Y&R Recap Today

Jack is pleased to hear from Ashley via a phone call. After ending the call, he tells Diane that his sister and Tucker have postponed their business plans due to their honeymoon. Jack is optimistic that the war between him and his family is over. However, Diane is skeptical and advises him to stay vigilant. Jack appreciates her concern but believes that the conflict is behind them. Unfortunately, he is worried about his brother Billy, who has become paranoid and is trying to take control of Jabot. Jack reassures Diane of his faith in her and the need for her support if things turn sour with Billy. If his brother continues to be confrontational, he might have to let him go, and Diane would need to step up. She suggests that Kyle should be the one to take over if that happens, but Jack is unsure.
Y&R Recap Today

Billy pays a visit to the Chancellor's residence to see Dominic, but unfortunately, he isn't there. Abby presumes that Billy came to inquire about her mother and informs him that her mother and Tucker are content on their honeymoon. Billy hopes that his siblings have resolved their issues. However, he can't stop worrying about Diane and her potential threat to Jabot. He elaborates on the post-nuptial agreement and how it was vague about Diane's role in Jabot. To counter this, he's crafting a bylaw to remove her from the board, which requires a majority vote. Abby cautions him that this may result in another conflict.

Billy asserts that he supports his brother but believes the company needs stability before Diane attempts to take his place. Abby concedes that her attitude towards Diane has softened, particularly since she saved her mother's life. Billy is surprised by this but doesn't believe that it proves anything. He maintains that his actions are solely to protect the company. Abby tells him that she won't be involved in this decision.Audra and Nate are having lunch at Society. Nate mentions that Audra should be happy about being demoted instead of losing her job. Audra confesses that she had to do some maneuvering to keep Nikki content. Nate asks how much Nikki knows about her and Kyle's relationship outside of the boardroom. Audra clarifies that Nikki knows everything, but she wouldn't jeopardize her career for a fling. Nate is relieved to hear this and advises her to focus her energy on work. He also warns her that Adam might seek revenge. Audra doesn't think Adam is a big deal. Nate encourages Audra to maintain her confidence and not risk losing it by getting involved with Kyle. Audra insists to Nate that Kyle is not significant in her life. They switch to discussing Nick and whether he poses a threat. Nate is confident that Victoria will always have his back. Audra doubts things will be as smooth as Nate thinks when Nick returns.

Abby runs into Kyle in the park and assumes that Kyle is still upset about his recent divorce, but Kyle tells her that he feels free and happy. Abby is skeptical of his positive attitude, but Kyle insists he has learned from his mistakes and walks off. Abby calls Jack and tells him that she feels Kyle is heading down a bad path.

Billy enters Jabot and starts arguing with Jack. They both want to resolve the issue, so Billy asks Diane to leave the room. Jack insists she can stay, but she steps out, noting that she has something she has to take care of anyway. Billy then proposes that the board stipulate what Diane can do, which offends Jack. Billy argues they need guidelines, as they do not know Diane's business acumen. Jack, however, trusts her with both his heart and his business. Billy takes this as a sign that Jack does not trust him. Billy leaves the room angrily, insisting that he is only trying to protect the company. Diane asks Billy if she has simply exchanged one enemy for another. Billy tells her he is not her enemy but is concerned about her position at the company. He knows how ambitious she is and is convinced Jack will give in to whatever she demands. Billy is the only one willing to take the necessary steps to protect the company.
Audra is at the park and decides to text Kyle. Meanwhile, Nate is lurking behind a pillar, unnoticed. Later, Kyle meets Audra at the park, discussing his recent meeting with Nikki. Although he's staying on at Newman, he still doesn't have a position yet. Audra reassures him that he's not going anywhere, and they agree to behave in public. However, as Kyle walks off after receiving a call from Jack, Nate emerges from hiding and confronts Audra. He tells her that he felt she was lying to him and that she's playing with fire by also lying to Nikki.
