Today on The Young and the Restless, Victor loses patience with Victoria’s insubordination, Nikki forces Audra to make a tough decision, and Lily presents Devon with a mystery.

Victor offers Lily some advice, telling her to remain patient as everything will be revealed in due time. He reminds her that he too, was once an anonymous investor and that she needs to trust him. When Lily asks how Victor became involved with the secret investor, he informs her that they approached him. Victoria enters the room and asks if she is interrupting anything. Victor assures her that Lily was just leaving and she thanks him before departing. Victoria inquires about the conversation and Victor dismisses it, stating that it does not concern her.
Later, Victoria discovers that her father once owned a portion of Chancellor-Winters but sold it. She becomes upset when she realizes that Victor has replaced her portrait with his own. Victor insists that it was nothing personal and that he had to intervene to fix the company's issues. Victoria accuses him of driving Nick away, and they argue about the company's future. Victor asserts that Newman is bigger than any one person's opinion, and if Victoria disagrees, she can leave. She claims that everything will fall apart without her, which enrages Victor.

Nikki enters and inquires about the situation. She recommends that everyone take a moment to relax. She reminds them that they don't need to resolve everything at this moment since the changes won't take effect for several weeks. In the meantime, she and Victor will be taking a vacation. Victor insists that the changes must take effect immediately. He asserts that it's his decision and there's nothing more to discuss. After he storms out, Nikki accuses her daughter of provoking him. Victoria expresses her frustration with his constant rule changes and how it only worsens things. She wonders how much longer she can ignore what's happening to him.

At Society, Jack instructs Diane to secure a table for them, as he needs to have a private conversation with Billy without causing a scene. When Diane questions his concerns, Jack shares that he fears Billy may have alerted Devon about their plans to pursue Tucker despite being warned against it. Jack emphasizes that Tucker is a significant threat, and they must uncover what he is up to without revealing their strategies. Jack approaches Devon and Billy, requesting to speak with Billy alone. As Devon is departing, Billy advises him to remain vigilant and protect his loved ones, as he senses a significant event involving Tucker is imminent.
Jack confronts Billy for going behind his back and creating conflict between Devon and his father. Jack reminds Billy that it's not their business and they shouldn't interfere. However, Billy refuses to apologize and insists that he is just trying to remind Devon of who his father is. Jack doubts that anything positive will come out of it. Billy disagrees and thinks it would be a good thing. The argument between Jack and Billy escalates until Diane intervenes and Billy leaves. Jack considers cutting ties with his brother while Billy goes to Jazz Lounge and orders a drink. As he drinks, he thinks back to his conversation with Jack and then texts Tucker, asking to meet up.
Lily expresses her gratitude to Devon for visiting her and he inquires about her meeting with Victor. She informs him that Victor is refusing to disclose the identity of the mystery investor. Devon speculates that Victor might be playing games with them. Lily expresses her discomfort with the situation, as she feels apprehensive about the possibility of not liking the investor enough to do business with them. When Devon asks if she has any leads on who the investor might be, she mentions Tucker as a possibility, although it is nothing but a hunch. Devon expresses his reluctance to believe that his father has betrayed him yet again. Lily shares the same sentiment and hopes that her suspicions are unfounded. Devon brings up Billy and their recent conversation about Tucker, where Billy expressed his grievances. Lily agrees that they need to uncover the identity of the mystery investor, as she dislikes being in the dark.

Kyle unexpectedly meets Audra and greets her warmly, expressing how much he misses her. They had just attended a staff meeting earlier, but it differed from their personal relationship. He suspects that Audra has been avoiding him lately and wonders if she changed her mind about their romantic affair. Suddenly, Nikki appears and is surprised to see them sitting together. She recalls her conversation with Kyle, where she cautioned him about Audra. Audra explains to Kyle that she has been busy with work at Newman Media, and it's not personal. Kyle admits to missing their time together, but Audra advises him to be patient as they'll work things out.
Nikki approaches them and says she noticed that Audra and Kyle seemed very close and wondered if they were discussing business or something more intimate. Audra assures Nikki they were talking about business, but she couldn't hear everything Kyle was saying, so she moved closer to listen. Kyle was bringing Audra up to speed on some new sites they wanted to acquire before Nikki took over. Nikki then asks Kyle to leave so she can speak with Audra privately about other business matters. Nikki expresses her concern about Audra and Kyle's interactions, pointing out that there is still an attraction between them. Audra assures Nikki that she respects her position and will not break any rules. However, Nikki suggests that it would be best to let Kyle go from Newman Media. Audra vouches for Kyle, promising that he will not be a problem, but Nikki is still worried. She knows that Audra and Kyle were still carrying on in secret, despite Nikki's previous request for their relationship to end. Audra insists that it is over, but Nikki can see the attraction in Kyle's eyes when he looks at Audra. Nikki warns Audra that this is her final chance and leaves her to inform Kyle of his termination, emphasizing that she must do so sooner rather than later.
As Kyle visits Society, memories of his secret meeting with Audra flood his mind. In the park, Audra reveals to Kyle that Nikki is aware of their secret rendezvous. Despite Kyle's suggestion to continue seeing each other discreetly, Audra insists that it's too late for that. She discloses that Nikki has instructed her to terminate Kyle's employment, and despite Audra's efforts to persuade her otherwise, her decision remains final. With regret, Audra ends their relationship and departs. Kyle heads to the bar where he encounters Victor. Kyle shares that he has been fired and offers to buy Victor a drink. However, Victor rebuffs him, stating that as an Abbot, Kyle never truly belonged at Newman and never will.
