Spoilers for General Hospital on Thursday, September 28, 2023: Cyrus takes a meeting; Ava and Josslyn find common ground; Mac offers reassurance; Cody loses his cool; and Sasha feels betrayed.
General Hospital Episode Recap Thursday, September 28, 2023: Cyrus Gives A Deadly Order
Spencer and Trina get to their hotel suite and Trina is blown away by how nice it is. They kiss and Spencer leaves to get the tickets to the show they are going to see and Trina calls Portia to tell her that they arrived safely. She changes into a satin robe and video calls Joss to show her the room and tell her how excited she is.
When Spencer comes back he tells Trina he has a surprise for her and an appetizer tray and champagne is delivered by room service. They kiss and toast to them before Spencer goes to get ready for dinner. After he is done Trina changes and Spencer is speechless at how beautiful she looks. He surprises her with a necklace to remind her of their trip and they kiss before leaving to go for dinner.

Joss is playing squirt guns with Donna and Avery when Ava shows up to see her daughter. She and Joss talk and Joss tells her that Trina is lucky to have her. Joss invites her to stay for dinner and Ava is touched. After dinner the girls get ready for bed and Ava asks Joss about dating Dex. She tells her about her own experience with the mob when her father was running things and wants to make sure Joss knows what she is getting into. Joss assures her that she does and Ava leaves, Outside Ava calls Nina and tells her that Drew is awake so she doesn't have his death on her conscience.

Cyrus has a late-night visitor at Pentonville and the guard comments on it. Cyrus says that the warden owes him and sits down for his visit with Mason. He asks about Drew and Mason tells him that the last he heard he was in surgery and it didn't look good for him. Cyrus quotes bible verses about siding with the devil and asks Mason what happens with the fake info on Sonny and Pikeman
Mason thinks it was Betty getting sloppy but Cyrus thinks it was Ava and tells Mason to deal with it. Mason argues that Nikolas said she wasn't to be harmed but Cyrus says Nik isn't in charge, he is. He angrily tells Mason to get it done before leaving the room.

Jordan and the warden meet at GH and discuss the attack on Drew. Jordan thinks there may have been a partnership with the guards and inmates and wants a full investigation. In Drew's room, Carly sits vigil waiting for him to wake up. When the nurse comes in she asks if there could be complications but is thrilled to hear Drew say he is feeling ok, better with her there.
Deanna goes to get the doctor and Carly apologizes to Drew for him getting attacked. She blames herself and Sonny for asking him to help but Drew tells her that he made his own decision to help and she is not to blame. Jordan and the warden come in and the warden apologizes to Drew. They all agree that he doesn't belong in Pentonville and the warden promises to do everything she can to get him an early release.

Sasha demands that Gladys go to the PCPD and confess and then testify against Montague. Gladys keeps trying to get around it but finally agrees. She tells Sasha that she will go right now and promises not to tell anyone that she saw her. Once she is in the hallway she calls and reports Sasha to the authorities. Sasha feels betrayed even more when they arrive to bring her back to Ferncliff.

At the PCPD Mac and Dante question Montague about what happened and he tells them that Cody attacked him and stole his clothes. Dante shows him the pills that were found and the doctor claims to have never seen them before. He suggests that Cody is Sasha's dealer. When he leaves the room, Cody attacks him and has to be pulled off. Sasha is brought in and begs Dante not to send her back to Ferncliff but he has no choice. He promises it will only be for a little while. After they are gone, Cody begs Mac to investigate Gladys.

Dante wants to stay with Sasha at Ferncliff but they make him leave. Once she is alone she looks up at the window in her door and sees Montague staring back at her!
