Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on Tuesday, September 26, 2023: Chloe has a big decision to make. Sarah has conflicting feelings about the upcoming nuptials. Maggie and Justin are stunned by a new revelation. Alex receives shocking news.
Days of Our Lives Episode Recap Tuesday, September 26, 2023: Xander Confronts Sarah
Days Recap Today
Kate sees Bonnie sitting in the Square and tries to avoid her but Bonnie calls her over and asks if she wants to commiserate since misery loves company. Kate asks why she would be miserable and Bonnie says that Kate hates Vivian as much as the rest of them. Kate agrees that she does and Bonnie vents to her about Vivian kicking them all out and her and Justin having to stay at the Salem Inn. Bonnie tells Kate about the briefcase and says that they are hoping there is something inside of it that can help them.
After Kate leaves Maggie comes over and tells Bonnie she was just coming to find her. She tells her about the new will and tells her that Victor left her half of everything. Bonnie assumes that the rest of the family will be splitting the other half but Maggie tells her that Victor left it all to his son. "Which one?" Bonnie asks her.
Bonnie is shocked when Maggie tells her that Alex is not Justin's son, he's Victor's. She feels so badly for Justin and asks Maggie how he's doing and then says she has to get to him. Maggie tries to get her to stay but Bonnie asks Maggie what she would do if it was her husband in this situation. Maggie tells her where to find Justin and Bonnie leaves quickly. After she is gone Maggie calls Vivian and leaves her a message saying that they have to meet right away.
Days Recap Today
Chloe tells Xander that she can't marry him and explains that it's because of Sarah. Xander tries to assure her that he's over Sarah but Chloe tells him that's not what she meant. She tells him that Sarah lied to him and that Victoria is his daughter and not Rex's. Xander is confused and Chloe explains what she overheard in the Square. Xander doesn't understand why Sarah would lie to him about their child but then realizes that she hates him.
Chloe thinks that there's more to it but Xander disagrees. He thinks that Sarah hates him so much that she would rather their daughter grow up believing a lie. He tells Chloe that if it wasn't for her overhearing then he may never have known the truth. Chloe admits that she thought about keeping the secret but realized that her loyalty is to him and that he had the right to know.
Chloe tells him that there's more and reveals that Sarah isn't in love with Rex and is only marrying him to keep the secret about the baby. Xander questions if Chloe thinks he should go to the Pub and she thinks that he should. He reminds her that they are supposed to be getting married today but Chloe says that the truth about the baby and Sarah changes everything. Xander tells her that he loves her but she tells him to go and sobs after he leaves.

After meeting the baby, Roman tells Rex that all is forgiven but warns him that Kate won't fold that easily. Rex asks where she is and Roman and Philip tell him that she's visiting Vivian and why. Rex tells them that they need to get her back to the Pub but Roman warns him not to get between Vivian and Kate when the fur is flying. Rex tells him that Kate will be madder if she misses his wedding and informs his father that he and Sarah are getting married right now.
Roman is telling the baby how much he and Kate are going to spoil her when Kate comes in and is thrilled to meet her granddaughter. She comments that she wishes it had been a couple days sooner and Rex and Sarah apologize. Rex tells Kate that at least she won't miss the wedding and informs her that he and Sarah are getting married today and that Philip is performing the ceremony.
Kate is surprised, Rex is happy, and Sarah looks very hesitant but they start the wedding ceremony anyway. Philip officiates and goes through the vows. Rex answers quickly but Sarah hesitates. Rex questions her and she quickly recovers and takes her vows. Right after Philip pronounces them married and they kiss, Xander storms into the Pub angrily.
Xander tells her that he knows the truth and that Chloe overheard Rex and Philip in the Square. Rex tries to say she misunderstood but Sarah admits the truth. Xander angrily tells her that they have to talk and they go outside. When they are alone, Xander demands to know why Sarah lied to her. Inside the Pub, Roman brings Rex and Kate a drink. Rex apologizes for lying to his mother and admits that while Sarah was faking about their relationship, he wasn't.
Days Recap Today
Chloe cries as she walks around the apartment and thinks about her relationship with Xander. She calls her mother and tells her that the wedding is off but assures her that she will be fine and there is no need for her to come to Salem. After she hangs up there is a knock on the door and when Chloe answers it she's surprised to see Philip standing there.
