Spoilers for General Hospital on August 25, 2023: Brook Lynn is livid. Alexis has questions. Cody makes his case to Sam. Nina confronts Sonny. Kristina confides in Willow.
General Hospital Episode Recap August 25, 2023: Sam Agrees To Cody's Plan
Molly thanks Alexis for coming to the MetroCourt with her to meet their surrogate, Andrea. Andrea shows up and Molly introduces her to Alexis. They all sit down to talk and Kristina enters the pool area and sees them. She catches Alexis's eye and they share a look before Kristina storms out. Alexis is obviously concerned but focuses her attention back on Andrea.
They talk about Andrea's family and circumstances and how surrogacy will affect it. Alexis asks her what it will mean to her and Andrea is very candid in her responses. Molly and Andrea discuss shared interests and then after she leaves Molly asks for Alexis's opinion and her mother tells her that she likes Andrea and thinks Molly and TJ are going to be wonderful parents.
Brook Lynn is on the phone with Lois and is furious about what Tracy has done to Deception. She feels like she could kill her with her bare hands. At the Quartermaine mansion, Finn arrives to visit with Tracy. They pick up on the backgammon tournament which Tracy is winning and chat. Tracy tells him about her dinner with Gregory and mentions his hand cramping. She asks Finn what's wrong with his father and he asks her not to ask because he doesn't want to lie to her.
Finn asks Tracy about Deception and she gives him the same answer so he changes the subject to Ned. Tracy says that he is still acting like Eddie Maine. They continue to play backgammon and Finn brings up Luke. Tracy emotionally admits to how much she misses him and the void he left in her life but says that she is keeping busy with a new business venture.
Brook Lynn storms in, furious at Tracy. Tracy tells her that she and Finn are playing a game so Brook Lynn flips the board and tells her that it's over. Finn leaves them alone to talk and Brook Lynn demands to know why Tracy is after Deception. Tracy tells her that Lucy stole the idea for the Deceptor from the person she is working with. Brook Lynn tells her that she is going to destroy the company and Tracy tells her that was her plan all along. Brook Lynn storms out furiously.
Willow walks into GH and is greeted warmly by Elizabeth. Willow asks her if she has room for another nurse because she wants to come back to work. Liz says she will be thrilled to have her back as soon as her doctors clear her to return. Willow tells her that she is there to see Terry to ask her about that.
Willow runs into Kristina and Willow updates her on her progress since the transplant. Kristina apologizes for not visiting more but Willow understands. Kristina tells her about her foundation and that she is there to talk to Terry. She asked her to be on the board and is wondering if she has made a decision yet.
Kristina confides in Willow about what is going on between her and Molly. She tells her the whole story and tells her that she feels like she is being left out of her sister's life. Willow encourages her to be patient and assures her that once the baby is there they will mend fences and things will be good again. Kristina tells her that she hopes she and Nina can have a good relationship in the future as well.
Gregory comes to GH to talk to Liz. They sit on a bench and he tells her about his diagnosis. He tells her that only she, Finn, and Alexis know and that he still has to tell Chase but he wanted to tell her so that she could be there for Finn. He tells her that it is hitting him that he is eventually going to die from his disease. She agrees but tells him that there are still plenty of good days left and promises to make sure he enjoys them. Finn looks on as they hug.
Sonny is waiting for Nina at Crimson when she comes into her office. He has a necklace for her to apologize for making her feel left out the other night. She wants him to tell her what's going on but he says that it's business and he can't because he's protecting her. They talk about their wedding and plan for it to be in the winter so they can be sure Willow is well enough to attend. They are hugging when Sonny gets a business call and has to leave to take it.
Sam tells Cody that she will not have him committed but he begs her. He tells her that he is the only one who can help Sasha. He thinks she is being drugged and walks her through why. Cody tells Sam that Gladys is in charge of Sasha's money and that she's a gambling addict. He thinks Sasha is being held against her will. He asks her to think about what she would want if it was her and Sam finally breaks down and agrees to help him.

JK should have been Drew. He and KM have some serious natural chemistry. Way more than KM & DZ. They look more like good friends trying to look romantic but without a natural spark. Sam and Cody would definitely be more exciting.
