Next month, fans of General Hospital can look forward to seeing a familiar face in Port Charles. Rena Sofer, a 54-year-old actress who won a Daytime Emmy for her portrayal of Lois Cerullo, will be returning to the beloved ABC soap opera after a hiatus of 26 years. Sofer's character was previously played by Daytime Emmy winner Lesli Kay from 2005 to 2005. Sofer has already taped her first scenes this week and will be on-air starting in October. The exclusive news was confirmed by the network to PEOPLE.
In 2022, Sofer wrapped a 9-year run on The Bold and the Beautiful as Quinn Fuller.
