General Hospital Recap November 6, 2023: Valentin Is Horrified

General Hospital Episode Recap and Spoilers for Monday, November 6, 2023: 

What happened today on General Hospital: Sam and Dante voice their concern. Finn is uneasy. Esme makes a confession. Chase puts his foot in his mouth. Valentin is horrified.

GH Recap Today

Anna returns home and discovers that her door is not locked. She is about to depart when she stops and pulls her gun from her waistband. She opens the door cautiously and orders the intruder to freeze. Charlotte swiftly turns around, holding her shattered flashlight, and Anna fires her gun, causing Charlotte to fall. Jake rushes in, yelling Charlotte's name, and Anna prevents them from entering. When she gets to the body, she learns it's Charlotte and is horrified by what she's done. Anna has Jake remove his costume so she may apply pressure to Charlotte's wound with it and instructs him to dial 911. Jake dials 911 and describes what happened, and the dispatcher assures him that an ambulance is on its way. He asks Anna why she shot Charlotte when he hangs up the phone. Valentin arrives and is taken aback. He has inquiries and wants to know what happened. As Dante arrives, they transfer Charlotte to GH. Anna gives him her account of what happened.  She is upset over using her weapon on a child. Dante inquires about the bagpack and discovers that it belongs to Charlotte. Jake wants to take it to the hospital to give it to her, but Dante says no, it will be kept as evidence. Dante then takes Anna's gun away. 

When Danny and Sam arrive home, Dante asks whether everything is all right, and Sam is not sure. She informs him that Charlotte went missing, Jake went to find her, and they are now both missing. Danny tells them about Charlotte going missing and Jake believes he saw her, but it was someone else in a different disguise. He says there was someone dressed as the Taro's hermit, which Charlotte was going to go as, but then changed her mind. Sam inquires as to why Charlotte desired to attend as a Tarot, and Danny informs her that Charlotte learned to read Tarot Cards back in Switzerland. Later, Dante gets a call from the station, informing him that there was a shooting and the address is Maxie's old apartment. Danny comes back downstairs after Dante is gone. He says he texted both Charlotte and Jake and he has yet to hear from any of them. Sam asks if he has any idea what's going on with Charlotte. He notes he has been thinking, what if someone grabbed Charlotte. Sam encourages him not to jump to the worst-case scenario and tells him that this could all be a simple Halloween prank that went wrong.

GH Recap Today

Esme apologizes to Laura for Ace waking her up when she finds them sitting on the couch together. Laura tells her she was already awake working and that she doesn't mind because she loves all the time she gets to spend with her grandson. Esme can't believe that she didn't wake up to Ace crying, and Laura tells her that it's OK and reminds her that she's there so that they can help her. Esme asks Laura why she's always so nice to her. Laura tells her that it's because they are family. She is the mother of her grandson, and that means a lot to her and Kevin. Laura says she sees how wonderful she is to Ace, and she cannot help but be impressed with how she is handling work and supporting her son. Esme reveals her plan to move out. She says it's time for her and Ace to find a place of her own. Laura feels blindsided and wonders if something happened. Esme says no, but the place feels crowded. Laura wonders if this has something to do with Spencer, to which Esme notes that it's hard to live with Spencer. She admits that she has developed feelings for Spencer. Laura thinks it's natural since they've been in close proximity. Laura also wonders if this is because of his relationship with Trina. Esme admits that Trina has been so nice to her, and this is one of the reasons she doesn't want to stay around to develop even more feelings for Spencer. Esme reveals that Trina's mom was the one who suggested that she take the parenting class with Spencer. Laura completely understands and says she is interested in getting to know the new Esme. Laura offers to help with the rent once she moves out, but Esme declines. Laura appreciates the fact that Esme will stay in Port Charles so that she can watch her grandson grow up.



GH Recap Today

Chase returns from the store with candy bars and informs Brook Lynn that he purchased the best ones. She kisses him, and he informs her that he had to go to three different stores before finding them. She points out that all of the trick-or-treaters are now in bed and will not be able to enjoy them. He says that he wants their apartment to be a primo candy destination for trick-or-treaters. Brooklyn’s just happy that they got trick-or-treaters and said that every year the Quartermaine‘s open the main gate but no kids ever come. Chase thinks that that was probably for the best because Tracy would’ve scared them away. Tracy, according to Brook Lynn, has flaws, but she sincerely cares about her and wants to provide for her. She emphasizes that she is completely dedicated to music and being a manager. Tracy stealing Deception from Lucy, Maxie, and Sasha makes her feel bad. Chase advises Brook Lynn to accept Tracy's offer and then turn over control of the company to Lucy and Maxie. Brook Lynn then describes him as a lovely man who is a little too naive when it comes to her granny.

Carly and Drew kiss at Kelly’s and she can’t believe that he’s home. Drew tells her that he has no idea how he got released from Pentonville. He says when he got back to Pentonville after being in the hospital, he was put into solitary for his own protection, but then they released him and told him that Judge Kim had reconsidered his sentence and decided that way it was too harsh and had ordered his release. Drew said he doesn’t know why that happened and asks Carly if she does and she smiles at him. 

Carly notes that Alexis interviewed Judge Kim and he was bought and paid for and it could put a very big wrinkle in his career. Carly tells Drew how she got the information on the judge and he realizes that he owes a debt of gratitude to Sonny, Alexis and Diane. Drew calls Carly his hero. After kissing, Carly notes how glad she is to have him back. He reveals that Judge Kim gave him six months probation. She is stunned, but he tells her not to worry about it, he is just glad to be back with his women. "Women?" she exclaims. He says yes, she and Scout. He can't wait to see her and promises to see her tomorrow morning. 

Both Finn and Liz are working at the hospital. They flirt as they wander the halls, and Liz remarks that it's quiet for a night shift. Finn warns her not to jinx it. Liz and Finn flirt more at the hospital, and she tells him that she never thought of him as the suspicious sort. Finn informs her that the craziest night he ever had as an intern was when someone commented on how quiet the night was going to be.

Valentin arrives at the hospital with Charlotte. Liz inquires about her son's whereabouts and discovers that her son is fine. Jake, Anna, and Dante arrive at the hospital later as Austin and the nurses tend to Charlotte. Valentin begs them to save his daughter. After, Valentin asks Anna why. Jake approaches Valentin and apologizes. Jake says he tried to catch up with Charlotte. Glancing over to Anna, Valentin tells Jake that it is not his fault.
