Days of Our Lives Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for Wednesday, October 25, 2023: A Trap Is Set For Kristen




Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on Wednesday, October 25, 2023: Gabi and Stefan take action after learning EJ’s plan. Kristen rebuffs Marlena. Leo and Dimitri go on the run. Harris is concerned about Ava’s new entanglement.




Days of Our Lives Episode Recap Wednesday, October 25, 2023: A Trap Is Set For Kristen



Kristen asks Gabi if she's seen Rachel and tells her she was looking for her to say goodbye before she leaves for lunch with EJ. Gabi is dismayed to hear that EJ and Kristen are getting closer. Downstairs Stefan plays 20 Questions with Rachel and pretends that she wins. He tells her that he found a way for her to win Taylor Swift tickets.




Stefan tells Rachel that she has to enter a costume contest and assures her that Gabi will help her with a winning idea. After Kristen leaves Gabi tells Stefan that they have to step up their plan. Rachel comes back into the room and Stefan leaves her and Gabi to put together her costume for the contest. Gabi does Rachel's make-up and tells her that it's perfect. She hands her a mirror and we see Gabi has used make-up to give her a black eye and cut lip. Gabi uses her phone to record Rachel saying that Kristen gave her the injuries after tricking her into thinking she is saying something else.



Days Recap Today



Brady unpacks his To-Go order from the Pub and is disappointed that his order is wrong. He thinks Tate is messing up orders on purpose to try and get fired but Marlena isn't sure. She thinks it's good that Brady is holding him accountable but tells Brady that everyone deserves some grace. He admits that he may be overparenting Tate to make up for not being able to parent Rachel but tells Marlena that could be changing because he has a chance at getting custody back. 




Brady tells Marlena about Gabi's offer to help him and she's skeptical of it working. She wonders if Gabi and Stefan have an ulterior motive but Brady doesn't care. All he wants is his daughter back. Marlena wonders if they are doing something illegal and Brady tells her that he doesn't care. He says that Kristen plays dirty and he has to do the same if he wants to fight her. Marlena questions if there is some way that he and Kristen can find a way to co-parent but Brady shuts her down. 




Stefan shows up after Marlena leaves and he tells Brady that he needs to make sure he is in on the plan and Brady tells him that he is. They bury their old grudge and Brady asks Stefan what he needs him to do. Stefan tells him to intercept Kristen on her way to the Bistro and pick a fight with her. Brady tells him that's no problem and promises he can pull it off. 




Kristen is leaving the mansion and remembers her conversation with Brady in the courtroom after she got custody. Marlena approaches her and says she has a Halloween goody bag for Rachel and she would like to give it to her personally. Kristen doesn't allow it and walks away. 



Days Recap Today



Ava and Gil are arguing in the Square when Harris and Jada approach them. Harris asks if anything is wrong and Ava tells him that she's fine. He asks about the guy she is with and Ava tells him that Gil is the new owner of the Bistro and her new boss. Harris congratulates her and Gil is surprised to find out that he and Jada are cops. He tells them that he was just about to give Ava a tour of the kitchen and ushers her away quickly while Harris watches suspiciously. 




After they leave Harris tells Jada that something seems off about the guy and asks what she thinks. Jada thinks he may be being overprotective of Ava and he admits that he could be. Inside the Bistro Gil questions Ava's relationship with Harris and she tells him that they are close and it would be suspicious if she cut ties with him right now. She tells Gil that if he wants her then he's stuck with Harris too. Gil thinks about it and decides that her connection to Harris can help them get information about the Salem PD and if they are looking into their drug operation. 



Days Recap Today



Dimitri assures Leo that his costume idea is a great plan and tells him that he has an out if he wants one. He tells him that he needs to be sure that he wants to do this because it could be his last chance to change his mind. Leo tells him that he is sure but Dimitri wants to pause and talk it out. Leo tells him that he loves him and wants to be with him no matter what it takes. 




Dimitri and Leo sneak past Harris and Jada in the Square and make it into Leo's room at the Salem Inn. They find the money and Leo packs the things he wants to take. Harris and Jada get the room to remove the crime scene tape and find it's been tampered with. When they go in, Leo and Dimitri are already gone. Harris remembers seeing the ghosts and they try to chase them down but when they catch the ghosts it is other people under the sheets. Dimitri and Leo make it back to their motel and celebrate their victory by making love.



Days Recap Today


Brady approaches Kristen outside of the Bistro and picks a fight with her about Rachel's math grades and the tutor she got for her. He berates her for making Rachel do extra math worksheets and Kristen tries to explain to him that she did it as a consequence of not doing her homework. Brady goads her until she says that she will discipline their daughter how she sees fit. She doesn't notice Stefan recording her from across the Square.
