General Hospital Episode Recap and Spoilers for Today, Tuesday, November 14, 2023:
What happened today on General Hospital: Ava counsels Trina. Spencer makes a plea to Esme. Dante interrogates Austin. Carly seeks out Sonny. Finn gets bad news.
GH Recap Today
Elizabeth rushes to catch the elevator that Finn is on. He notices that she is carrying a bunch of papers and she tells him that the hospital is trying to handle some budget adjustments that they must finish by the end of the year. As they get off the elevator, Portia approaches and tells Finn that she needs to speak with him urgently. She says that Dr. Randolph wants to meet with him in her office. In the office, Finn realizes that the matter is serious. Dr. Randolph admits that there has been a lawsuit filed against GH and him for malpractice. Finn wonders if he will be suspended, but they tell him that he will still be able to practice with certain limits. Because of his substance abuse, he will have to undergo drug testing every week. He is concerned about the amount of time he has to find a lawyer and Dr. Randolph advises him to start searching immediately. After he departs, Portia acknowledges that Dr. Finn is a competent doctor. Dr. Randolph concurs and suggests that they require Finn's services, and that the hospital must be cleared of any wrongdoing.
Liz approaches Finn with questions about his meeting. Finn describes it as a doctor's worst nightmare. He elaborates on the events that took place. Liz expresses her faith in Finn's innocence. However, Finn seems uncertain about the outcome. Nonetheless, Liz assures him of her unwavering support and willingness to help clear his name. Despite Finn's reluctance, Liz promises to do everything in her power to assist him.
Carly admits that she's not sure if she wants to buy it back because she loves Kelly's and it's a great fit for her. She explains that her mom is in Amsterdam, taking care of things for Luca Faris, and she has to look after Kelly's. Carly cannot abandon it. She says that if she decides to buy back in Metro Court, then she will have to figure out a way to finance it. Sonny offers to help, but Carly tells him not to. Maybe Charlotte's shooting caused Nina to change her mind. Sonny encourages Carly to consider Nina's offer. Carly leaves after encouraging him to watch his back, and he promises that he will.
Nina visits Valentin and he thanks her for coming. He notes that Laura will be there shortly. He tells her that Charlotte thinks Anna shot her purposely. Nina wonders why Charlotte would think that. Laura arrives. Laura is surprised to see Nina there. Valentin informs her that Nina was completely involved and had taken a big risk by deleting the footage at the Metro Court that showed what Charlotte had done. Laura reveals what happened with Charlotte at the hospital and that it is exactly as they had suspected - Victor Cassadine is involved.
Nina visits Valentin and he thanks her for coming. He notes that Laura will be there shortly. He tells her that Charlotte thinks Anna shot her purposely. Nina wonders why Charlotte would think that. Laura arrives. Laura is surprised to see Nina there. Valentin informs her that Nina was completely involved and had taken a big risk by deleting the footage at the Metro Court that showed what Charlotte had done. Laura reveals what happened with Charlotte at the hospital and that it is exactly as they had suspected - Victor Cassadine is involved.
She explains that Charlotte had been doing everything to protect Valentin because of what Victor had told her. They realize that Charlotte's actions were motivated by Victor's hatred for Anna. Upon learning about the letter, Valentin rushes upstairs to Charlotte's room to search for it. When he returns downstairs, he shows them the letter. Laura reads it aloud and Valentin reveals that Victor has found the perfect revenge.
At the gallery, Ava greets Trina who just arrived from her last class. Trina confirms that she's not on duty today and came to get away from the dorm. Ava asks if everything's okay, and Trina reveals that she had a disagreement with Spencer yesterday. He gave her an ultimatum, and Trina walked out on him. She's been avoiding him ever since. Trina explains that she spoke up when Spencer and her had an argument about Esme, and it seems like there's no room for her in his life. Ava points out that Trina has been understanding with Spencer since he's been spending so much time with Esme, while Trina is still in love with him. Trina admits that she understands why he's being so protective of Ace. Ava notices that Trina has been very patient and wonders what has changed. Trina says that they were closer than ever in New York, but now it seems they are doomed to fail. Later, Trina receives a text from Spencer. She doesn't want to talk to him, but admits she still loves him. Ava encourages her to sit down and talk to him.
Dante visits Austin to ask him about his cousin Mason. Austin tells him that he has already spoken to Detective Chase and has nothing more to say. Austin explains to Dante that his cousin is suffering from the delusion that they are close. Dante asks if this is why he has been bringing third-party individuals to the ER for treatment. However, Austin denies having any memory of that and describes how busy the ER can get. Dante then raises the possibility of Austin being an accessory after the fact. Austin believes that Dante is fishing for information and insists that he is innocent. He adds that he was the one who saved Ava Jerome from the kidnapping. When Dante questions the nature of his relationship with Ava, he wonders if it was Mason's idea to kidnap her. Dante concludes that Mason must be following someone's orders and urges Austin to come up with the name of Mason's boss to save himself. Later, Austin receives a message saying, "Don't be foolish, it can be deadly."
Cyrus pays a visit to Mason in the hospital and expresses his belief that it is their duty to offer solace to the sick and those incarcerated. Given that Mason falls into both categories, Cyrus feels obliged to comfort him. Mason inquires about the reason behind his visit, to which Cyrus responds that he has come to guide him towards redemption. During their conversation, Cyrus brings up the incident involving Ava and informs Mason that he can evade the attempted murder charge if he confesses to acting alone. However, Mason doesn't agree. Cyrus reminds Mason about their last meeting, where Cyrus had warned him about the possible consequences of his actions. Mason suggests striking a deal by revealing information about Austin, whom he claims to have been seen with multiple times and that is incriminating enough. However, Cyrus refuses to let Austin pay for Mason's mistakes and assures him that justice will be served in due time.
