Chloe runs into Rex in the Square while they’re both out getting coffee. He congratulates her on her engagement to Xander and tells her that he’s happy for them. Chloe bets that's because it keeps Xander away from Sarah and the baby she’s carrying. Rex tells her that he’s truly happy for her and Xander. Chloe admits that she was freaked out when she found out that Sarah was pregnant and she’s happy the baby is Rex's because Xander being that father would have ended her engagement before it started.
Rex admits that Xander and Chloe being together is a good thing for him and Sarah, but asks Chloe how she felt when Philip showed up. Chloe says that she was surprised that he was alive and surprised to hear about all the things he had done, but she’s happy that he got the help that he needed and hopes that they can someday be friends.
