Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on Monday, November 20, 2023: Xander makes a choice regarding the custody suit. Alex interrupts Brady and Theresa in a conflict. Paulina tasks Harris to investigate Salem’s drug crisis. Ava stands her ground.




Days of Our Lives Episode Recap Monday, November 20, 2023: Ava Shot a Man Down




Days Recap Today



Harris is at the Pub when Ava calls him and apologizes for missing their dinner date because she had to work. Harris understands and they make plans to get a drink together later. After they hang up, Rafe comes in and thanks Harris for meeting him for lunch. They discuss Jada‘s run-in with Leo and Dimitri, and then Rafe tells Harris that he needs help with his sister’s case. He says that he knows that Gabi is innocent and he wants Harris to investigate it on the down low. 




Harris agrees to help him out but Paulina overhears them and comes over and makes it clear to them that it absolutely cannot happen and if it does, they will both be fired.  Rafe understands her position about it being a conflict for all of them and agrees to drop it. Paulina tells them that there’s another issue she needs them working on, that there’s a new drug cartel in town and she needs them to find them and shut them down. They both agree that’s a priority and agree to get right on it. After Paulina leaves, Harris offers to still help Rafe with Gabi, but Rafe tells him that they need to concentrate on the drug issue. 




Days Recap Today



After Maggie thanks him for saving Victoria, Konstantin impulsively kisses her. Maggie pushes him away, horrified, and he apologizes telling her that he will leave at once and go back to Greece. Maggie tells him that that’s not necessary, but he insists that he needs to go. When he’s alone, he berates himself for messing everything up but then wonders if there’s actually a way to save it.



Days Recap Today



Xander and Sarah are thrilled to have their daughter back and Xander tells her that he’s going to drop the custody case because when Victoria was missing it changed everything for him. He tells her that he could never take their daughter away from her and asks her if they can find a way to co-parent her. Sarah is touched and tells Xander that she wants them to co-parent together. They are about to kiss when Maggie comes in and interrupts. 




She apologizes for interrupting them, but they tell her the good news about the custody case. Maggie is thrilled that they’re going to raise Victoria together. Konstantin comes in to say goodbye and Sarah is surprised he’s leaving. She and Maggie talk him into staying, and he pretends to reluctantly agree before going to unpack. 




Days Recap Today




Theresa is leaving a message for Konstantin in Alex‘s office at Titan when Brady comes in and hears the end of what she is saying. He surprises her and asks her what it is that she doesn’t want anybody to know about and Theresa lies and tells him that she slept with Alex and she was talking to Stephanie about it and asking her to keep it a secret. She and Brady are arguing when Alex comes in and tells them about Victoria’s kidnapping. Brady is relieved that Victoria is OK and hopes that whoever took her is found and punished. Theresa agrees but is very uncomfortable with the conversation. 



Days Recap Today



Gil shows up at Ava‘s apartment and tells her that he wants her to steal a key to the Salem PD evidence room from Harris. He tells her that one of their dealers was arrested and they need to get the evidence so he doesn’t flip on them. She tells him that she can’t do it, and if she tried to it would risk Haris finding out and becoming suspicious and blowing the whole operation, Gil tells her that he’s going to have to tell Clyde that she refused, but offers her an alternative. 




He tells her that if she has sex with him, he won’t say anything to Clyde and starts to approach her. Ava tells him no and pulls away. He rips her shirt and becomes forceful, insisting she doesn’t have a choice. Ava pretends to agree but then grabs his gun as she pushes him away. Gil tells her that he doesn’t think that she’ll shoot him as he approaches her menacingly. Outside the door, Harris knocks to pick Ava up for their date but bursts in with his gun drawn when he hears a gunshot. He finds Gil with a gunshot wound in his chest and Ava holding the gun!
