The Young and the Restless Recap for Monday, August 7, 2023:

Today on The Young and the Restless, Victoria examines her relationship with Nate, Tucker and Audra discuss a secret from their past, and Heather tries to undermine Christine.

Y&R Recap Today

Victoria returns from her trip a day early. Having closed the deal, she found nothing else to occupy her interest. She and Nate share a kiss, and in bed, Victoria asks Nate to tell her everything that happened while she was away. Nate informs her that he and her mother had an honest conversation about his intentions toward Victoria. He respects Nikki's protectiveness of her daughter and told her that things haven't progressed seriously, but he could see it happening. On the other hand, Victoria isn't sure if she could have a serious committed relationship with anyone. After experiencing too many failed attempts, she feels like she is in a stable place. She loves what they have and doesn't want to rush things.

Sharon points out to Phyllis at Society that the situation with Adam and Nick is more than just a business deal for her. Cameron Kirsten was a hateful man who left her a company, and she wants to see something good come out of it. Phyllis hopes she could avoid going to prison. Adam overheard their discussion and encourages them to focus on the positive and plan for success. Phyllis is confident things will work out.

Y&R Recap Today

Summer meets with Daniel in the park to discuss their mother's legal situation. Daniel tells her about Christine's offer not to prosecute Summer if Phyllis pleaded guilty to all the charges. Summer is stunned and says she wouldn't let their mother do it. Daniel doesn't understand their bond, but Summer tells him to back off.

Tucker pays a visit to Audra, yelling at her for making a mistake and telling her that Adam had seen her junk email. He advises her that they are both in trouble and that she needs to fix it. Audra later visits Adam, and they discuss the situation. Adam points out that both Audra and Tucker had covered it up. Audra replies that businesspeople often do this in such situations to protect their business, and they didn't know about it until later. Adam says if it came out that it was covered up, Audra would never recover from this, and Newman Media would suffer. Adam also tells Audra he wants Newman Media and suggests she influence his father to merge it with his new company.

Sharon meets with Mariah and Tessa at Crimson Lights and shares some exciting news about finding the perfect babysitter for Aria. Mariah also decides to leave Jabot and work for Sharon at her new company, which makes Sharon ecstatic. Sharon also talks about her developing relationship with Chance.

Y&R Recap Today

Phyllis returns to her suite and finds Tucker in her room. He admits that she and Adam had gotten the better of him this time. He says cleaning up the mess was good business, and he had to protect the company. Phyllis demands to know why he is really there, and he offers her a deal. If he gets proof that Adam has erased any evidence implicating him in the scandal and is assured that he isn't seeking more, he will give her whatever she needs to be exonerated. She says she needs Carson, and once he is satisfied that she handled her end of the bargain, he would let her know where he is keeping Carson. Plus, if she wants his testimony, she would have to pay Carson. As Tucker opens the door to leave, Summer arrives and asks what he is doing there. He says he was just checking on Phyllis and leaves. Summer then presses Phyllis for the truth.

Daniel and Heather meet at Society and discusses Christine's deal with Phyllis. Heather doesn't like it and believes Christine was coercing Phyllis. Later, Heather confronts Christine and accuses her of coercion. Christine is hurt and feels Heather owes her an apology as an attorney and someone she had a bond with. Heather informs Christine that she will file a motion to remove her from the case.

While at the GCAC, Nate and Victoria encounter Tucker who asks if they are living together. Tucker informs them that he believes Adam is attempting to acquire Newman Media. However, Nate and Victoria reassure him that they will handle the situation if Adam does make a move. Tucker expresses doubts about Audra Charles' ability to lead Newman Media during the conflict and they leave, with Nate questioning why Tucker is trying to undermine Audra and Victoria labeling it as vindictive. Later, Daniel is uncertain about Tucker's true intentions but warns him to stay away from his mother.
