Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on November 3, 2023: Nicole offers Chad relationship advice. Everett surprises Stephanie with some news. Sloan and Marlena are stunned by Eric’s impulsive decision. Wendy consoles Li.
Days of Our Lives Episode Recap November 3, 2023: A Quickie Wedding
Days Recap Today
Gabi and Stefan are in their room about to toast their victory when EJ barges in and demands to know what they meant when they told him that he was fired. They tell him that they have control of DiMera now because Li signed his shares over to them. EJ tells them that he’s not he’ll let them get away with it and they say that there’s nothing he can do about it. Gabi tells him to make sure that his office is cleaned out because anything left is going to get thrown away. EJ vows that his next move will end them. After EJ leaves, Stefan calls a shareholder meeting. Gabi offers to go with him but he tells her that he should handle it alone.

Downstairs Nicole and Chad talk about the wedding and she brings up Stephanie not being in attendance. Chad confides in her about their argument and their disagreement about marriage. He tells her that he loves Stephanie but he can’t picture making wedding vows to anybody but Abigail. Nicole understands and talks about the trouble she’s had with letting go of Eric, even though she knows that it’s not the same thing.
She tells Chad that there are no certainties in life and there’s nothing they can do to guarantee that the people they love don’t leave so all they can do is to try to find happiness where they can. She also says that even though she is sure that he’s heard this before she’s gonna say it again, Abigail would want him to be happy. Chad tells her that he has heard it before but for some reason, it’s sinking in more when she says it. Before leaving he says he is going to find Stephanie and make things right.
EJ comes downstairs and tells Nicole about Gabi and Stefan taking control of DiMera. He gets the notification that the shareholders have voted him out and Nicole tells him that they will do everything they can to get back what is his tomorrow but for now, she just wants to celebrate their wedding night.

Stephanie and Everett run into each other in the Square and Everett tells Stephanie that he staying in Salem. He tells her that he got a job as the new editor of the Spectator but assures her that he’s not there to cause her any trouble. He asks her how her boyfriend reacted to her seeing him, and she admits that she hadn’t told him yet. Everett finds this interesting but Stephanie says that she just didn’t have a chance because she had an early meeting.
Everett can tell there’s something wrong and encourages her to open up to him. He offers to buy her her favorite pumpkin spice drink so they can talk and Stephanie agrees. As they walk around Salem, Stephanie tells him about the issues between her and Chad and Everett can’t believe that Chad doesn’t want to marry Stephanie. She thanks him for being a good listener and they hug in the park just as Chad walks up and sees them.

Eric gets home and Sloan asks him what he needs to talk to her about that is so important. Eric tells her that he wants them to get married that day and convinces her that it’s a good idea. After he leaves so she can get ready Sloan looks at a picture of the two of them and talks about how she thought this day would never arrive. She says that now she’s going to marry Eric and there’s nothing that Nicole or her baby can do about it.

Sloan and Eric go home and make love for the first time as husband and wife. They snuggle on the couch and talk about how much more connected they feel to each other now that they’re married.

Li is furious about Gabi tricking him and making him sign over his shares of DiMera. He holds a knife in his hand and talks about getting his revenge. Wendy comes in and is concerned about him but he plays it off and tells her that he is just getting ready to make dinner. They talk about his session with Marlena, and he tells her about the breakthrough he had when he realized that what his father did to his high school sweetheart influenced his desperation to hold onto Gabi.
Wendy is surprised because Li had never told her about the other woman before, but he explains that she was so young he didn’t wanna bring her into it. He tells her about what Gabi did to him and Wendy is furious on his behalf, but Li tells her that he’s just letting it go and moving on with his life. They talk about how their fathers going to react and Li tells her that he can handle whatever is going to happen. Wendy gets a text from Tripp about their plans for the evening.
She wants to cancel, but Li encourages her to go on her date and promises her that he’s fine. Later on, Wendy calls her brother to check on him and leave him a message. She is unaware that Li is dead from a stab wound on their living room floor, and Stefan has just burst into the apartment to find Gabi holding the bloody knife.
