B&B Recap October 20, 2023: Liam Snitches on Finn

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Friday, October 20, 2023: 

Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, Thomas assures Hope of his unwavering love. Hoping that her nemesis will lash out, Li taunts Sheila at Il Giardino.

B&B Recap Today

Deacon pleads with Hope to listen to him and tells her that he loves her. But Hope tells him that he cannot love both her and Sheila, as it hurts her. She warns him that Sheila is toxic and will destroy whatever relationship they have. Hope begs Deacon to put an end to this and choose her over Sheila. Deacon says it kills him to see his daughter in pain, but he can't help the way he feels for Sheila. Hope maintains that Sheila is not capable of change, and she is not even capable of love. She is dangerous and has caused too much pain in the past. Deacon is confused and doesn't know why he and Sheila click, but they just do. Hollis arrives and tells Deacon that there is a situation at the restaurant that needs his immediate attention. Deacon begs Hope not to lose faith in him as he leaves to handle the situation.

B&B Recap Today

At Il Giardino, Sheila questions Li about pushing her face in her plate. Sheila questions Li if this is another attempt to provoke her, to which Li tells her that it's she should be locked away in prison. Li also comments that the sauce is bitter, just like Sheila. Sheila looks at the knife and clenches her fist, but she tells Li that she won't fall for her bait. She apologizes for disappointing her but clarifies that she won't do anything that will land her back in jail. Deacon then arrives, and Sheila tells him about what happened. Li admits that she doesn't know Deacon well, but she thinks he must be crazy to be involved with someone as heinous as Sheila.

B&B Recap Today

At the office, Liam comes looking for Hope but finds Thomas instead. Liam leaves what he brought for Beth on the desk and mentions that he saw Hope the other day, who told him about Deacon and Sheila. Thomas notes that Finn has made mistakes in his handling of Sheila, and Liam says that Finn should have cut all ties with her from the beginning. Liam is upset that Steffy left town and says he wants her back. Thomas reminds Liam of what he did to Hope and questions how he will protect Steffy. Liam then leaves to go talk to Finn. Hope arrives and tells Thomas about her talk with Deacon. She kisses him but admits that she is still processing the end of her marriage and her family. Thomas tells her that he will always love her.

Ridge pays a visit to Finn at the hospital, and they begin to talk about Sheila and Deacon's newfound happiness. Ridge questions Finn about how much he has told Steffy about the situation, to which Finn admits that he hasn't told her yet. Ridge advises Finn to be honest with Steffy and tell her everything. Later, Liam shows up and wants to know what Finn plans to do about Deacon and Sheila being together. Liam is surprised to learn that Steffy is still unaware of the situation. Liam expresses his concern that Finn might not be able to keep Steffy safe from Sheila's manipulations. Finn is quick to defend himself and warns Liam to stay out of his business and away from his wife. After Finn leaves, Liam calls Steffy and leaves a message, informing her about Deacon and Sheila's relationship and that Finn has been keeping it a secret. Liam tries to convince Steffy to come back to him, stating that he is the only one who can keep her safe. He even goes as far as to say to himself, that they were married once and they can do it again.
