Days of Our Lives Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for August 10, 2023: Brady Hands Rachel Over




Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on August 10, 2023: Brady is faced with a new custody agreement. Chad is grateful for EJ’s advice. Stephanie convinces Yuri to return to Salem. Shawn’s new job prompts mixed feelings. Brady kisses Chloe.




Days of Our Lives Episode Recap August 10, 2023: Brady Hands Rachel Over




At the Salem PD, Shawn tells Belle about his promotion to commissioner and she's concerned. He tells her that the acting mayor left him no choice because he wasn't going to let him be a detective again if he turned down the job. Belle concedes that he had no choice and tells him that he will be a great commissioner. They hug but it's clear that she is still concerned.





Rafe and Jada are having lunch at the Pub and he tries to make small talk but she wants him to tell her how he really feels about Shawn getting his old job. Rafe doesn't like it but feels like there is nothing for him to do so he is trying to move on. Jada admits that she thinks she is more qualified than Shawn and Rafe agrees. They talk about her old job and the unfairness she faced there. Jada blurts out that she has to go to work the next day and answer to a boss who's a drunk without realizing that Shawn and Belle are right behind her.





John finds Brady packing up Rachel's things before he has to take her to Kristen's because of the judge's order giving Kristen full custody. Brady talks about his frustrations over the court ruling and John calls him out on his plans to go on the run with Rachel. Brady tries to deny it but John tells him that he has sophisticated software that notifies him of any unusual computer activity in their apartment. Brady finally admits that he's taking Rachel and running and John tries to talk him out of it. Brady leaves and John prays he will do the right thing.





Stephanie sees Alex in the hall but he is cool toward her and leaves quickly. She's confused and asks Chad about it when she goes inside. Chad pretends not to know what's going on and then Stephanie gets a message offering her a consulting job. Chad encourages her to take it and then brings the kids for a sleepover at the DiMera mansion for Rachel's first night home.





Kristen and EJ share their good news with each other and then Chad brings the kids over. Chad and EJ talk while Kristen shows the kids the new room she set up for their sleepover. Chad thanks EJ for his advice and they talk about how well it worked. Kristen overhears them and laughs about how stupid the plan was and tells Chad it's going to blow up in his face.





Alex meets with Yuri and Yuri tells him that he hired a consultant to help them. Stephanie shows up and Alex is uncomfortable because of his deal with Chad. Stephanie wants to know why he doesn't want to work with her and Alex accidentally says too much. He tries to walk it back but Stephanie figures out what happened and leaves angrily. Yuri tells Chad that if he wants Stephanie back he probably has a good chance.




Chad goes home to tell Stephanie what he did but she already knows and throws a glass of wine in is face. Kristen starts to worry when Brady is late dropping Rachel off. She panics and calls Belle, telling her to call the judge and the police right before hearing Rachel's voice call her Mommy. She turns around and picks her up and they happily embrace as Brady watches unhappily.
