Spoilers for General Hospital on Monday, September 25, 2023: Elizabeth updates Carly; Portia apologizes; Sonny races to the hospital; Valentin unveils a surprise; and Jake makes a confession.
General Hospital Episode Recap Monday, September 25, 2023: Jake Comes Clean to Liz
Dex comes into Sonny's office and tells him about Drew getting beat up in prison. Sonny asks how he is and Dex tells him that Drew's being taken to GH and it's bad. Sonny is angry and wants to know what happened. Dex tells him that he made it clear to Book that Drew was under Sonny's protection. Before they leave to go to the hospital, Sonny tells DAX that they have to find out who did this, and they have to be punished.

Liz talks to a doctor about Drew's injuries and Jake comes off the elevator and tells her that he needs to talk to her about Charlotte. Liz tells him that she's busy but he insists that it's important. Carly comes off the elevator and Liz asks Jake to wait by the planter. Carly rushes over to Liz and asks about Drew and Liz tells her that Drew hasn't regained consciousness since the beating. Carly begs her to tell her that he's going to be ok.
Liz tells her that he is getting the best care and Carly tells her that she needs information or she is going to call Monica. Liz tells her that Monica is at a conference in Berlin and there is no need to interrupt her until they know something. She tells Carly that Drew named her as his emergency contact so the doctors will be out to talk to her once they know something.
Liz tells Carly that she has to go talk to Jake. Carly’s worried about how Jake’s going to take the news about Drew. Liz tells her that she hasn’t told him yet and she’s not sure how he’s going to because after losing Jason and Franco she’s not sure how he’ll react if he loses someone else. Liz promises that the doctor will update Carly but warns her it will probably be a long wait. Carly says she’s not going anywhere and Liz goes to talk to Jake.
She apologizes for it taking so long but tells him that she has to work and she doesn’t have a lot of time. Jake tells her that he was with Charlotte the night before. Liz is surprised because she thought he was with his friend, Angus. Jake admits that he lied but since Charlotte took a lot of selfies of them he thought she would post them and Liz would see so he came clean before that happened. Liz asks if he likes Charlotte and he admits that he does.
She asks what he likes about her and Jake tells her that he likes everything and he likes that Charlotte likes him. Liz thanks him for telling her but says she has to get back to work. Jake sees Carly and wants to ask her about visiting Drew. Liz tells him that she has to tell him something about Drew. Jake is upset and wants to wait for word on Drew.
Sonny gets off of the elevator and Carly stares at him coldly. When he approaches she reminds him that he promised to protect Drew. Sonny tells her that he doesn't know what happened and she says they put him in danger by asking him to help them. Sonny tells her that Drew is a smart guy and would have been careful and she asks why he is fighting for his life then. Sonny assures Carly that Drew will get through this.
Carly asks how he knows and Sonny tells her that Diane is going to do everything she can to get Drew out of Pentonville as soon as he's better. Carly wonders if he'll be alive to be released. Sonny tells her not to go to the worst case scenario and she tells him that she loves Drew and he may die. She tells him that everything that happened is wrong before storming away from him.
Sonny gets on the elevator and Dex wonders if Pikeman could be behind Drew's attack. Sonny says they might be but it could be anyone who wants to take him down. Dex promises to keep pushing.
Carly thinks about her conversations with Ava and Sonny and calls Ava to come to GH. She sees Nina step off the elevator and asks what she is doing there. Nina tells her that she heard what happened and Liz tells Carly that Drew is being taken into emergency surgery and the doctor will update her soon. Carly prays he will be okay. The doctor updates Carly about Drew's condition and tells her that they won't have any answers until he is out of surgery.

Portia and Anna run into each other in the hallway at the hospital. Anna is uncomfortable and apologizes before walking away but Portia asks her to wait. Anna asks her guard to let them speak privately and Portia tells her that she thinks they need to clear the air. Anna says that she never should have come to her house, she just really needed to see Curtis but she’s very sorry. Portia tells her that Curtis doesn’t blame her and Anna says that he was very gracious.
Portia admits that she wasn’t but Anna tells her that there was nothing she said that was untrue. Portia agrees with that but says that it was not proportionate. She said that she shouldn’t have focused all of her anger on Anna. "All?" Anna asks her. Portia apologizes and admits that she’s angry that Curtis was collateral damage because somebody was trying to shoot Anna or Sonny. She knows that neither of them pulled the trigger but she’s upset because Curtis is in a wheelchair by no fault of his own.
Portia thanks Anna for saving her daughter in Greenland and gives her sympathies for her house burning down. She tells her that Curtis told her about how Anna saved Valentin and tells her that she's happy Anna has someone in her life. Portia goes back to work and Anna remembers her recent conversations with Valentin. She asks her guard to meet her down at the car later before walking away.

