Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on Monday, September 25, 2023: Maggie and Justin make a shocking discovery in Victor’s will. Vivian puts pressure on Alex. Tensions heighten between Xander and Sarah. Chloe discovers some shocking news. Kate blasts Vivian.

Days of Our Lives Episode Recap Monday, September 25, 2023: Kate Faces Off With Vivian

Philip asks Rex if he's told Kate all of his news yet and Rex says that he has not because he feels guilty lying to her. He confides in Philip that he is not Victoria's father, Xander is but is unaware that Chloe has entered the Square and heard what he said. She ducks behind a flower cart and listens while he explains to Philip how it all came about.

Philip understands why Sarah wouldn't want Xander to know. Rex tells him that only Maggie, Justin, and Bonnie know and that they have all agreed to keep it a secret. Philip promises that he will too and Rex says that means a lot, especially since telling the truth could give Philip a chance to get Chloe back. 

Philip tells him that he's not going down that road again and is accepting that Chloe is with Xander now. Rex thanks him and they hug. Rex asks him to officiate the wedding and Philip agrees. He leaves to get ordained online while Rex goes to pick up Sarah and the baby from the hospital. Once they are gone, a visibly shaken Chloe comes out of her hiding spot. 

Days Recap Today

Xander visits Sarah in the hospital and asks how she and the baby are doing. Sarah assures him that they are both fine and asks why he's there. Xander says that he has something to tell her and Sarah remembers her conversation with Maggie and tells him that she has something to tell him too. She insists that he go first and he tells her that he and Chloe are getting married today.

Sarah congratulates him and Xander asks what she wants to tell him. She says that she and Rex are also getting married today. Xander is worried that it might be too soon for her after having the baby but Sarah assures him that she is fine. She tells Xander that they are having a simple ceremony in the Pub and he tells her about his and Chloe's plans for New York. Xander is worried about how Parker will take to him but Sarah assures him that he will be a great father. 

Xander wonders if she really thinks so and Sarah assures him that she does. She reminds him how good he was with MacKenzie and he reminds her that it was really Rachel. Sarah tells him that she knows he only switched the babies to try to spare her pain. They wish each other well before he leaves. Sarah looks emotional after he is gone.

Rex comes in as Sarah puts the baby in her car seat. She tells him about the visit from Xander and he is surprised they are all getting married today. He tells Sarah that if she needs more time he understands but she tells him that her marrying him is best for everyone.

Days Recap Today

Kate comes into the Pub and tells Roman that she has upsetting news. She says that she just heard from Kayla that Sarah had the baby and no one had told them that they have a new granddaughter. Roman is thrilled and wants to go to the hospital to see the baby right away but Kate stops him. She doesn't want to go because Rex didn't tell them about the baby. 

Roman thinks she is being petty but Kate thinks there is something weird going on. Roman admits Rex has been acting weird and wonders if Kate did something to make him angry. Philip comes in and tells them that Kayla told him about the baby too and that he just saw Rex. He says that Rex is coming to see them as soon as he picks up Sarah and the baby and tells them about Vivian's job offer. 

Despite Philip and Roman trying to dissuade her, Kate leaves to have a talk with Vivian. Roman is thrilled when Rex and Sarah arrive with the baby and Rex explains why they didn't tell them earlier. Roman understands but says Kate is mad at him. Rex wonders where his mother is.

Days Recap Today

After getting a message from Vivian Alex goes to Titan and asks what she wants. She tells him that she is running things now and wants him to come back as her number 2. Alex tells her to shove it. Vivian doesn't understand and Alex tells her that he doesn't like her because of how much she has messed with his family and Maggie. 

Vivian tells him that she didn't know he was close to Maggie and Alex makes it clear that he is. He tells her that he wants no part in causing Maggie pain and Vivian tells him that he reminds her of his mother. Alex is surprised that she knew his mother and Vivian tells him that she did, through Victor. She says Angelica was cutthroat and he shares that quality. Alex tells her that Victor told him the same thing.

Alex tells Vivian that he has many things but is not a traitor so he will not partner up with her, his family's enemy. She says that working at Basic Black is the same thing but he brushes it off and leaves. Vivian wonders if anyone wants to work anymore. Kate comes in and blasts her for trying to get Philip to work with her and tells Vivian it will never happen. Vivian asks her if she wants the job instead. Kate makes it clear she would never work for Vivian and says it's a travesty that she is running things. Vivian tells her that is how it is and no one can change it.

Days Recap Today

Chloe gets home and finds Xander packing. He is happy to see she found a dress but notices she is acting weird. Chloe tells him she's just surprised this is finally happening and leaves the room to go pack. When she comes back Xander thanks her for being so understanding and accepting of him and Chloe breaks down. She tells him that she can't marry him because of Sarah and tells him that he is the father of Victoria.

Maggie and Justin are thrilled to have found Victor's will in the briefcase. Maggie tells Justin he should read it since he is a lawyer and he does. In it, Victor acknowledges that he recently found out that he is still married to Vivian and intends to rectify that as soon as he gets back to Salem but wanted to make sure Maggie was provided for in case he died before he could. He says he intends to remarry Maggie as soon as possible and leaves her 50% of his entire estate.

Justin congratulates Maggie and they both agree that they can't wait to see Vivian's face when she finds out. Justin is curious about the other 50% of the estate though so he keeps reading. Victor left personal effects to various family members and then left everything else, including the controlling interest in Titan to a son he says that he has never before acknowledged. 

In his will, Victor says he is doing this to make up for never acknowledging his other son before then. He plans to tell him when he gets back to Salem but wants to make everything legal in the meantime. He doesn't name the son but says the attached letter explains everything. Maggie and Justin look and find an envelope with a note attached that says it is to be included in his will. 

Maggie starts to read the letter out loud and she and Justin are both shocked to hear that a relative of Victor's thinks the child is his son. She keeps reading and can't believe it when the letter names the child as Alexander and it's signed by Angelica! Justin is grappling to come to terms with Alex not being is son when Alex walks into the room.
