Spoilers for General Hospital on Monday, September 18, 2023: Valentin gets a shock; Martin is in the hot seat; Brook Lynn makes a confession; Marshall is concerned; and Nina offers assistance.
General Hospital Episode Recap Monday, September 18, 2023: Valentin Knows Who Did It!
Anna is looking at the threat written on her mirror when Valentin comes in and sees it. Anna says that whoever got in there is trying to get to her and it's working. Anna thinks someone is trying to take everything from her but Valentin thinks they want to convey an actual threat. Anna tells him that whoever it is has had plenty of chances to kill her.
Anna tells him that she doesn't think this feels like the WSB, it feels personal. Valentin doesn't want to take any chances. Valentin hugs her and then heads for the door. She wants to know where he is going and he tells her he wants to check the cameras. Anna thinks a professional would have avoided them but he wants to check anyway. Before he leaves, he tells her to call the police and report the break-in.
After Valentin is gone, Anna looks around her hotel suite and thinks about the lies he has told her lately and the shooting. She remembers her conversation with Dante about where Valentin was the night of the fire and she gets her phone. She calls the PCPD to report a break-in.

Lucy goes to see Nina in her office and hears her on the phone discussing Sasha. After Nina hangs up, Lucy says that Sasha is who she needs to talk to her about. She asks Nina to tell her what is going on with Sasha and tells her that she doesn't have time to wait. Nina tells her that Cody took Sasha out of Ferncliff and is about to be charged with kidnapping.
Lucy says he would never kidnap Sasha. She wonders if Cody thinks he's rescuing her like he did at the Home and Heart show. She tells Nina that Deception is in trouble and she needs to know if Sasha can come back soon, otherwise, she has to replace her. Nina is upset that Lucy is worried about her bottom line right now.
Lucy tries to explain but Nina doesn't want to hear it and kicks her out. Valentin arrives and asks for Nina's help. He tells her he needs to see the security footage from outside of Anna's hotel suite. Nina wants to know what is going on and Valentin fills her in. Nina agrees to show him the footage and they watch it together. Whatever they see shocks them both!

Blair sits down with Martin and orders them each a new drink. Martin demands to know what she is doing there and why she's meeting with Tracy. Blair asks why he didn't introduce her to Lucy and asks where she went. Martin demands to know what is going on and Blair tells him he is smart enough to figure it out.
Martin figures out that Blair sold the rights to her idea for a beauty wand to Tracy and she admits it. She is furious that he gave Lucy her idea for her product. He tells her that her product never worked and Lucy's does. Blair tells him that he messed up and it's going to cost him. Blair tells him that she doesn't want to pay him alimony anymore but Martin says she shouldn't have cheated then.
Blair explains that her plan is that when Lucy loses Deception he will have to marry her and then she won't have to give him any more alimony. She tells him that if he doesn't do what she wants then she is going to tell Lucy everything and be her star witness when Lucy sues him. Blair says that keeping Lucy and the rest of his money is a good trade-off before telling him to think about it.
She kisses him on the cheek and tells him it's so nice to see him before heading for the elevator. Martin looks shell shocked but then he sees Lucy coming and quickly runs over, pulling her into a passionate kiss. Lucy kisses him back and tells him he almost made her forget all her problems. Martin says that is what he's there for.

Stella and Liz discuss Stella's job as a patient advocate. Liz notices that Dr. Bronson has a lot of patients who request her services. Marshall interrupts and says he needs to talk to Stella. She tells him that she's busy with work but he insists. They step away from the nurse's station and Marshall tells her that Curtis is thinking about selling the Savoy. Stella says that he can't, it will be the death of him.
Stella rages against the idea of Curtis selling the club and Marshall doesn't disagree with her. She doesn't understand why Curtis would think about selling the club and Marshall tells her that he may have gotten an offer he can't refuse. He tells her that Selina Wu made him an offer and is trying to convince him that he can't run the club in his current condition.
Marshall is hoping Stella can convince Curtis to keep the club. Stella promises to do anything she can. They talk about her job and she tells him that she is getting help with Felicia coming on. Marshall says that it's good to have her back and the family closer than ever. Stella agrees they are lucky to have the family they have.

