Today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Sheila's first day at work takes an unexpected turn and more... (Spoilers recap for October 19, 2023)
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Thursday, October 19, 2023:
Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, Hope gives Deacon an ultimatum during a difficult conversation about Sheila.

Brooke and Hope meet for a budgetary meeting at Forrester Creations. During their conversation, Brooke expresses her concerns about Hope's relationship with Thomas. However, Hope quickly changes the subject to something more important Deacon and Sheila. This worries Brooke and she describes it as a nightmare. Later, Carter arrives and says he just talked to Ridge and is stunned to hear about Sheila and Deacon. He notes that Ridge did fill him in about them a while back and shares his fear that Deacon would have gotten involved with Sheila again. Hope feels betrayed by her father, but she also knows that he loves her and can use this to their advantage. She decides to talk to him and try to get through to him, but Brooke urges her to be careful.
B&B Recap Today
Sheila shows off her new attire to Deacon. He reminds her that it's a big day for her as she starts working at Il Giardino, which has become a big part of his life. Deacon advises her to stop obsessing over Finn and give him time and space instead. He emphasizes how much he has put on the line for her and tells her that everything will come together if she stays out of Finn and Steffy's life. Sheila promises that she would never do anything to hurt Finn and his family. Deacon assures her that he can give her all the love she needs and that he is putting everything on the line for her. He tells her that if she truly loves him as she says she does, then she will have no communication with Finn and Steffy. Sheila leaves for work, determined not to be late on her first day.
B&B Recap Today
Finn calls Steffy and leaves her a voicemail. While he is on the phone, Li walks in and comments that it's good Finn is focusing on his family. Li suggests that it's time to bring Steffy, Kelly and Hayes back home. Finn agrees, but adds that Steffy is still worried about Sheila. Li questions if something else has happened and Finn reveals that Deacon and Sheila are in a relationship. Li responds by saying that Deacon is just as crazy as Sheila if he thinks he can control her. However, Finn believes that ultimately Sheila just wants to be loved, so maybe Deacon's love can be enough for her. He explains that Steffy won't come back unless she is sure that Sheila is not a threat, so if Deacon can control her, then maybe this is the answer. Finn also mentions that Sheila is working at Il Giardino as part of her rehabilitation. Li exclaims that Sheila should be locked up and wonders if there is a way to get her locked up again. After their conversation, Li leaves.
Sheila arrives at work and talks with Hollis. Li comes in and takes a seat, using the menu to hide her face. Sheila walks over and, not realizing who is behind the menu, introduces herself and offers to start with some sparkling water. Li removes the menu and calls Sheila a despicable and diabolic creature who makes her sick to her stomach. Sheila suggests they could go with bubbles because that will settle Li's tummy. However, Li takes a sip and spitefully lets the glass drop to the ground. Sheila apologizes and promises to clean it up. She also assures Li that she has changed and will never go back to prison. Hollis arrives with the Bolognese, but Li says she didn't order anything. Sheila notes that she took it upon herself to order for everyone. Li claims that there is something in her sauce, but Sheila says she doesn't see anything. Li tells her to look closer, and as she does, Li laughs and pushes Sheila's head into the plate of Bolognese.
As Deacon is preparing to leave, Hope shows up and he informs her that Sheila is currently at work at Il Giardino. Hope questions whether he's willing to lose her as a daughter. Deacon pleads with her not to lose faith in him. She's doing everything she can to hold onto everything they've built over the years and asks if his family isn't worth fighting for. Hope tells him that she would never have invited him to Beth's birthday if she had known he was involved with Sheila. She begs him to choose her and his family and put an end to this mess with Sheila today.
