Days of Our Lives Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for Thursday, October 26, 2023: Konstantin Has a Gift for Maggie




Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on Thursday, October 26, 2023: Steve puts pressure on Chad. Maggie is furious with Xander’s actions. Sarah laments to Konstantin about the custody battle. Theresa discovers Alex covered in blood.




Days of Our Lives Episode Recap Thursday, October 26, 2023: Konstantin Has a Gift for Maggie




Xander is on the phone with Sloan, talking about the custody case when Maggie knocks on his door. He is happy to see her but she is there to blast him for going for full custody of Victoria. He reminds her that Sarah lied to him about being the baby's father and points out that Maggie lied to him too. Maggie apologizes for not telling him and tells him that she tried to get Sarah too but that she is Sarah's mother and had to respect her decision. 




Xander understands and apologizes for getting upset with her, especially now. Maggie tells him that it has been hard but that Konstantin has been a comfort to her. Xander is happy that she has that but tells her that Konstantin doesn't like him. He reminds Maggie that he is there for her too and they hug. Before she leaves, Maggie tells him that for the baby's sake, she hopes that he and Sarah can work things out.



Days Recap Today


Konstantin is on the phone with Theresa when Sarah comes in and hears him mention Xander. He quickly hangs up and turns on the charm with Sarah, praising her and the baby. She asks him about what he was talking about on the phone and he lies and tells her that he was telling someone back in Greece the latest bad thing that Xander had done since they all knew his reputation and didn't like him. 




They talk about the custody case and what led to it and Konstantin tells her that he supports her completely. Sarh tells him that she is trying to look like the perfect parent for her daughter and she knows how to do that. She has an appointment so she wants to go find the nanny to put Victoria down for her nap but Konstantin offers to take her upstairs himself. Sarah thanks him and hands over the baby before leaving. After she is gone Konstantin tells Victoria that her namesake is a son of a bitch and he intends to get all of his money.




Maggies gets home and Konstantin gives her a portrait of Victor that he had commissioned. Maggie is moved to tears and loves it. Konstantin hangs it above the mantle for her. Maggie excuses herself to fix her makeup and Konstantin tells the portrait of Victor that he is going to take all of his wife's money.



Days Recap Today



Chad is dressed like a vampire and working while Stephanie finishes putting her Halloween costume on. When she comes out he is shocked to see her dressed in the same costume that Abigail wore on the last Halloween they spent together. Stephanie can tell that there is something off and pushes him to tell her what's wrong. He tells her the truth and she tells him that she is going to change. Chad tells her that she doesn't have to do that and she looks beautiful but Stephanie doesn't want to risk upsetting the kids so she goes to change.



Days Recap Today



Marlena, Steve, and Kayla are putting together Halloween goodie bags at the Pub when Kate comes in with Charlotte and Thomas who are dressed in their costumes. They tell them how great they look and give them bags before Kayla pulls Steve aside and tells him to leave Chad alone about marrying Stephanie. She tells him about the conversation Chad and Stephanie had about it before Chad and Stephanie come into the Pub. Everyone asks why Stephanie isn't in costume and she tells them that it didn't fit. Kayla leaves and Steve asks Chad if they can talk alone.




Steve tells Chad that he heard about his and Stephanie's talk about marriage. Chad tells him that he and Stephanie are on the same page but Steve tells him that he is wrong. He tells Chad that if he isn't going to marry Stephanie then he needs to end it for her sake and the sake of his kids. Stephanie comes over and asks if everything is okay and Steve tells her that it is before he and Marlena leave. 



After they are gone, Chad asks Kate to watch the kids so he can talk to Stephanie alone. Kate brings them in the back and Stephanie asks what's going on. Chad tells her that he has to ask her something and he needs her to be honest with him. He asks if she meant it when she said she didn't want to get married right now.



Days Recap Today



Sarah meets with Kayla in her office at the hospital and tells her about the custody case. She tells Kayla that she thinks it will look better in court if she has a job and asks if there are any openings. Kayla questions if Sarah is really ready to come back to work since she just had the baby but Sarah feels she has no choice. Kayla tells her about a part-time position that just opened up and Sarah takes it, very thankful to Kayla for helping her. After Sarah leaves, Steve shows up and tells Kayla that he did something that could hurt Stephanie's relationship with Chad.



Days Recap Today


Theresa is alarmed when she sees Alex run into the park with what looks like blood all over his shirt. She thinks he is injured but he tells her that he's fine. He explains that protesting environmental activists threw it on him and says that he needs to go home and shower. He asks her to join him but she tells him that she wants to take it slow since they are roommates now. They agree to meet for lunch and he goes home to shower alone.



They meet in the Square and are flirting when Xander approaches and tells Alex that he is making a mistake being anywhere near Theresa. Xander says that the only thing she wants is his money. Theresa and Xander argue and Alex makes it clear that Xander's opinion doesn't matter to him. Xander wishes him luck before walking away and running into Sarah. He tries to talk to her about custody of the baby but she refuses and tells him that she will see him in court before walking away. 



Back at the table, Alex tells Theresa that Xander is just jealous that he is Victor's heir and not Xander. Theresa agrees before gulping down her tea.
