Days of Our Lives Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for Wednesday, November 15, 2023: EJ and Nicole's Heartbreak




Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on Wednesday, November 15, 2023: EJ and Nicole are in a panic. Dimitri presses Leo to skip town. Holly and Johnny make a trip to the hospital. Melinda gets involved with a shady individual.




Days of Our Lives Episode Recap for Wednesday, November 15, 2023: EJ and Nicole's Heartbreak




Days Recap Today



Melinda talks to the baby about the great life he will have with "Mommy Sloan and Daddy Eric" until there's a knock on the door. Her visitor is a doctor whom she tried to prosecute for insurance fraud, but Sloan got him acquitted. He thinks she is trying to trap him, but she tells him that she’s no longer the DA and she wants to pay him to do a job that’s unethical. She offers him a large check and he agrees to do what she wants. 




He examines the baby and gives him a clean bill of health, which makes Melinda happy, but then she tells him that there’s more he needs to do. She wants him to tell the baby's parents that he died. The doctor is reluctant because it’s very cruel, but Melinda tells him he’ll be making another couple very very happy and he’ll be rewarded handsomely.




Days Recap Today




Holly is about to light up a joint when Johnny walks into the parlor. He can tell that she’s upset and she tells them about what happened with Tate. Johnny agrees that he’s out of line and then Holly tells him about what’s going on with Nicole. She notices that she has a text from Eric telling her that EJ took Nicole to the hospital and that she had the baby. Johnny and Holly leave to go to the hospital together.




Days Recap Today


 

Nicole wants to go look for the baby, but EJ tells her that she has to stay in the hospital to recover from the accident. He gets a call from the Salem PD informing him of Leo's arrest and goes to find out where their son is. Johnny and Holly arrive and Nicole tells them that they have a little baby brother, but then has to break the news that he’s missing.




Days Recap Today



Eric is thrilled that their baby was born that night. He is worried about everything they have to do before he can come home and Sloan tells him that he’s going to be a wonderful father. Sloan gets a call from Dimitri and she covers with Eric telling him that it’s a client and she has to take it. Eric tells her that he’s going to give Marlene their good news and after he leaves Sloan asks Dimitri what he wants. 





Dimitri tells her that she needs to help Leo because he’s been arrested and she needs to defend him. He tells her that Leo wants him to leave town to save himself and that they love each other very much. Sloan tells him to leave town and that she’ll defend Leo. She says that and she gets him off, Leo needs to leave town as well and he and Dimitri need to stay very far away from Salem. 




Days Recap Today



Dimitri tells Leo he will not leave Salem without him but Leo insists that he has to. He tells Dimitri that he is under arrest and there is nothing they can do about it. Dimitri tells him that he is going to get him a lawyer to get him out of it and promises it will be ok. After Leo hangs up his phone call Rafe comes in and tries again to get him to turn on Dimitri but Leo refuses. EJ comes in and almost attacks Leo but Rafe holds him back. 





EJ demands to know where his son is and Leo tells him that Dimitri took the baby to the hospital. Leo is surprised and confused when EJ tells him that Dimitri and the baby never showed up at the hospital. He doesn’t understand what’s going on, but still refuses to turn on Dimitri. Sloan comes in and tells them that she’s representing Leo and the questioning is over. She asks to speak to her client in private and they leave them alone. She tells Leo that Dimitri hired her to defend him and that he’s already left Salem.



Days Recap Today



After EJ gets back he tells Nicole, Johnny, and Holly about seeing Leo. They are interrupted when Dr. Piece comes into the room. He tells them that he has news about their son to share. They’re confused because they didn’t think the baby was at the hospital, but he tells them that the information they were given was incorrect because there was a mixup. He breaks the news to them that the baby died from injuries that resulted from the car crash. Nicole and EJ are devastated and Nicole doesn’t believe it. 





The doctor gives her the blanket that the baby was wrapped in and tells her that he was brought into the hospital in that blanket. Nicole recognizes it as the blanket she bought and breaks down. The doctor leaves them alone to process everything and Holly and Johnny try to console them before leaving to give them privacy. EJ tries to comfort Nicole while dealing with his own grief but they are both completely heartbroken by the death of their son.



Days Recap Today



Eric goes to Marlena's to tell her the good news about his and Sloan's son being born that night. Marlene is very happy for him and Sloan. He tells her about Nicole's accident and her having the baby. They are both concerned for them and then Holly calls Eric and gives him the devastating news.