Alexis and Finn talk about the situation with Molly and Kristina after their AA meeting. Alexis comments on him not sharing in the meeting and he tells her that he is trying to respect his father's wishes. Alexis says that at least Gregory told Chase and Finn tells her that he hasn't told Chase yet. Finn opens up to her about wanting to help his father and not knowing how without overstepping.
He's determined to let his father set his boundaries but admits his struggles with accepting the limitations his father has set for him. They talk about how Gregory wants to be treated and what will happen next. Alexis promises him that he's not alone and that they are in it together. Finn tells her that helps a lot.
Finn thinks Liz is trying to avoid him but she tells him that she was going to tell him something but changed her mind. He says she has to tell him now and finally she admits that she doesn't think Dr. Bronson is the right doctor for his father. He asks if there is an issue but she tells him no. She just thinks Gregory needs someone more responsive to their patients than Dr. Bronson.
Finn tells her that he can't step in and dictate treatment. Liz encourages him to talk to Gregory and offers him alternatives. Finn agrees to do some research and gets some recommendations. Liz offers any help he needs and he thanks her for giving him the push he needed.

Gregory is unsteady in the hall outside of Alexis' office. He sees Esme upset inside the office and wonders what she is doing there. Esme tells him she was trying to organize for Alexis because she didn't want to go home yet. Gregory is surprised that she doesn't want to go home to her baby but she tells him that Spencer is who she is avoiding.
Esme tells him that she doesn't want to burden him with her problems but he wants her to talk to him. Esme confides in him about overhearing Spencer and Alexis and knowing Spencer doesn't trust her. She thought they were making progress but now sees that she was wrong. Gregory tells her that families sometimes hurt each other but can still be there for each other.
Esme tells him that Spencer only sees her for who she used to be and not who she is now. Gregory tells her that Alexis had her doubts but now sees her for who she is now and so does he. He advises her to focus on the short term, the one thing that day that made her smile. She asks if he does that. He tells her that he does and it makes a difference for him.
He tells her that he tried lavender ice cream for the first time and it was amazing and made his day. He asks her for hers and she tells him a story about Ace. He offers to fix Alexis' desk so she can get home and Alexis comes in. Gregory trips and Alexis asks if she is okay. She covers for him with Esme and then sends her home for the day.
Gregory asks how much Alexis heard and she tells him that she heard him lift Esme up. She reminds him that his life isn't over and asks why he didn't tell Chase. He tells her about what he saw with Brook Lynn and Chase and says he just couldn't ruin it. Alexis asks how he is feeling and he tells her the truth before adding that he intends to live his life the best he can for as long as he can. He asks if she's ever tried lavender ice cream.

Chase gets home and finds Brook Lynn upset. She tells him that she got fired and he is shocked. She tells him that she's not upset about the job, she's upset because she lost her best friend. He asks her what happened and she tells him and tells him how guilty she feels. Brook Lynn tells him she is getting exactly what she deserves, Maxie hating her.
Chase tells her that she made a mistake and that after how many Maxie has made she should understand. Brook Lynn hates that she let her grandmother control her and didn't just come to him with the truth immediately. Chase tells her that it's too late for that. Brook Lynn asks if he means it's too late for them but he tells her no.
He says it is too late for her to regret not telling him because she told him everything already. Brook Lynn is happy that this isn't going to come between them but hates that she hurt her friends. Chase tells her that he doesn't understand how Tracy could have done this to her own granddaughter.
Brook Lynn tries to explain to Tracy and tells Chase that she is deliberately destructive. She tells him that he's lucky to have a family who is open and honest. They talk about loving to spend time with their families and agree they are also lucky to have each other.
