General Hospital Episode Recap and Spoilers for Tuesday, October 31, 2023:
Spoilers for General Hospital on October 31, 2023: Trina has a nightmare. Anna makes a move. Laura seeks Sonny’s help. Cyrus pays an unwanted visit. Valentin and Charlotte strike a deal.
GH Recap Today
Trina has a scary nightmare about Cyrus taking her hostage. Upon waking up, Josslyn notices that Trina is distressed and asks if she is okay. Trina explains that she had the worst nightmare. Adam arrives and inquires if they are alright. As they tell him that they are fine, he suggests that he will see Josslyn later. After he leaves, Josslyn inquires about Trina's bad dream. She explains that her dream was caused by Cyrus' visit to the art gallery yesterday. Josslyn suggests that she can speak to Sonny about it since he is well-equipped to handle someone like Cyrus. However, Trina notes that Cyrus didn't threaten her during the visit. In fact, he apologized for his past actions. Trina found it therapeutic to vent her frustrations to him. She also reveals that Cyrus wasn't the scariest part of her dream. In her dream, Spencer didn't help her and just stood there. However, she was fortunate that when Cyrus appeared at the gallery, Spencer came to her defense. She also mentions that Cyrus had protected Spencer when he was in Pentonville and wonders if Spencer is grateful to him for that.
GH Recap Today
Laura meets with Sonny to congratulate him in person on his wedding. Sonny tells Laura that he's been keeping an eye on Cyrus and will take action if he makes a move. Laura then reveals to Sonny that she has definitive proof that Nikolas is alive and wants to talk about Spencer. Sonny empathizes with Spencer's position of having an absent father and promises to help him in any way he can to prevent him from making any rash decisions that he might regret in the future. Laura admires how much Spencer has stepped up to be there for Ace, including taking parenting classes with Esme, but she's worried about the negative impact that spending too much time with Esme could have on his relationship with Trina. As they talk, Sonny receives a text and tells Laura that she should head home as she has a visitor.
GH Recap Today
Esme is at home with her son Ace when there is a knock at the door. She opens it to find Cyrus standing there. Esme is taken aback and asks him why he is there. She appears afraid of him. Cyrus explains that he came to see his sister. Just then, Spencer arrives and Cyrus says he was hoping to meet his other grandnephew. Spencer tells Cyrus that he will inform Laura that he came by. However, Cyrus suggests they use the time for him to get to know Ace and catch up with Spencer. Spencer then suggests that Esme go to work. Cyrus is surprised to learn that Esme is working for Alexis.
After Esme leaves, he asks Cyrus what he really wants. Cyrus insists that his motives are purely altruistic and that he comes in peace. However, Spencer is hesitant to trust Cyrus, knowing that he is a dangerous person and considers him a threat. He reminds Cyrus that he looked out for him in Pentonville, but still doesn't want him anywhere near Ace. Despite Spencer's protestations, Cryus is disheartened that he is not allowing him to get closer to Ace.
Cyrus insists that he has seen the light and changed his ways, but Spencer doesn't believe him. Cyrus argues that people gave Spencer a second chance when he got out of prison, and he is only asking for the same. Laura arrives and asks Spencer to give her a moment alone with her brother. She questions why he came uninvited and Cyrus tells her that he got a chance to meet Ace. He reminds Laura that they are connected by blood and that he cares about her and the rest of the family. He wonders how he can prove this to her. Laura sets boundaries and tells him that he cannot come over unless she calls him. Cyrus agrees to wait for her call and hopes it will be soon.

Adam pays a visit to Joss and suggests that they go to the library to study together. Joss agrees to have the study session in the dorm instead but informs him that they'll have to wrap it up soon because she has other commitments. She then invites him to participate in the Halloween festivities. Adam declines, stating that he doesn't like to dress up. Joss reassures him that he doesn't have to dress up and that they can work on decorating instead. She invites him to accompany her to Kelly's place.
Maxie arrives at Kelly's and expresses her excitement about the Halloween party to Carly. She's particularly elated because this means she won't have to go trick-or-treating with James. She also shares that Georgie intends to go with her friends this year.
Anna meets Felicia at Kelly's where she expresses her exhaustion and inability to function properly. Anna mentions that she is still staying at the Metro Court, but Felicia suggests that a change of environment could do her good. Anna contemplates finding a place on her own since she cannot move in with Valentin at the moment. Felicia suggests subletting and calls Maxie over to discuss the idea. Maxie offers her old apartment as a sublet and Anna expresses concerns about furniture. Later, Maxie takes Anna on a tour of the apartment and Anna decides that it's exactly what she needs. Maxie hands Anna the keys and she is ready to move in immediately. Anna calls Sonny to congratulate him on his marriage and informs him that she found a place and no longer needs a bodyguard. She expresses her desire to get her life back and sees this as the first step.

Charlotte pleads with Valentin to allow her to go trick or treating alone, but he refuses and decides to go with her. Despite her attempts to convince him otherwise, he remains adamant. Charlotte then questions if he doesn't trust her. Valentin reassures her that he trusts her but given the difficult year she has had, he wants to be cautious. Charlotte reminds him that they finally have a home together, just the two of them, and it should be that way. Valentin requests Charlotte to be honest with him, and she admits that she wants to go out with her friends without any supervision. Valentin then gives her an ultimatum, she can only go out with her friends if she agrees to talk to Kevin. Charlotte initially fails to comprehend why, but eventually agrees to it. Valentin expresses his love for her and emphasizes that she is the most important person to him. Charlotte promises that she is happy to be back where she belongs with him and nothing will change that. After she leaves, Valentin contacts Laura to inform her that Charlotte has agreed to see Kevin, and he is pleased that she will receive the help she needs. Meanwhile, Charlotte eavesdrops on their conversation.
