Today on General Hospital: Ava unleashes her fury and more... (Spoilers recap for November 16, 2023)
General Hospital Episode Recap and Spoilers for Today, Thursday, November 16, 2023:
What happened on General Hospital today: Ava lashes out, Dex cautions Josslyn, Cody comes clean, Molly is blindsided, and Anna catches up with Sonny.
GH Recap Today
Sasha confesses her feelings for Cody to Maxie while he overhears. Maxie tells Sasha that it's okay because Cody also has feelings for her. Just as Maxie is leaving to talk to Haven, Cody walks in and exclaims, "What?" Sasha notes that she should have picked a better time to talk to Maxie about this. Maxie advises them not to talk themselves out of something they both clearly feel. After Maxie leaves, Cody admits to Sasha that he has feelings for her. Cody explains his feelings. Sasha notes how much she appreciates everything he has done for her but tells him that she is still mourning Liam and Brando. She desires to be a whole person again before she can be with someone again.
Austin meets Ava at the Gallery and she asks how his cousin is doing. Austin says the word on the street is that they are working on a plea deal with him and he is doing okay. Ava asks if he knows the terms of the deal and wonders if Mason has agreed to give up his boss - Cyrus Renault. Austin avoids confirming that Mason is working for Cyrus but Ava calls him out on it and says this means he is also working for Cyrus. Ava lashes out at Austin for lying to her all this time and asks why he didn't tell her that Nikolas was alive. Austin says he did everything to protect her and save her. Austin decides to be honest and tells Ava how Cyrus paid for his medical education and what he owed him. Austin tells Ava that his feelings for her were what Cyrus used as leverage. Ava in return, tells Austin that he had options but he cared far too much about saving his own skin than saving her. She says that it was not him who saved her; it was Joss, Dante and Dex. Ava tells him that she hates him. He apologizes noting that he is truly sorry and that he really cares about her. Ava screams demanding that he get out.
GH Recap Today
Adam stops Josslyn and expresses his delight that she's back. He asks for her help in studying for his chemistry exam, but she apologizes and declines due to her exhaustion. Adam pleads with her, explaining that his parents will be furious if he doesn't do well on the exam. He emphasizes that there is a lot of pressure on him. Josslyn reminds him that he scored a 92 at the beginning of the semester, which is better than most of their classmates, and she is confident that he can do well. Adam grabs Josslyn's arm and implores her to only give him an hour of her time. At this point, Dex appears and demands that Adam back off.
Adam apologizes and explains that he is stressed about the exam, telling Dex that he can't understand because he is not a student. Josslyn tries to calm them down and suggests that Adam find another study partner. However, Adam begs her not to abandon him because he really needs her help. Josslyn is sympathetic but reminds him that she is busy, and he is smart enough to do well on his own. Adam insists that Josslyn has helped him in ways she doesn't even realize. Eventually, he decides to leave, and Josslyn expresses her sympathy to Dex, telling him that Adam is struggling because of the pressure from his parents. She worries that Adam doesn't have anyone in his corner. Later, Joss notes that Spencer has been blowing up her phone about Trina and she hates to see them at odds since they are both her friends.
Adam updates his father over the phone, telling him that he is studying and has a group of friends to study with. Before he starts studying, Adam takes a pill.
GH Recap Today
Dante arrives home and Sam tells him that he's just in time to help with the den renovations. She informs him that the kids are not around and Dante shares an update on Charlotte, not wanting the kids to hear about it. Sam wonders if Charlotte's targeting of Anna is related to Anna's past with the WSB and suggests that maybe Charlotte thinks Anna should be punished for her past crimes. Dante agrees and informs Sam that Anna doesn't want Charlotte prosecuted. Just then, he receives a call from Anna, who begs him to meet her at Maxie's apartment, citing that it's really important.
Haven tells Maxie that she wants Deception to commit to another appearance by Sasha and Cody. Maxie finds it interesting since Haven previously didn't want Cody on her stage. Haven says that Sasha and Cody have a special chemistry which works in her favor as a businesswoman.
Anna visits Sonny and he offers her a drink which she accepts. She tells him that she thinks he needs to increase security because she suspects he was the target of the shooting at the Metro Court pool. Anna confesses that Charlotte was the person responsible for the things that happened to her, but she doesn't want Charlotte to be prosecuted. She reveals to Sonny that Valentin knew what Charlotte did and managed to get rid of the footage that revealed Charlotte was stalking Anna. Anna thinks that Valentin's decision to keep silent has destroyed him. Later, Anna returns to her apartment and remembers shooting Charlotte.. As Dante arrives, Anna tells him about her reports that she kept from her time at the WSB and the incriminating memo that she found on Forsyth. Now that she's back she realizes that it is all gone. Meanwhile Sonny asks Brick to look into the former WSB agent.
Molly meets with TJ. He invites her to sit down, but she says she doesn't want to and begs him to tell her what happened. He informs her that Andrea had a miscarriage. He says that Andrea couldn't bring herself to tell Molly. Molly becomes emotional and embraces TJ while Alexis knocks on the door and hands over her tablet to Molly which she left at the Metro Court. Kristina opens the door and breaks down in her mom's arms. Alexis tells her daughter that she is extremely sorry for what happened and she cannot even imagine how upset they are. She promises to be there for them whatever they might need. Molly says that they were so close and now their baby is gone. TJ tells them that he talked to Portia and he is confident that she will keep this in confidence. Molly says that they have to tell their families. However, Alexis advises them to take their time, but Molly insists on getting it over with. She begs her mom to tell her sisters. Alexis promises to handle everything while they take care of each other. Later, Alexis pays a visit to Sam and tells her that Molly and TJ lost their baby. TJ tells Molly that if they want to try surrogacy again they will have to find someone else because Andra has made it clear that she will not do it again.
