Today on The Young and the Restless, Jack pushes Kyle to make a tough decision, Summer faces the music, and Devon has a surprising proposition for Lily.

Devon and Abby are at the penthouse. He believes she is seriously considering relocating to the Chancellor home. She is. She knows that the decision is really up to him because leaving the penthouse would be more significant to him than to her. He is not making the choice alone and believes they should be on the same page. She'd be happier with him anywhere. He thinks it's a piece of Katherine's legacy that he could preserve. She believes this indicates they have an answer. 

Lily walks inside Society and notices Crawford Pictures' head walking away from Audra. Miss Charles boasts about having signed a contract with them. Lily is astounded that Nate allowed her to close this deal. Audra informs her that she is now in charge of Newman Media. Lily believes she stabbed him in the back and finds it difficult to accept she was promoted on merit. Nate walks in, and Lily informs him about Audra's moves. He informs her about the temporary switches at the Newman office. Nate congratulates Audra on closing the business this morning, and Lily requests to talk with him alone. Audra stands up and praises Lily for firing her, boasting that she is now at the top.

As she walks away, Lily inquires about how Nate is doing. He informs her that he and Victoria have begun dating. She's taken aback. Audra talks with Nate when Lily leaves. She's concerned about his cousin's influence. She raises a glass to them having all they want. He's shocked at how quickly it all came together. It's unfortunate what happened to Nick, however... They discuss the future and how Nate may take over as COO permanently. 

Abby meets with Chance at the GCAC to discuss the relocation. She encourages him to express his emotions. He acknowledges the concern but emphasizes that the relocation is mostly for Dominic.  She apologizes for causing him pain. For the sake of their child, he wants to put all of this behind them. 

Lily visits Devon at the penthouse and informs him that Nate and Victoria are romantically involved. He already knew but didn't want to spread rumors. He informs her that Nate cheated on Elena with his boss, and she informs him of Nate and Audra's new corporate positions. She wants to think he's a wonderful person, but he continues to prove her incorrect. Devon asks her how would she feel about living next door to Nate? He proposes the penthouse to her. He says that Chance has offered them the opportunity to move into the mansion, which she finds perplexing. Lily admires them for their maturity. She was taken aback, but she has always adored the penthouse and found Neil's presence reassuring. 

Abby appears and informs them of her talk with Chance. Devon is taken aback by how quickly everything is unfolding. They persuade Lily to take the penthouse. Lily leaves. Abby tells Devon that they can slow down the relocation, but he insists it's great. He confesses that leaving the location would be more difficult than he anticipated. It's where he grew up and settled down for the most part. But he's not going to change his mind. It is now time for them to begin their lives together. They kiss.

Kyle stops by Jack's office at Jabot with the most recent Marchetti figures. His father is already familiar with the figures. Given his bond with Summer, he wants to talk about how they should go from here. His son tells him that he and Summer can conduct themselves professionally. Jack isn't certain that's possible. One of them must quit. Kyle believes that would be unfair to Summer given how much time and effort she has put into the firm. His father tells him that she is not the one who must quit. Summer's life is in disarray, and she needs something she can rely on. Kyle is stunned but Jack offers to find him another position at Jabot.

Kyle wonders whether this is his attempt to keep him and his wife together. Kyle believes he would be moving backward. Working with Summer, according to Jack, would be detrimental to both them and the firm. His son is certain that they can put their emotions aside, but Jack is skeptical. Jack wants an immediate response but Kyle storms out saying he will get back to him.

Diane tries to offer Summer her help at the Abbott estate but is shut down. Summer blames her for the breakdown of her marriage. Diane merely wants to help her with the problem, but she is once again rebuffed. Summer notes that her mother was right about her all along. Summer packs her things. She reflects on a talk with Kyle. Kyle walks in and interrupts. He assumes she's been arguing with his mother since her suitcases are packed. He tells her that his father has asked him to leave Marchetti. He disputed it at first, but eventually understood Jack was correct. Marchetti belongs to her. She summons Harrison to say her final goodbyes. They put him on the couch and tell him that they will always love him, but that she will be leaving. Nothing much will change. He offers to give Harrison permission to call her whenever he wants. He offers to help her with her things, but she refuses and goes. 

Diane returns to the workplace and complains to Jack about Summer's rage. He’s sorry about that and adds he had his own run-in with their son. Kyle appears and informs them that they informed Harrison of Summer's departure, and she has already departed. He also agrees to leave Marchetti. Jack assures that the new work would be rewarding. Kyle turns down the offer. He needs time to consider what comes next and his options. Jack and Diane exchange puzzled looks. They are aware that their son is at a crossroads in his life. They think the Abbott home will be much sadder without Summer there. 

Kyle and Audra meet at Crimson Lights. She brags about her first day in her new job. He says that Summer has left and that they are splitting up. She sincerely apologizes and hopes she had nothing to do with it. He assures her that things were horrible before then. He's also unemployed. That catches her off guard. Audra inquires as to what he intends to do next. He still hasn't figured it out. 

Chance runs into Summer in the GCAC lobby. She informs him that Kyle has asked her to leave. He assures her she may contact him if she needs to talk to someone. She has to settle in before she can concentrate on getting her marriage back on track.
