Days of Our Lives Recap for Today, November 17, 2023:


What happened today on Days of Our Lives: Theresa is reluctant to help Konstantin. Sarah accuses Xander of foul play. Chad makes Gwen an offer. Brady wonders if Alex is interested in Theresa.



Days Recap Today

Chad calls Gwen, who is in Alamainia, asking for her help. Gwen is surprised to receive a call from Chad since he hates her, but Chad insists that it's something only she can give him. He offers her cash in exchange for her half of The Spectator, but Gwen questions why he is reaching out to her instead of Xander, who also owns half and is local to him. Chad reveals that Xander wouldn't sell to him, so he is turning to Gwen as a last resort. 



Chad tries to persuade Gwen to sell her half of The Spectator and tells her about the new editor-in-chief, Everett, who happens to be Stephanie's ex. Chad is willing to pay a lot of money to ensure that Everett is out of the way. Gwen initially hesitates to sell, but after reading Everett's article about Leo, which was published yesterday, she changes her mind and begs Chad to make her a reasonable offer.



Days Recap Today




Everett apologizes to Stephanie for his previous remark and admits that it feels weird for him to hear about her dating other people. Stephanie reminds him that he ghosted her and points out that he has no right to be jealous. Everett apologizes and then asks why Stephanie dumped Alex. He admits that it's hard for him to hear about her dating other guys but he's just curious about what her life has been like since they parted ways.


Stephanie tells him about her time with Alex and Everett expresses concern about Chad, assuming that he is threatened by him. Stephanie admits that she is also uncomfortable with the situation but Everett assures her that he is just concerned about her. He points out the pattern with Chad and thinks an outside perspective can help. The bottom line is that he cares about her.


Stephanie decides to hear him out and they make a bet. Everett expresses his concerns about Chad's request for patience while he sorts out his feelings for his late wife, considering Chad has a problem with Stephanie having any contact with one of her exes. Stephanie points out that Everett lost the bet they made. Everett asks Stephanie if she is sure about her relationship with Chad, to which she replies that it was making her happy. Chad enters the room, and Stephanie explains they were just talking. Everett is grateful for Stephanie's PR help and says he hopes Chad doesn't mind him borrowing her to do work for him. Chad replies that he believes Everett will do great things with the paper, which means a lot to him and his family. Chad and Everett establish boundaries and shake hands, agreeing to understand each other better.



Days Recap Today


Konstantin demands that Theresa kidnap baby Victoria. She is reluctant, but he says he has Alex on speed dial and threatens to call him. She stops him and begs him not to make that call. He wants to win over Sarah. Theresa, dressed in her hoodie, takes Victoria out of the crib. 



When Maggie returns and sees what's happening, she shouts at the person, who then races out with the child. In the commotion, Maggie finds Konstantin lying on the ground and asks him what happened. He tells her to call for help while he goes to rescue Victoria.




Xander confronts Sarah about adding Brady Black to her witness list. Sarah strongly defends her decision, stating that she will do anything to safeguard her daughter's future. She reasons that if Xander can reach out to Eric, then she can call Brady, who is Eric's brother. Sarah also admits that while she doesn't regret having her daughter, she does regret that Xander is the father. Sarah is threatening to take legal action against Xander as he is determined to portray her as an unfit mother. Xander argues that what happened between him and Brady is irrelevant to their case, but Sarah disagrees. She firmly believes that once a judge hears about his actions, there is no way he or his aggressive lawyer can convince anyone that he should be allowed near a child. Sarah gets a call from her mom informing her that Victoria's gone; someone kidnapped her. Sarah accuses Xander of doing this to make her look unfit at the hearing. Xander denies it and urges them to go to the house.


Arianne Zucker is the performer of the week!



Sarah and Xander arrive and ask Maggie to tell them what happened. She has no idea who took the baby; she never saw their face, but they managed to knock out Konstantin. Maggie apologizes for leaving Victoria alone. Xander comforts Sarah as she cries, wondering who took their baby.



Theresa is sitting with the baby in the park when Konstantin rushes in and demands that she hands the baby over to him. He tells her that he needs her to do one more thing, which is to punch him in the face to make it look like he had to fight to get the baby back. Theresa complies with his demand and hands him the baby. Konstantin returns with Victoria and hands her to Sarah, saying that the little child needs her mother. Sarah and Xander express their gratitude towards Konstantin for saving their daughter and promise to never forget his help.


Upstairs, Maggie tends to Konstantin's wound and expresses her gratitude towards him for rescuing her granddaughter. She even goes on to say that she thinks he could be an angel sent from heaven. Konstantin kisses Maggie. 




Meanwhile, Xander receives a text from Sloan stating that they are due in court soon. Considering what happened with Victoria, Sarah suggests postponing the case, to which Xander suggests dropping the case entirely.



Days Recap Today




During a phone call, Alex requests to see the sales figures from the last six months. Meanwhile, Brady arrives to accept Alex's offer of bringing Basic Black to Titan. Alex expresses excitement to work with Brady and mentions that he has put Theresa in charge of Bella Magazine. However, Brady warns Alex that he cannot trust Theresa and advises him to keep a close eye on her as she has a tendency to betray people. Brady wonders if Alex is developing feelings for Theresa and warns him again to stay cautious around her. 




Theresa enters the room and learns that they were talking about her. She expresses a desire to work together with Brady and Alex, and they all agree to maintain a professional relationship. Later, Theresa calls Konstantin and leaves a voicemail, instructing him to leave her out of any issues related to the scheme involving baby Victoria. As Theresa is on the tail end of the message, Brady walks in.
