Today on The Young and the Restless, Victor and Nikki share a difference of opinion, Nick makes a confession, Tucker’s plan against Jack backfires, and Sally fights temptation.

Victoria is lying in bed and confides in Nate about her concerns that Adam might exploit their father's illness. She wishes that she didn't have to think about Adam, and Nate reassures her that he is keeping an eye on him. If Adam does anything to take advantage of Victor's condition, Nate promises to inform both Victoria and Victor. Victoria is grateful for Nate's support and admits that she is scared and worried about her father. She suggests that they need to take Victor to a specialist first thing in the morning, but Nate warns her that Victor might not agree to it. He tells her that Victor may not go along with their plans. Victoria expresses her fear of losing her father and leaves. Later, Victor calls Nate and invites him to the Ranch. Victor also tells Nate that he trusts no one else. Victor demands that Nate keeps their meeting a secret from everyone.
Nick arrives at Crimson Lights and asks Sharon if she has time for a cup of coffee. Despite it being late, Sharon agrees. She inquires about Nick's conversation with Victor and wonders if his father's condition has worsened. Nick explains that his father has been manipulating them all and they keep falling for it. Sharon is shocked to discover that Victor had planned to catch one of his children taking advantage of his supposed illness. Sharon expresses her disapproval towards the particular act. Nick suspects that the scam was directed towards Adam. He cannot fathom why Victor is being lenient towards his brother. Nick is fed up with the situation and wants it to stop. Sharon suggests that Victoria could be the intended victim instead of Adam, as Victor might doubt her loyalty and is possibly waiting for her to make a move. However, Nick trusts his sister and doesn't believe she would betray their father. He decides that he needs to tell his sister the truth.
Nick gives Victoria a call and asks to meet her in person. Victoria is initially concerned about their father's health, but Nick reassures her that he is doing fine. During their meeting at Society, Victoria inquires about the reason for the meeting, and Nick reveals that their father has been pretending and setting a trap to test their loyalty. This news leaves Victoria in a state of shock.

At the Ranch, Nikki confides in Victor that she feels relieved that Nick now knows the truth. She suggests that he should also inform Victoria, but he refuses, saying that it's not yet time. Nikki is concerned about how long Victor plans to keep playing this game. He tells her that for now, he only trusts her and Nick. Nikki pleads with him to reconsider about Victoria, emphasizing how Victoria has always been loyal to him. She can't comprehend why Victor is treating Victoria the same as Adam and urges him to tell their daughter the truth. Victor reveals that there is one last part of the plan that he needs to execute. Nikki presses him for more details, but he insists that it's not important. He admits that the stakes are very high, and he needs to do it his own way. Nikki warns him that this will not end well.

Sally is sitting and reflecting on her conversation with Nick when Adam walks in and interrupts her thoughts. He expresses his regret for Sally and Nick's relationship ending and feels responsible for ruining it. Adam decides to leave Sally to her thoughts, but Sally pleads with him not to go. She explains that the situation is not completely over because Nick refuses to discuss it with her. Although Sally could easily blame Adam for everything, she knows that he was merely being honest with her, even though it was not what she wanted to hear. She believes that the kiss between them was confusing for both of them. Adam opens up about his tendency to mess things up and mentions his father. Sally asks about Victor, and Adam confesses that he feels like he has finally pushed his father over the edge. He reveals that his father has been acting erratically lately. Adam admits that his decision to return and work at the bottom of the company was a scheme, and he assumes that his father has figured it out. Sally points out that Adam lied to everyone, including her.
Adam confirms that he didn't seek redemption; he only wanted revenge on his family. He decided to take revenge from the inside as it seemed like the best way. He admits that he didn't tell her about his plan because he knew she would try to change his mind, and he was driven by pure, blind rage. Adam understands her doubts about him, but she is the only person he can trust. He swears that his change is genuine this time. Sally decides to trust him one more time, and she also thinks that his father would believe him if he told him the truth. However, Adam doubts that his father is in a place to listen to him. He has reached out to a doctor, but he doesn't know how to get his father to talk to him. Sally suggests that he form a united front with his siblings to confront Victor, but Adam has already tried that, and his siblings refused. Sally urges him to try harder. Although Adam is worried about his conflict with Nick over her, Sally inspires him not to let it get in the way.
