Spoilers for General Hospital on September 1, 2023: Olivia tries to jog Eddie’s memory. Chase makes a strong case. Josslyn opens up to Carly. Brook Lynn voices her doubts. Nina visits with Wiley.
General Hospital Episode Recap September 1, 2023:
Cyrus organizes a Bible meeting in prison to motivate his fellow prisoners with hope. Meanwhile, Cyrus takes a moment to speak to the Warden, who acknowledges being impressed by his transformation. Cryus credits his newfound faith for rejuvenating him. She reminds him that they share a common goal and expresses her hope that he won't disappoint her, given his progress. When he returns to the meeting, Cyrus continues his speech, urging his flock to take control of their lives and do divine work. He mentions that their enemy will face justice today.
Joss talks with Carly about Dex. She expresses her annoyance that Dex has to work for Sonny and, in the interim, cancels their plans. Carly reminds Joss that Dex chose a risky job, and she knew about it. Carly encourages her daughter, noting that she cannot change him. Joss decided to go to the concert without Dex.
Olivia attempts to jog Eddie's memory. At the Metro Court pool, Olivia tells him that she has emptied out the area so he can remember who he used to be. He is reluctant at first, but he eventually agrees. Olivia walks him through the night of the accident, but Nina interrupts them. Nina shares her concerns about their experiment. After she leaves, they continue trying, but Eddie ultimately remembers nothing. Olivia is grateful that he tried, and they promise to be friends.
Brook Lynn gives Chase an answer to his question. She says no to moving in with him. She is hesitant for a number of reasons. Of course, Chase understands but still tries to persuade her. Despite all her flaws and all, he continues to beg her to say yes. After some hesitation, she finally agrees to live with Chase, and they leave together.
Valentin and Charlotte grab some coffee, and Charlotte senses that Valentin has something terrible to tell her. He explains that Maxie and her family are moving into Lulu's house. Valentin apologizes for constantly moving her around and says he's always wanted to give her a stable place to live. He assures her that things are changing, but Charlotte is unsure. He knows he's let her down, and she wishes they could always be together. Valentin promises they will be together once he can make it happen.
Maxie and Felicia bring the kids to Lulu's house and inform them it's their new home. Georgie likes the house; however, she reminds her mom that it's still Lulu's house. Maxie agrees, but her best friend would want them to make good memories there. Maxie and her mom talk about Tracy's case against Deception, and Maxie worries about how ruthless Tracy can be. They also discuss Felicia's new job at the hospital and look forward to the future before deciding it's time to start packing.
Steve from the docks approaches Carly at Kelly's and informs her that her ex-husband is in trouble. He overheard some people talking about Corinthos, and they appeared to be Feds. Carly is grateful for the information and immediately tries to call Sonny to warn him.
Nina is surprised by Sonny's sudden arrival at the Metro Court and is eager to talk to him, but their conversation is cut short when Kristina arrives for dinner with her father. Nina steps away to take care of something. During their dinner, Kristina informs Sonny that the board for her project is ready and expresses her gratitude for his help. Sonny is proud of her accomplishments. However, when Carly calls, he chooses not to answer.
Over on the docks, Dex is overseeing a Pikeman delivery when he receives a call from Carly warning him of an upcoming raid. As the Coast Guard and FBI arrive, Dex runs away.
Nina is invited to a BBQ at Willow's house and accepts. While showing Wiley how to make a cocktail, Willow reassures Michael that there's nothing wrong with spending time with Nina. Nina notices Olivia and Ned walking in and stares at them before the FBI suddenly storms in to arrest Sonny for violating the National Security Act.
