BET+, the streaming platform, has announced the release of twelve new projects to celebrate the upcoming holiday season. The lineup includes a variety of movies, ranging from musical dramas to romantic comedies, as well as several TV specials. Among the films are those featuring popular soap stars including Jackee Harry, Mishael Morgan, and Kyle Lowder, to name a few.




Mark your calendars for November 2nd because that's when "A Wesley Christmas Wedding" airs. The Wesley family reunites to celebrate a joyous Christmas wedding, but they must first navigate through the chaos caused by a controlling mother, some crazy ex-partners, and new family members - some welcomed, others not so much - before the happy couple can exchange their vows. The talented cast includes Dorien Wilson, Jasmine Guy, Terrence "TC" Carson, Loren Lott (ex-Ana, The Young and the Restless), Terayle Hill, Valerie Pettiford, Judi Johnson, Kiki Haynes, Kevin Savage, Mike Merrill, Aaron Spears (Justin, The Bold and the Beautiful), Rolonda Rochelle, Skylar Mitchell, and Red Grant. The film is directed by Patricia Cuffie-Jones and written by Bree West and Chazitear. Chuck and Bree West of OCTET Productions and Devin Griffin and Jerry Leo for BET+ serve as executive producers, while Marvin Neil and Lorisa Bates are the co-executive producers. Don't forget to tune in to "Heart for the Holidays" on November 2nd! The movie follows the story of Rachel, a hardworking businesswoman who travels to Cheverly for a life-saving heart transplant. Fate brings her together with Ms. Sims, the heart donor who tragically passed away in a car accident. While in Cheverly, Rachel meets Amy, who also receives an organ from Ms. Sims. As Rachel tries to leave the town, she is inexplicably drawn back and finds herself growing attached to the community. Along the way, she unexpectedly falls in love with Scott, Amy's brother. Coming on November 16th is "Sworn Justice: Taken Before Christmas," a thrilling action-packed movie. The story follows a determined detective and her boyfriend, a district attorney, who discover that they have both been kidnapped on Christmas Eve. As they try to figure out who is behind their abduction, they are cut off from their electronics and forced to obey the orders of a menacing voice. With their survival at stake, they engage in a dangerous game of cat and mouse on a snowy night. The film stars Mishael Morgan (Amanda, The Young and the Restless), Leland B. Martin, Vivica A. Fox (The Young and the Restless), Melyssa Ford, and Preacher Lawson, and is directed by Nicole G. Leier. The script was written by Jennifer Snow and Nicole G. Will the brothers and their wives put aside old grievances and come together for a successful Christmas reunion?
