tucker.
Audra and Kyle make out in bed. She says they will soon have to put a limit on their rendezvous and do some actual work. She notes that Adam is trying to make the company redundant so they will have to bring their A-game. Kyle is quite confident that he could be Adam since he did it before. Audra likes his ruthless streak.
Y&R Recap Today
Adam confronts Victor about telling Victoria about his plans. He says knowledge is power and he is not happy that his father took away his power and gave it to the enemy. He informs him that if he continues to bulldoze over everyone he believes to be the enemy, he will be unable to collaborate. It's counterproductive, and if he continues, he'll have to modify his son's perspective. Victor claims he will put a stop to this entire endeavor. Adam is tired of feeling like an outcast and constantly crawling back to his father after their fights. Victor says he is also tired of him rebelling; he has tried so hard to make him feel like a member of the family. Victor notes that he doesn't plan to pull the plug on Audustus but if he has to, he will change his involvement in it. Victor wants Adam to get rid of his anger and resentment toward him for growing up without a father. Adam and Victor agree on the terms going forward. Adam informs him that he offered Phyllis a job.
Abby brings up wedding plans to Ashley, but Ashley redirects the conversation to Jack, who she believes is about to make a mistake. Ashley takes offense to Abby's comparison of Jack's situation to her own relationship with Tucker. Abby doesn't understand why her mother is so invested in Jack's life. Ashley thinks her mother should focus on her own life and let Jack make his own decisions. Meanwhile, Tucker is surprised to see that Billy isn't at the wedding and commiserates with him. When Tucker tells Ashley this, Billy denies it. Tucker feels left out of Billy's family but Billy doesn't consider Diane to be a part of the family either. Abby departs after hugging her mother and urging her to think about her words.
