Days of Our Lives Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for Monday, October 23, 2023: Xander is Victor's Son




Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on Monday, October 23, 2023: Theresa gets an unpleasant surprise. Xander confronts Alex. Konstantin ups his game with Maggie. Sloan sneaks into the DiMera mansion. Marlena provides input on Eric’s romance.




Days of Our Lives Episode Recap Monday, October 23, 2023: Xander is Victor's Son





Theresa is surprised when Konstantin knocks on her hotel room door. She lets him and demands to know what he is doing there. He tells her that he is staying with Maggie and spending time with her. Theresa remembers Konstantin showing up at Alex's hotel room in Greece while she was reading Victor's will. He was upset that he wasn't named in the will after his father provided Victor the money to start his empire. 





Konstantin tells her that he was the one who talked Victor into writing a new will, hoping he would leave him something. He finds the letter naming Victor's son and they read it together, both of them shocked that it's Xander! Theresa gets the idea to change the letter and Konstantin tells her that he can take care of the forgery. 




Theresa tells Konstantin that after he left the hotel room and Brady and Alex came back, she set up the fight with Brady in front of Alex, knowing what would happen and now she is moving in with Alex. She tells him that she's not sure how long it will take before she can get his payment to him and Konstantin tells her that he will just have to find a way to stay in Salem longer. 




Days Recap Today




Alex is at home and there is a knock at the door. He thinks that it's Theresa but it's actually Xander. Alex asks what he wants and Xander tells him to resign from Titan and give Maggie her job back. Alex tells him that's not going to happen and they argue about what Victor wanted. Finally, Alex tells Xander that he is Victor's son so he is the only one who gets to decide. Theresa gets there and Xander is surprised to find out that she is moving in. He makes a crack about her being after Alex's money before he leaves. Alex tells her to ignore Xander because he's just jealous that all of this isn't happening to him. 



Days Recap Today



Eric and Sloan talk about how happy they are that they will soon be parents. He tells her about his trip to the hospital and that he saw Nicole there. Sloan isn't happy but Eric tells her that she was just there to pick up her prescription. She panics when he mentions that she was also getting another copy of her genetic test results. Sloan makes up an excuse to leave, telling Eric she has to help a client with a bail hearing and will be back soon. Marlena gets there and she and Eric talk. She tells him that she supports his decisions and how happy she is that he will finally be a father.




Days Recap Today



EJ is on the phone and about to write on the envelope with the test results when Nicole stops him. She tells him what is in the envelope and he teases her about losing the other copy. EJ wants to open the envelope and read the paper again but gets interrupted by a phone call. Sloan watches from the back door, waiting for an opportunity to switch the envelopes. Nicole goes to check on Holly and EJ leaves to open the door when the bell rings. Sloan slips in and thinks she switched the envelopes but accidentally leaves the correct one behind and takes the fake one with her. EJ has to return another call so he puts the real envelope in the wall safe and locks it.



Days Recap Today


Brady surprises Maggie with a visit at home. He tells her that he heard about Victor's old friend visiting and she tells him how nice it has been to have Konstantin there. She tells him about the things they have been doing together and shows him the photo album he brought for her. Brady is happy that she isn't alone and that something is making her smile. After he leaves, Konstantin gets back with flowers for Maggie. He tells her that the time has come for him to leave but she insists that he stay with them longer. 



Days Recap Today



Sloan gets home to find Eric and Marlena talking. Marlena tells her that Eric told her all the exciting things coming up and how happy she is for them. She tells Sloan that they will plan dinner soon and then Eric walks her out. Once they are gone, Sloan shreds the envelope, unaware that it is the wrong one.
