General Hospital Episode Recap and Spoilers for Monday, October 30, 2023:
Spoilers for General Hospital on October 30, 2023: Laura and Ava catch up. Austin drowns his sorrows. Sonny has a warm reunion. Liz and Finn get closer. Olivia defends Eddie.

TJ arrives at Charlie's and takes a seat next to Austin. Austin offers to buy TJ a drink, but TJ declines, saying that he came to talk about his cousin, Mason. Austin responds with indifference, saying that he doesn't care about his cousin. However, Austin expresses gratitude towards TJ for preventing him from committing a serious crime and throwing away his entire life. TJ asks Austin if he knows what his cousin did to him. Austin had no idea, but apologizes on his behalf. TJ also wonders what could have driven Austin to smother his own cousin.
Tracy believes that Brook Lynn is avoiding her, but Brook Lynn denies it. She informs her grandmother that she has no interest in being a part of her future plans. Tracy warns her that she will eventually need her help and they will discuss her future at Deception. Ned suggests that Tracy offer the company to Brook Lynn, and if she declines to accept it then leave it alone. Tracy pleads with Eddie, but Olivia enters and implores her not to pressure Eddie. Tracy blames Olivia for her son's current troubles. Tracy angrily storms out after suggesting that Olivia's husband should be committed to get help, unless she is starting to prefer Eddie over Ned. However, Olivia refuses to force her husband into anything he doesn't want to do. She tells Tracy that she will not have him committed and if he chooses to be Eddie Maine for the rest of their life, she will make peace with it. Eddie thanks Olivia for standing up to Tracy. Olivia admits that she will always miss her husband, but she will never force him to do something he doesn't want to do.

Blaze catches up with Kristina and admits to being there to sign a contract with Brook Lynn for music management. While Blaze is there, she receives a text from Lucy, and Sasha comes in. Blaze mentions that Sasha is the woman she would replace if she accepted Lucy's offer. Kristina introduces Blaze to Sam and Sasha, and Blaze leaves to attend to something important. Later, Cody and Dante arrive and apologize for being late. They all sit down, chat, and celebrate a new beginning as friends.
Martin and Lucy are waiting for Blaze. Lucy is worried about how she will break the news to Blaze that she is retracting her offer. Finally, Blaze arrives, and Lucy introduces her to Martin. Without wasting any time, Blaze informs Lucy that she cannot accept the offer to become the new face of Deception. Lucy begins to wonder if Sasha would be willing to take on the role once again. However, Lucy decides that she will not let this go and plans to show Tracy exactly who she is dealing with. She kisses Martin and runs out of the room.
Blaze goes back to Charlie's to meet Brook Lynn. Kristina leaves to give them some privacy and Brook Lynn presents the official contract, saying "Let's get down to business". Brook Lynn encourages Blaze to read the contract carefully before signing it. Just as Blaze is about to sign, Brook Lynn asks Kristina to be their witness. After Blaze signs, they celebrate and raise a toast to making beautiful music together.

Lois and Sonny reconnect after a long time. Lois tells Sonny that she returned to town to check on Brook Lynn, who she was concerned about. They catch up on old times, and Lois brings up Sonny's elopement. She wonders how Carly is taking it. Lois updates Sonny about her life in Bensonhurst, and he's happy to hear that nothing has changed. Sonny then asks Lois if she's seen Eddie. Lois confirms that she has, and something seems off about him. Sonny then shows Lois pictures of his grandkids, and she can't wait until Brook Lynn has kids. She thinks Chase is a good guy, and they will have good kids. Lois asks Sonny about the feds calling him in last month, and he tells her that it was a simple case of mistaken identity. After Lois makes him a meal, he tells her how happy he is to have her back in town.
Ava greets Laura warmly as she returns to town. Laura brings up Ava's kidnapping and expresses her happiness at her being rescued. Ava responds by telling her that she is trying to focus on getting her life back to normal. Laura gives Ava an update on Nikolas, but Ava assumes that she wasn't able to find anything useful during her search. To Ava's surprise, Laura has news that Nikolas is alive and living somewhere in Europe. This revelation leaves Ava in shock. Laura suggests that maybe Nikolas will come back to Ava in time, but Ava is doubtful as she doesn't think Nikolas ever really loved her. After Laura leaves, Ava calls Austin and asks him to come to her gallery immediately. When Austin arrives, he compliments Ava on her beauty, but Ava quickly gets to the point and reveals that she just found out Nikolas is alive. She asks Austin if he knew about it, but he lies and denies any knowledge of Nikolas being alive. Ava admits that what really scares her is that she wants to believe Austin, even though she has her doubts.
Elizabeth checks in to see what's going on at home. Finn returns and notes that he also checked in, hoping to spend the night alone with her. As they sit on the couch, Elizabeth compliments Finn, but he doesn't want to hear anymore and decides to kiss her to silence her. Elizabeth notes that her plan was successful, and the kiss eventually lead to them making love. Afterward, Elizabeth tells Finn that the experience was magical and thanks him for planning such a beautiful trip.
Martin and Laura reunite. Martin is overjoyed to see her and Laura apologizes for not reaching out sooner. She asks him what they are going to do about their eccentric brother. Laura still considers their brother as shrewd as he ever was.
TJ pays a visit to Mason's hospital room. Mason wonders if TJ is there to finish what Austin started. To this, TJ replies that he is a doctor and that he took an oath to save lives. TJ also admits that the reason he stopped Austin is because he believes that Mason was let off too easily. He expresses his desire to see Mason locked up forever.
Lucy meets with Tracy and informs her that Sasha will continue to be the face of Deception. Lucy advises Tracy that it is the last decision she gets to make for her company.
