Today on The Young and the Restless, Jack and Ashley call a truce, Diane questions Audra about her intentions, and Billy takes on a new role.

Audra calls Nate to check for updates and reminds him of the urgency. Her job is on the line, and Adam won't back down. As she is about to hang up, Adam enters and points out the need for her to move fast before the launch of his company next week. Audra shares that Nate is working on convincing Victor to allow the merger, but a face-to-face conversation with him won't happen today because Victor is currently out of town. Audra wonders where she will land once she can convince Victor and once he folds the company. She makes it clear that she must maintain a power position in the new company's structure, and she wants something in writing. Otherwise, she is willing to risk it because there are a few cards up her sleeves to help deal with the fallout if he decides to release the damaging information he has on her and Tucker. 

Nate goes to the office to talk to Victoria and Nikki, but they are surprised when he suggests merging Newman Media and Adustus, despite Victor disagreeing with Adam. "If we were to fold the two companies together, we'd have a powerhouse media company that would be unrivaled," Nate informs them. Nikki thinks it's a bad idea especially since it sounds like he is suggesting defying Victor Newman in this way. Nikki leaves for a meeting, while Victoria questions Nate's motives and worries about convincing her dad to merge the two companies. Victoria says convincing her dad is a tall order. They'd have to have a solid case to get through to him. Merging the two companies could dilute and jeopardize Audra's power, so Victoria asks if Nate has lost faith in Audra for some reason. As usual, His passion and insights are very inspiring to Victoria, but she says she has to think about convincing her dad. Victoria has to get ready for that video call. She tells him to stop by later, and they could get a bite to eat after work. 

Y&R Recap Today

At the office, Billy asks Ashley and Tucker about their plan for him. Ashley claims that "Simply Ashley" will be successful, while Diane will weaken Jabot, and she and Tucker will take over to save their father's company. They promise Billy that he will run Jabot, and he is intrigued. Ashley and Tucker leave for a meeting with Jack, and Billy immediately texts Jack to tell him they're on their way. 

Abby visits the mansion to meet with Jack. She is ready to meet with him and her mother, but Diane cannot be there. Jack stands up for his wife, demanding that she stays, but Diane thinks her presence will keep him from achieving a peaceful conversation with Ashley. Ashley and Tucker arrive. Abby insists that only siblings should be present for their conversation, asking significant others like Tucker and Diane to leave. Tucker invites Diane to brunch, and they depart. Jack and Ashley engage in name-calling, but Abby intervenes, expressing her desire to broker peace between them. Ashley agrees to walk away willingly as she cannot bear another argument. She says Tucker is behind this because he has been trying to show her the futility of this war with her brother. Eventually, Ashley and Jack come to an agreement and call a truce, with Ashley allowing Jack to bring Diane to the wedding, and they hug.

Y&R Recap Today

Diane and Tucker run into Billy at Society. He's tired of Jack sacrificing the well-being of Jabot for his new wife. Billy warns Diane that she'll push Jack too far, and he won't forgive her. Then he will realize that Ashley has been right about her the entire time. Diane leaves, saying that she has lost her appetite. On the way out, Diane runs into Nikki. Nikki tells her it seems she achieved everything she set out to get when she returned to Genoa City, and she would admire her only if she wasn't so loathsome. Diane walks away.

At Society, Tucker and Billy discuss their plan while Nikki overhears and asks what's going on. They claim to be talking about their mutual dislike for Diane. Nikki advises against battling Diane. Ashley arrives and invites Nikki to the wedding, but Nikki is unsure if she can come with Victor out of town. Nikki is surprised that Ashley and Tucker reunited. She predicts fireworks at the wedding, but Ashley thinks things will go smoothly since she and Jack worked things out. 

At Crimson Lights, Audra and Diane meet. Diane questions Audra's intentions toward her son, Kyle. Audra says he's in good hands professionally, but Diane thinks he belongs at Marchetti with his wife. On the other hand, Audra thinks Kyle is ready to move on from his marriage and maybe his whole life as well. Diane disagrees and predicts that their relationship will fall apart. 

Nate and Adam bicker when they run into each other. Adam accuses Nate of being just as calculating as him and suggests he embrace it. When Nate returns to the office, Victoria tells him she thinks his proposal for Adustus and Newman Media has merit but has one caveat. Over at the Abbott Mansion, as Abby leaves, Diane returns home and learns Ashley relented on everything; she only wanted him to buy her out of Jabot. Diane informs him that Billy was there when she went to Society, and he played his part well—maybe even too well. "Do you think Ashley has actually turned Billy against us?" she asks Jack.
