Days of Our Lives Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for Thursday, September 14, 2023: Shawn and Talia Kiss!
Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on Thursday, September 14, 2023: John and Marlena have a surprise for the Mystery Man. Theresa digs for information about Alex and Brady’s trip. Belle worries about Shawn’s drinking. Chanel tells Johnny she’s ready to commit.
Days of Our Lives Episode Recap Thursday, September 14, 2023: Shawn and Talia Kiss!
John and Timothy continue to bond in Marlena's office and she is so happy when she comes back and sees them. Timothy thanks her for everything she did. They tell him it's time to go and he asks if they are going to bring him back to the VA facility. John tells him that he is coming home with them and insists that it's what he and Marlena both want.
Brady comes into the living room with a suitcase and Belle asks about his trip. He tells her and then notices that she's upset and asks what is going on. Belle tells him that Shawn is drinking again and about their fight. Brady tries to comfort her but Belle is still very worried. Marlena comes in and tells them that there is someone they want them to meet and then John comes in with Timothy.
They all tell Belle and Brady the story and they are both thrilled to meet their grandfather. Timothy asks about John's other child and John tells him that Paul lives in San Francisco but couldn't wait to meet him. He is about to show Timothy some pictures of Paul but then Paul walks in and surprises them all. Timothy and Paul bond over baseball and when Paul tells Timothy that he's gay, Timothy asks if he is married and is very accepting.
Paul tells him about Andrew and the family gets to know Timothy better. Andrew shows up and meets Timothy as well and then gathers the family for pictures. Afterward, Marlena pulls Belle aside and Belle tells her what happened with Shawn. Marlena offers to reach out to him but Belle tells her not to. Later John and Timothy are alone, and Timothy tells him that he doesn't want to be an imposition and that he is sure John has other things he should be doing. John tells him that there is nowhere else he would rather be and they hug.
Alex gets out of the shower and answers his door in a towel. He's surprised to see Theresa standing there. He invites her in and asks how she knew where he lived. She tells him that Stephanie told her and that she was the one who gave Theresa his number. Alex asks why she's there and she tells him that she wanted to firm up plans for their dinner date. He reminds her that he's going to Greece with Brady so it will have to wait.
They are interrupted by another knock on the door. It's Andrew and he and Theresa are surprised to see each other. Alex asks if they know each other and Theresa tells him that Andrew is her big brother. Andrew tells her that he is there to talk to Alex about the trip to Greece, to warn him that the crash is still an open investigation, and to stay out of the ISA's way.
Alex promises him that they will and tells them what happened with Victor's will and Vivian. He asks Andrew if there is any clue he can give them about what Victor was doing in Greece. Andrew tells him that Victor met with Konstantine Meleounis and where to find him. Alex thanks him and after Andrew leaves, Theresa suggests to Alex that she should go to Greece with him and Brady.
She tells him that her father is the head of the ISA so her connections there could help them but Alex doesn't think Brady would go along with it so he tells her no. She pretends to accept that and they agree to have their date when he gets back. Later when Alex and Brady head out on their, she lurks in the hallway behind them with a smile on her face.
Johnny is surprised when Chanel shows up at the DiMera mansion because he didn't think he'd be seeing her again that night. She tells him about her talk with Talia but knows she made the right decision. She is sure Johnny is who she wants to be with and makes it clear that she is committed to him. They kiss and Johnny suggests that they go up to his room but she makes it clear that's not happening right away. Instead, they cuddle up on the couch and watch a romantic movie together.
Shawn sees Talia drinking at the Pub and asks if he can join her. She lets him and they pour their hearts out to each other as they get drunk. He tells her about Belle and his guilt over Bo's coma and Victor's death and she tells him about getting dumped by Chanel. When the Pub closes and the bartender makes them leave they go up to Jada's room and continue to drink.
Shawn gets a call from Belle but ignores it and asks Talia if Jada will be mad that they are partying in her room. Talia tells him that Jada is working all night so they have the place to themselves. Shawn sets both of their beer bottles down before kissing her. Talia pulls away for a moment but then they kiss again and fall onto the bed!
