General Hospital Episode Recap Wednesday, September 13, 2023: Mason Accuses Ava
Mason comes into the gallery and Ava tells him that they're closed, He accuses her of setting them up and telling Sonny. He tells her that the boss isn't happy with her. Ava denies it and tells him that Sonny is smart and wouldn't be fooled by Betty. She swears she didn't say anything and tells him that she held up her end of the deal and expects them to do the same. Mason tells her that they'll be in touch before leaving and Ava calls Austin. She leaves him a message about what happened and tells him that if she goes down, he coming with her.
Sonny comes downstairs at Carly's house and tells her that he explained things to Donna. She asks what he said and he tells her that he told Donna that the FBI made a mistake and he had to stay with them for a few days until it got cleared up. Carly says that they both know that's not true. She tells him that she's glad that the charges were dropped because she wants him to be happy. Sonny says he wants the same for her
Carly pushes him to tell her what's going on and he finally does. He gives her the details but leaves out the part about Ava killing Nikolas. He tells her that he thinks his enemy is in Pentonville and wants her help to find out who it is. Carly admits that there was a time she would have said yes immediately but tells him that things have changed.
Sonny says that one thing that hasn't changed is that they will always be there for each other. Carly asks if it will endanger Drew or his case and Sonny promises that it won't. She finally agrees and asks him what he needs her to do. Sonny tells her that he will let her know on their way to Pentonville.
Cody wakes up and panics when he finds Sasha gone. He is relieved when he finds her on the porch, enjoying the fresh air. She tells him how horrible it was for her in Ferncliff and about how she doesn't understand what happened. Cody talks to her about everything that happened and finally convinces her that she had been drugged.
She doesn't understand who would do that and he tells her that it was Dr. Montague. Sasha has a hard time believing that because she doesn't understand why he would do it. Cody tells her that he thinks the doctor was paid and tells her that he thinks Gladys was the one paying him. Sasha stares at him in disbelief.
Lucy arrives at the Quartermaine's and tells Tracy that she wants information about her claim on the Deceptor. Tracy tells her that she has to wait for discovery in their lawsuit and Lucy shoots back that she can't wait that long. Tracy reminds of her the deal on the table for a 75/25 split and Lucy turns it down. Tracy shows her the paperwork she had drawn up and Lucy tears it up.
They start negotiating and finally agree on a 60/40 split. Tracy tells her that she is feeling generous and will agree to a 51/49 split on one condition - Lucy returns the 1% of ELQ voting stock that she holds to the family. Lucy rages at her and vows that will never happen before storming out. Tracy laughs because she thinks she will fold. She calls her secret partner and updates her, telling her that it's the perfect time for them to come visit Port Charles.
Chase and Brook Lynn are kissing in their apartment when Maxie arrives looking for her. Chase goes to work and Maxie confronts Brook Lynn about stealing the information on the Deceptor and giving it to Tracy. Brook Lynn comes clean with her and tells her everything. Maxie is furious at her. Brook Lynn begs for a chance to make it right but Maxie fires her before leaving.
Sam gets home after Yoga and kisses Dante. They discuss what to do about their fugitive friends. After all, Dante cares about her and wants to keep her safe. However, helping Cody has made her an accomplice to kidnapping and assault. When Montague is mentioned, she recalls bumping into him and him receiving a call from Gladys. Perhaps Cody was right about Montague drugging Sasha. Additionally, he confessed to playing in a high-stakes card game with Gladys, which is known to them. All of this convinces Sam that Montague is involved. Dante becomes furious thinking about what Montague and Sasha have done and hits the table. Although he never trusted Gladys, he believed she was harmless. Sam believes the most important thing is that Cody saved Sasha's life and asks her to take him to their hiding spot. Dante feels deceived by the situation, and he reflects on his blindness to it.
