Spoilers for General Hospital on Wednesday, September 20, 2023: Brook Lynn rebukes Tracy; Lucy and Maxie clash; Nina treads carefully; Cody apologizes; Liz and Finn weigh in on Gregory's care.
General Hospital Episode Recap Wednesday, September 20, 2023: Charlotte Shows Her Cards
Mac and Felicia are babysitting the kids at Maxie's house and James shows them the knots Cody was teaching him about. He asks Mac if they can go to the stables to see Cody but Mac tells him that Cody is away and they have to wait to see him when he gets back. Scotty and Lucy show up with a bottle of champagne and Scotty tells them that Lucy is down and needs a fun game night. He breaks out a deck of cards and Felicia puts James to bed.
Maxie comes in and she and Lucy plot ways to off Tracy until Mac reminds them that he is the police commissioner. Lucy mentions the better off she got from Tracy and Maxie grills her on it. Maxie is furious that Lucy didn't take it or even discuss it with her. They argue loudly until James wakes up. Maxie calls Lucy selfish before putting James back to bed. Scotty and Lucy leave and he promises her that everything will be ok.

At the cabin, Cody suggests that he and Sasha could just disappear. She disagrees because they only have a car and a little cash. Sasha wants to wait to see what Sam comes up with Cody blames himself for them being in the situation they are in. He feels that if he had been honest with her from the start things would be different. Sasha questions what he was dishonest about and he tells her everything.
He tells her about knowing Gladys was gambling and in debt and about his working for Wu. Cody says that he kept quiet to keep his job with Wu but when he did want to tell it was too late and Wu threatened him. Sasha reminds him about all the times he tried to warn her but Cody doesn't think he did enough. She asks him why he came clean and he brings up the look in her eyes when she stabbed him, he knew it wasn't her and had to help her.
Sasha thanks him for rescuing her and believing in her and they agree to stay put for now. Cody says they have to get rest and Sasha doesn't want him to sleep on the chair again but he insists. She takes the bed but after a while feels guilty and tries to get him to take the bed but finds that he is already sound asleep.
GH Recap Today
Tracy approaches Brook Lynn at GH and wants to know why she hasn't returned her calls. Brook Lynn tells her that she has nothing to say to her and blames her for the loss of her job. Tracy tries to say she did it all for Brook Lynn's own good but Brook Lynn doesn't believe her. She tells her grandmother that she is going back to music and Tracy tells her that she won't allow it after what happened with Ned. Brook Lynn tells her that she has no leverage and makes it clear that Tracy has lost her granddaughter.
Gregory comes to GH and asks Liz if Dr. Bronson is available. She goes to check his schedule and then sees Finn and tells him that his father is there. Finn takes Gregory to the side and talks to him about his concerns about Dr. Bronson. He tells his father that Liz agrees with him and Gregory asks Liz if she has an issue with his doctor. She tells him that she doesn't and apologizes if she overstepped.
They both agree Dr. Bronson is a good doctor but think that Gregory may need someone who is more hands-on with their patients and open to other treatment options. Finn asks his father for permission to find other doctors and Gregory gives it to him. He thanks them both and when Finn has to leave for a page, Gregory thanks Liz for being there for his son during this.
Tracy comes up to Finn to request an emergency backgammon game and they discuss it until Gregory approaches them. Tracy tells him what happened with Brook Lynn and he offers to buy her a soda. Finn watches them and thanks Liz for being so supportive of him. Tracy notices Gregory struggling with getting his can open and he reveals his diagnosis to her.

Anna goes to Sonny's office and asks if his offer of protection is still good. She tells him about the break-in and tells him that the security footage is missing. Sonny questions if Valentin is telling her the truth but Anna thinks he is because he was with her when it happened. She thinks Sonny was the shooter's target and someone else is targeting her.
Sonny wonders if Pikeman was behind the shooting and Anna says they could be and so could the WSB. She tells him that they could be connected and maybe working together. Sonny promises to get her protection and tells her that the attacks aren't going to stop.
GH Recap Today
Nina is rewatching the security footage when Charlotte comes in with Valentin. She greets them happily and Valentin asks Charlotte about her day. She tells them about her day with Jake and even shows them pictures. It's late so Valentin suggests that Charlotte have a sleepover with Nina and she agrees. As they go to wait for Nina in the lobby, Valentin whispers to her to get the footage off of the serve.
They get to Nina's and Valentin calls Anna to let her know where he is while Nina shows Charlotte to her guest room. Valentin goes to tuck her in and apologizes for not finding them a house yet. He promises that he will soon and Charlotte asks if Anna will be with them. He says yes and Charlotte pretends to be happy about that. After he leaves her room he thanks Nina and tells her that he will be back in the morning. Nina promises to be there for both of them and Valentin leaves.
After he is gone Nina calls Sonny to let him know she is staying at her place with Charlotte and will see him tomorrow. Sonny tells her about his talk with Anna and is shocked someone messed with her footage. Valentin finds Anna looking at the message in the hotel suite bathroom and stands close to her. In Nina's guest room, Charlotte pulls a deck of Tarot cards from her backpack and begins to deal them out with a smile on her face.
