The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Friday, October 6, 2023


Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, Hope reflects on Finn's advice regarding Thomas. Deacon makes a hefty promise to Shelia.


B&B Recap Today


Hope expresses her apologies to Finn for becoming emotional, but he kindly reassures her that there is no need to apologize. Finn believes that Hope can find someone better than Thomas and that she turned to him because he is devoted solely to her. Hope assures Finn that Steffy understands the importance of their love. Finn believes that Hope deserves a partner who will love her unconditionally, and he doesn't believe that person is Thomas. Although Thomas may have changed, Finn thinks that Hope is an amazing individual who deserves the best. Hope expresses gratitude to Finn for their conversation and believes that they had a positive discussion. 



B&B Recap Today



Deacon and Sheila celebrate their engagement by raising a toast with champagne and sharing a laugh. Sheila explains to Deacon why she didn't accept his proposal right away. It's important to her that he sees her as a changed person and she hopes that others, like Finn, will see it too. Sheila believes this engagement will prove to people that she is not incapable of love. As her fiancé, Deacon promises to do everything he can to make that happen.


Finn meets Deacon at the restaurant to discuss Steffy leaving due to Sheila's presence. Deacon offers to assist in resolving the situation and safeguarding Steffy from Sheila. Finn is curious about Deacon's plan. Sheila enters the restaurant and greets Finn. She sits down next to Deacon and holds his hands, revealing their relationship to Finn. Sheila expresses her happiness and hopes Finn can share in her joy.


B&B Recap Today



Carter and Ridge are discussing the future plans for Forrester. Eric and Donna make an entrance, and Eric notices the expression in Ridge's eyes. Eric wonders if Ridge's designs can compete with his own. However, Donna assures Eric that he has nothing to worry about and that he will come out on top. Eric tries to conceal his tremors, but they persist. Nonetheless, he expresses his excitement about being back in his office. Donna suggests that they should leave, and Ridge expresses his concern for Eric's well-being.




Eric is at home and trying to take his pills. Donna is there to assist him and he expresses gratitude towards her. She takes his hands and places them around her waist, telling him that's where they belong. She reassures him that they will find him the best help and nothing will stop him from achieving it. Eric starts coughing and Donna expresses concern, but he insists that it's nothing. He embraces her tightly and notices blood on his hands.

B&B Recap Today




RJ sketches a design, but his thoughts keep lingering on Eric. He informs Luna that he has spoken to Donna, who revealed that his grandfather's condition is worse than he anticipated. Luna expresses her sympathy towards this news. RJ's grandfather hasn't received a formal diagnosis yet. Luna encourages RJ to remain optimistic. She also acknowledges how fortunate she feels to have the chance to work with RJ at Forrester.






Luna receives a call from her mother, Poppy, but she is busy at the moment and tells her that it's not a good time. However, Poppy insists that Luna should leave Los Angeles immediately and return home. She advises Luna to stay away from Forrester Creations and warns her about how her sister, Li, would react if she found out. Luna disregards her mother's concerns and tells her that she is pursuing her dreams. Poppy cautions Luna that it's only a matter of time before her secret is exposed, and everything will come crashing down. Luna becomes emotional and ends the call in tears.
