General Hospital Recap October 11, 2023: Lois and Eddie Come Face-to-Face

General Hospital Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for October 11, 2023: 

Spoilers for General Hospital on October 11, 2023: Stella acclimates Felicia; Lois returns; Trina catches up with Curtis and Marshall; Elizabeth makes a confession; and Spencer gets an update on Nikolas.




GH Recap Today

Stella offers Felicia some guidance on how to stay in good terms with all the nurses. Felicia expresses her gratitude towards Stella for the help and support she has received from her in the past week. Stella believes that Felicia will be a great addition to the staff. Felicia confesses that she is feeling a bit overwhelmed. She admires how efficiently Stella performs her job, and Stella suggests that they visit Pediatrics next. During their tour, Portia interrupts them and informs Stella that Dr. Randolph has offered her the position of co-chief of staff. Portia says she has not accepted the position yet because it would entail more work. Although she initially turned down the offer, she now thinks she may want it because it could help with a little extra money, given everything going on with Curtis. Stella advises Portia to accept the job. Later, Stella tells Felicia that she is a quick learner, and Felicia compliments her for being a great mentor. Stella says she still has some paperwork to catch up on, and Felicia mentions that she is starting at GH next week and hopes she will be prepared. Stella assures her that she will be available whenever Felicia needs her.




GH Recap Today

Finn meets Liz at the hospital and asks her how her day is going. He tells her he has a lot going on and needs to check on Chase, who has not been answering his calls. Liz wishes him good luck. Finn then asks Liz if she would like to have dinner with him tonight. She agrees and suggests that he and Violet come over and they do something later. Finn doesn't think it will be as fun as what they had last night in the locker room. Terry walks in and Liz asks if she has had any luck finding a co-chief of staff. Terry replies that she hasn't found one yet. She is too busy trying to find out who was in the staff locker room having sex in showers. Terry mentions that Amy is someone who likes to share information. Liz responds by saying that Amy tends to make assumptions. Terry suggests that the information shared by Amy might not be true. However, Liz confirms that it is true and that it was her but she and Finn only kissed. As Liz walks away, Terry becomes more curious and chases after her to find out more about the situation. Just then, Yuri arrives, followed by Portia, who requests to speak with Terry regarding something important. As Liz and Yuri leave, Portia informs Terry that she has a change of heart and is officially accepting the job offer to become co-chief of staff. Terry asks if she is sure and she replies affirmatively, after which they shake hands, sealing the deal to become partners.

Laura and Kevin return to Port Charles, and they are both excited to be back home. She tells him about the bottle of red wine in the kitchen that they can use to decompress after their search for Nikolas. As they enter the house, they notice Ace on the floor playing with his toys. Laura asks where his mother is and Esme walks in, relieved to see that Laura and Kevin are back. Esme explains that Ace has been teething and keeping her up at night, causing her to miss work. She is exhausted from taking care of him. Laura assures Esme that they are there now, and asks about Spencer's whereabouts. Esme informs Laura that he went away with Trina. Laura is happy to be back home and spend some quality time with her grandson, Ace. 

After returning home, Spencer expresses his happiness to see his grandmother and gifts Ace a stuffed toy as a present. He then shares his exciting trip to New York with them. Esme returns and sees that Spencer is back. Laura observes that Ace seems tired, and Esme offers to put him to bed. Spencer offers to help, and they both leave with Ace. Laura confides in Kevin that she is relieved to see Esme and Spencer getting along, but Kevin warns her that Esme is isolated and has no friends, which might lead to conflicts. When Spencer and Esme return, he asks Laura why she came back and if she had given up on finding Nikolas. Kevin informs Spencer that his grandmother refuses to give up and has an update that Nikolas is alive. Spencer is not willing to talk more about his father, so Kevin and Esme excuse themselves, leaving Laura and Spencer alone to catch up. Spencer is emotional as he recalls how his father left them and expresses his unwillingness to come back. Laura remains optimistic that Nikolas will realize his mistake and return to them. However, Spencer wishes that his father never come back. Laura is not convinced that he means what he says. As Spencer goes to check on Ace, Laura calls Valentin to inform him of her return to Port Charles and to find out what is happening with Charlotte.