TJ sees Curtis in the hospital and Curtis updates him about his appointment. Molly approaches and tells them that she has news to share. Curtis offers to leave so they can have privacy, but Molly tells him that she wants him to hear too. She tells TJ she was going to wait until he was off of work, but that she just couldn’t help herself and had to come tell him in person. TJ asks what the news is and she tells him that the insemination worked and Andrea is pregnant.
TJ is overjoyed and Curtis congratulates them. Molly tells them how she found out and tells Curtis that he can tell Portia. TJ asks who else knows and she tells him that Alexis was there when Andrea told her and that she told Alexis that she could tell Kristina. TJ wants them to keep the circle of people who know to family and Molly agrees. She gets a call from work and Curtis and TJ talk about how happy he is.
Sonny steps off the elevator and sees Portia celebrating with Molly, TJ, and Curtis. Molly and TJ leave and Sonny starts to head over but Portia sees him and wheels Curtis out of the hospital before Sonny can talk to them. Sonny tells Dex he can go and walks away.

Sonny goes to the hospital chapel and sees Anna there. She comments on where they keep running into each other and he says they both need to be there. Sonny asks if she remembers asking him if he thought his life was worth the cost and she tells him that she does. He admits that he is starting to wonder.

Blaze is at Charlie's reading about Brook Lynn getting fired from Deception on her phone when Brook Lynn comes in and apologizes for being late. She sits down and tells Blaze that she is going back to music management and she wants to sign her as her first client. Blaze tells her about talking to Kristina and they talk about Kristina's singing talent.
Brook Lynn changes the subject back to Blaze and tells her that she has a plan to take her career to the next level. Brook Lynn gives Blaze her pitch and tells her all of the plans that she has to help her with her career. Blaze agrees to let Brook Lynn manager, but Brook Lynn keeps pitching to her. Blaze repeats her agreement, and Brook Lynn finally realizes what’s happened.
Blaze tells her how much Brook Lynn standing up for her with Linc meant to her. Blaze tells her that she’s not sure if she would’ve been able to get away from Linc if it wasn’t for Brook Lynn. Brook Lynn apologizes to Blaze for not stepping in sooner but Blaze tells her not to do that. She talks about a support group she is in and tells Brook Lynn that they are strong women and not to blame for guys like Linc. They toast to Linc being canceled.
Blaze asks if she has a contract and Brook Lynn asks if she's sure she doesn't want to think about it. Blaze tells her that she trusts her and then asks about Deception, showing her the article on her phone. Brook Lynn is horrified by the article but Blaze tells her to ignore it. They talk about how hard it was for Brook Lynn when she lost her ability to sing and Blaze understands. Brook Lynn tells her about her mother and Blaze can't wait to meet her. Brook Lynn is thrilled that Blaze still wants to sign with her.

Alexis comes to Charlie's and greets Kristina, telling her that she is there to see her because she has news to share about her sister. Kristina asks her to say it's about Sam but Alexis tells her that it's about Molly. Alexis tells her that it’s not anything bad. It’s actually good news. She tells Kristina that Molly heard from her surrogate that she is pregnant so Molly and TJ are expecting a baby. Kristina is happy for her sister and Alexis tells her that she is hoping that they can all be supportive of Molly during this. Kristina agrees but admits that she is hurt that Molly didn't give her the news herself.
Alexis thinks Kristina is being sensitive and Kristina asks if Molly asked her to tell her or if it was Alexis' idea. She can tell the answer from Alexis' reaction but Alexis tries to comfort her and tells her that now that the surrogate is pregnant Molly can relax and deal with everything. She hopes they can support her and give her space and Krsitna wonders why her sister doesn't want a relationship with her.
She tells Alexis that she feels that she is never going to get her sister back. Alexis tells her to sit back and wait and Molly and TJ will reach out when they are ready. They talk about Kristina's youth center and plans for fundraising. Kristina looks over at Blaze and tells Alexis she might have an idea for it. Kristina walks her out and Alexis assures her that she and Molly will be ok. After Alexis leaves Kristina looks at Blaze through the window.

At Nina's Charlotte has a nightmare about Anna telling her that Valentin has no time for her since he is so busy with Anna. She wakes up yelling and Nina comforts her. She asks her if she remembers the dream but Charlotte tells her that she doesn't. Nina tells her that sometimes it’s helpful to talk about your dreams, but Valentin comes in before she can get Charlotte to confide anything in her. Charlotte happily greets Valentin, hugging him tightly.
Nina tells Valentin that Charlotte had a bad dream. Valentin asks what they’ve been doing, and Nina tells him about their day. Valentin tells Charlotte that he has a surprise that will make the bad dream fly right out of her head. When she goes to get her jacket, Nina asks what if Charlotte was dreaming about what she did to Anna. Valentin says he hopes that his surprise helps them all move past it.
Valentin takes them to a house and Charlotte asks who it belongs to. He opens the door and tells her to see for herself. Charlotte walks in and looks around. Nina steps outside to take a phone call from Dex. He tells her that Sonny can't meet her because he is at GH. She asks if he is ok and Dex tells her that he is fine. He tells her that he is there because Drew was beaten in prison and they don't know if he will be ok or not.
Inside Valentin gives Charlotte a tour and she asks if he is thinking of buying it. He tells her that he already did and she is thrilled. They look around outside and Valentin gets a call from the landscaper. Charlotte remembers receiving a package at school with tarot cards and a letter inside. Valentin asks her if everything is alright and she tells him that everything will be perfect.
