Spoilers for General Hospital on Thursday, September 14, 2023: Sasha is flabbergasted; Austin implores Ava; Dante voices his regret; Carly and Drew forge a plan; and Trina receives an offer she can't refuse.
General Hospital Episode Recap Thursday, September 14, 2023: Adam Pays Joss A Visit
Ava storms into Austin's office and demands that Mason give her Nik's body or she is going to Sonny and telling him everything. Austin begs her not to do that and asks her what happened. Ava tells him about her visit from Mason and tells Austin she's not going to take it anymore. He promises that Mason will deliver one way or another and Ava wants to know what that means.
He tells her that he didn't mean anything by it and she wants to know if he's double-crossing her. She tells him that he knows what she's capable of, especially when it comes to Avery. Austin apologizes to her for being in the situation she's in and says he would go back and change things if he could. Ava says she would change things too and she wishes she hadn't let Nikolas provoke her by threatening her and Avery.
Austin asks if she thinks Nikolas would have really hurt Avery. Ava doesn't know what Nikolas was capable of that night but tells Austin the story of the night Kiki died and tells him that she couldn't take any chances with Avery. She says Avery is all she has left and she will protect her with everything she has. Austin promises to pressure Mason and asks her to not go to Sonny. Ava tells him that she will if she doesn't get what she was promised.
Dex goes to the MetroCourt with a message for Nina from Sonny. He tells her that Sonny is going to be unreachable for a few hours and that he and Carly are visiting Drew at Pentonville. Nina asks why they went and Dex tells her that Sonny didn't say. She offers him a cup of coffee but he declines and says he has to go meet Joss. After he leaves, Nina remembers her phone call about turning Drew and Carly in for Insider Trading.
Olivia comes in and Nina questions why she is in such a good mood. Olivia tells her about Neddie's recording session and how great his song is. Nina points out that Olivia keeps calling him Eddie and Olivia tells her that she had to accept him as he was to stop pushing him away. Nina asks if she is falling for Eddie and if she still wants Ned back. Olivia tells her she has work to do and leaves quickly.
Cody sees someone approaching the cabin and tells Sasha to hide. He opens the door ready to attack but is relieved to see it's only Dante and Sam. Cody asks why Dante's there and Sam tells him he can help. Cody explains to Sasha how Sam helped him rescue her and Sasha asks why she would do all that. Sam tells her that Cody always believed she was sane and he convinced her too. Cody asks if Dante's there to arrest them.
Dante tells them that he's not there to arrest them, he's there to apologize to them both. He knows Cody comes through when the chips are down and he should have believed him. He apologizes to Sasha for not seeing what Gladys was doing to her. Sasha questions why Gladys would do it when she claims to love her.
Cody explains to her about Wu's poker game and the part he played in it. Sasha realizes that Gladys was only after her money. She apologizes for not believing Cody and wonders what they're going to do. Sam and Dante promise they are their friends and say the four of them will figure it out.
Carly and Sonny visit Drew in Pentonville and Sonny tells him that he needs his help. Sonny explains what went down with the fake evidence and the FBI and tells him that he needs to find out who Austin was meeting with in Pentonville to find out who he gave the fake information to. Carly is concerned about Drew getting in trouble or being in danger but he tells Sonny he will help him. Drew promises to be careful and he and Carly exchange tender 'I love yous' before he leaves the visiting room.
Cyrus meets with the warden who is not happy that the information he gave her did not lead to Sonny being taken down. Cyrus tells her that he's pissed too and reminds her that he is how she got her job. He explains that he thought the information was good and mentions his people. The warden asks if he's talking about Mason and Cyrus tells her that Mason has come through for them but may have outlived his usefulness.
Cyrus tells her that they both want Sonny out of the way. She blasts him again for the fake information and wonders how it happened. Cyrus tells her that it's on her to find out and she tells him that she is not putting herself at risk to find. Cyrus questions her on that and tells her that he donated his money to a prison institute that a judge friend of there's sits on the board of directors of.
He tells her that the judge could take her out of the job he put her in and she asks if he is threatening her and tells him to keep his nose clean. She calls for a guard to take him back to his cell and he thanks her for her warm and supportive ear. The warden looks very angry as he leaves.
Carly and Sonny talk about how worried she is outside the prison and inside Drew approaches a guard and talks to him about his son. He offers the guard's son an internship at Aurora and the guard asks what he wants in return. Drew tells him that he will get the kid an internship either way but there is some information he needs. He asks who Austin visited but neither of them knows Cyrus is listening around the corner.
Trina is working on a ladder at the gallery with her earbuds in when Spencer comes in to see her. He surprises her and she falls but he catches her just in time. He is happy to see her dove on her desk and she thanks him for catching her, telling him it was very romantic. Trina asks what brought him by and he tells her that he got his text and he missed her.
She tells him about trying to set up a new gaming system at home with Curtis and he asks why she's at the gallery. She tells him that Ava left out some things from the new exhibit and she was handling it for her. Spencer thinks she should go back to the Chuck Gallery to further her career but she is happy with Ava. She doesn't want to just use a job as a stepping stone, she wants to be fulfilled and she gets that with Ava.
She tells him everything she's going through with starting school and trying to juggle things with Curtis and Taggert and he tries to be there for her. She hates that they hardly have any alone time and he tells her that he thinks he solved that problem. He wants to take her away to New York City and then to Turks & Caicos.
Trina asks about Esme and Ace and Spencer tells her that he's going to have Alexis check on them. She tells him that she can't go with him. He tries to talk her into it but she doesn't think it's a good time for her to leave for so long. He questions why she needs to go to college and she explains what it means to her. She agrees to a shorter trip to New York City and Spencer is thrilled. He tells her that he's going to make their plans and they kiss goodbye. Trina smiles as she holds her dove and Spencer calls and books a suite for them.
Joss is trying to move a mini fridge into her dorm when Dex arrives and insists on doing it for her. While he is doing it, Adam stops by and knocks on Joss's open door. He asks if she needs help moving her stuff but she tells him she already has some as Dex comes over to them. Adam asks, "You're not a student here, are you?"
Dex tells him that he's just there to help Dex and goes back to work. Adam asks Joss if she wants to join his organic chemistry study group and she tells him that she has to check her schedule. Adam pushes her to join and she promises to get back to him before telling him they're busy and closing the door. She apologizes to Dex but he says Adam is right.
She asks what he means and he talks about their worlds being different. She asks him if he's dumping her and he assures her that he's not before they start kissing and move to the bed, undressing each other.