GH Recap Today

Spencer and Trina return from their weekend trip. Spencer offers to bring Trina's suitcases in, but she declines and says she can do it herself. Trina thanks Spencer for the fantastic weekend and he admits that he misses Ace, but he is also sad to see their New York weekend come to an end. They both agree that the weekend was perfect and share a kiss before Spencer leaves. He apologizes for having to go and promises to text or call Trina. Trina goes inside and is greeted by Curtis, who asks how her trip was. Trina tells him that it was amazing and Spencer thought of everything, from the Moulin Rouge show to their dinner. Curtis is happy to hear that Trina had a great time.

She tells him that she got him a gift and hands him two hats because she knows he loves basketball, even though he cannot play now. She feels guilty for being happy when he is facing such a big challenge, but he is determined to not let it stop him. What makes him happy is seeing her live her life, and he knows that she loves him. Marshall comes over and asks Trina if the Cassadine boy treated her well. She says yes, they had a great trip. He notices that she's wearing a new necklace, and Trina says that Spencer gave it to her so that she always has something to remember their trip together. Marshall also notices the hats that Trina gave Curtis and picks one. Trina leaves to get some schoolwork done. Marshall asks Curtis if he thinks the Cassadine boy is good enough for Trina. Curtis says that he doesn't think he can tell his daughter what to do or who to be with.

Brook Lynn arrives at the Q mansion and asks Yuri about the whereabouts of her grandmother. Tracy comes out and asks what the matter is. Brook Lynn confronts Tracy about revealing to Chase that his father has ALS. Tracy claims that it was an honest mistake and she was not aware of the sensitive nature of the information and the fact that Chase didn't know. Just then, the doorbell rings, and Brook Lynn answers it to find Lois standing outside. Lois expresses her concern for Brook Lynn's well-being after reading an article about her being dumped by Deception. Brook Lynn confesses that she deserved it because Tracy manipulated her into corporate espionage.

Gregory pays an emotional visit to Chase, confessing his deep love for him. They hug it out and Gregory acknowledges his mistake of not informing Chase about his diagnosis earlier, admitting that he originally intended to do so. Gregory apologizes for keeping the truth from Chase, citing his inability to handle the situation. Chase reassures his father that it's okay. Later on, Finn visits Chase and finds his father there. Finn offers to leave if they need some privacy, but his brother advises him to stay. The brothers exchange apologies and Gregory is grateful to have two wonderful sons. He explains that even though he still has good days, his symptoms are increasing at this stage of the disease. When asked how they can help, Gregory expresses his wish for a cure, but acknowledges that there isn't one. The family agrees to spend as much time as possible together and to love each other. They hold hands and declare their love for one another. Gregory concludes by saying that he is a lucky man.. 

Eddie has a dream where he is performing naked on stage. Olivia enters the room and apologizes for waking him up. Eddie shares his frustration of having this same dream repeatedly. Olivia suggests that it might be worth talking to someone about it, like Kevin, as it could be his subconscious trying to convey something to him. However, Eddie disagrees. As Olivia greets Lois with excitement, Ned and Tracy overhear and he inquires about what's happening. Tracy informs him about the Bensonhurst invasion and invites Eddie to come along and see for himself.

Brook Lynn fills Lois in on how Tracy blackmailed her, threatening to make trouble with Chase. Lois doesn't think Tracy has ever stooped so low. Olivia is excited to see Lois and tells her that she looks amazing. Lois admits she had no plans to be in Port Charles, but she saw that her little girl was in need and she had to be here for her. Regarding her accommodation, Lois plans to stay at the Metro Court. However, Brook Lynn suggests that she should stay at the Q mansion because Tracy would love to have her there. Although Lois is initially unsure about it, she eventually agrees to stay at the mansion after much persuasion. Lois asks about Ned; if he still thinks he's Eddie Maine. Later, Olivia and Lois reminisce about their past. Suddenly, Eddie enters and recognizes Lois. He says that he knows her from somewhere, but Lois identifies herself as Brook Lynn's mother and his ex-wife. But, he thinks he knows her from somewhere leaving a stunned look on everyone's faces.
