Finn meets with Diane and thanks her for meeting him. He offers to show her his notes, but she declines, saying she cannot represent him. She explains that she cannot possibly take his case as she is already representing the Muldoons, the family that is suing him. Diane notes that she did promise Alexis to hear him out, but as soon as she got off the phone, she received a call from the Muldoons, and they have her on retainer. She gives Finn some unsolicited advice, saying that the GH lawyers will focus on themselves. As Gregory arrives, he apologizes for interrupting, but Diane tells Finn that their business is done for now.
Finn is happy to see his dad and asks if he is doing okay. Gregory replies that he is coming along and inquires about what happened with Diane. Finn explains that it was a legal matter and changes the subject to Violet, his granddaughter. Although Gregory enjoys hearing about his intuitive granddaughter, he senses that something is bothering Finn and asks if it is related to the meeting he had with Diane. Finn admits that the meeting did not go as he hoped and goes on to say that there is something going on at the hospital that he does not want to get into, especially with everything Gregory is already going through. However, Gregory encourages him to open up about it. Finn reveals that he is being sued. He explains that this is the first time he has been sued in his medical career, and although he does not think the suit has merit, cases like this could take a turn, and this could be the end of his career. Gregory encourages his son to fight.
Curtis expresses his gratitude to Jordan for visiting him and offers her some tea, which she politely declines. He then shares with her the reason for inviting her over, stating that she is the only one who can understand what he has discovered. Curtis proceeds to open up about his meditation practice, which Jordan reveals TJ has been encouraging her to try.
Curtis also discusses his previous work as a private investigator and how he feels sidelined now that he is in a wheelchair. He says he needs to find out who shot him, he cannot just sit there and he must take matters into his own hands. He explains to Jordan that in order to accomplish his goal, he requires access to the police investigation, and this is where she comes in. He acknowledges that it is a morally ambiguous situation, but he still asks if she can bend the rules just a little. Jordan points out that it is a fine line to walk, but agrees to help him gain access. However, she has a condition: she insists on being involved in the process. She reminds him how good of a team they were and thinks they will make more progress if they work together. He agrees.
Carly is standing outside Kelly's and looking in. Drew comes and asks if she is spying on her employees. She kisses him and he asks what that was for. Carly tells him she is just celebrating. As they sit inside, Carly tells Drew that she turned down Nina's offer to buy back her half of the Metro Court. She felt a bit of deja vu while watching Nina enjoy the things that used to be hers. Drew wonders if that includes Sonny, but Carly notes that she is sorry about divorcing him. She thinks she sounds crazy, but Drew says she sounds human. Carly says she is not going to dwell on the things Nina did and is ready to move to the future. She has so many blessings and is happy that Drew was released. Drew then mentions Ned pushing him one step too far. He says that Ned is back to his old arrogant self. Drew promises not to make any more rash decisions.

Anna suggests that Charlotte might need intensive deprogramming. Valentin remains hopeful, saying that they can move forward now that Charlotte is on the road to healing. However, Anna expresses uncertainty about their ability to do so, given that Valentin kept this secret from her. She believes that if Valentin had told her the truth from the beginning, they could have handled it together. Anna asserts that the reason Valentin does not trust anyone is because he cannot be trusted himself. Valentin concedes that he was wrong. Anna remarks that every time Charlotte sees her, she will remember what happened, and it is the same for her when she sees Valentin. She informs him that in order for her to have peace, she needs to see him as little as possible and walks away.

Charlotte insists that Anna is only pretending to like her to get closer to her father, and that she is using him. Nina asks Charlotte why she didn't tell others about Victor's letter. Charlotte explains that she thought no one would believe her. When asked what she did, Charlotte clarifies that she didn't try to harm Anna in any way, she was just trying to scare her. Nina encourages Charlotte to open up, pointing out that everyone makes mistakes. Charlotte admits to spray painting Anna's door and trashing her room at the Metro Court. She was going to spray paint another message at Halloween, but Anna found her and shot her. Charlotte notes that she wasn't the one who burnt down Anna's house.

Sonny then reminds Cyrus of the recent blackmail incident involving Austin and Mason, who had put a mole named Betty in Sonny's household. Cyrus acknowledges that it is quite a story. Sonny then admits that all the information that Betty had stolen and given to Cyrus was false and a trap and Cyrus walked right into it.
