General Hospital Episode Recap and Spoilers for Today, Thursday, November 9, 2023:
What happened today on General Hospital: Valentin treads carefully. Lois cautions Brook Lynn. Olivia jumps into action. Dante briefs Anna and Sonny. Spencer feels betrayed.
GH Recap Today
Eddie hears Ned's voice singing and immediately jumps into the water. Olivia arrives at the scene and begins searching for Eddie. She notices his shoes and jacket and calls out his name. "Oh God, Ned, what did you do?" she exclaims. She is unsure of what to do next but decides to take off her coat and jump into the water. She prays that Eddie is okay. Meanwhile, Eddie is submerged in the water, remembering his life as Ned. Olivia continues to search frantically for him and finds him but he is trapped and she fights to rescue him.
Brook Lynn talks with Lois about her decision to leave town. Brook Lynn asks her why she is leaving and Lois explains that she only came to town to help her daughter after the scandalous tabloid story, and now that everything is fine, she doesn't want to overstay her welcome. However, Lois also tells Brook Lynn that if she needs her, she will stay. Brook Lynn expresses that she needs her mother's support, especially since her father is struggling with his memory. Lois shares that Eddie Maine was a significant part of her life, but now that's all in the past. Brook Lynn is interested in pursuing a career in music, but Lois suggests that she should accept her granny's gift of Deception. Brook Lynn declines, citing bad experiences and lost friendships. Lois encourages her to take the company and return it to her friends. Lois proposes that they should stick it to Tracy, but Brook Lynn is not sure if it's the right thing to do. Lois encourages her daughter to be smart about it if she decides to go through with it.
GH Recap Today
Maxie expresses her excitement to Salvador about landing a booking with him. She tells him about Sasha, but Salvador expresses his reluctance to work with someone whom he perceives as fragile and unstable. Maxie assures him that Sasha is strong and reliable. Sasha comes in and Salvador tells her that he needs to hear it from her directly. Later, Salvador guides Sasha as she poses in a beautiful garden while he takes pictures. Cody arrives and is immediately attracted to Sasha's beauty. He introduces her to an alpaca, and Salvador takes some shots of the three of them together. Maxie is skeptical about Cody's modeling abilities, but they all follow Salvador's instructions and have fun during the shoot. Later, Maxie says to herself that this is perfect.
Stella asks Felicia what's up. Felicia notes it's horrifying; her best friend accidentally shot someone last night, a young girl, and it's all her fault. Felicia tells Stella the story of how Anna shot Charlotte, and confesses that it was her idea for Anna to move into her daughter's old apartment. Stella consoles Felicia, encouraging her not to blame herself and reminding her that her intentions were good. Stella suggests that Felicia take a day off to rest, but Felicia insists on staying busy to avoid worrying about Anna. Stella confides in Felicia that when she visited her cousin Wanda in London and met a man named George, whom she fell in love with. However, she turned down George's proposal because it would have required her to move to London, and she couldn't bear to leave her family in Port Charles.

Laura then tells him that there is something else that is very important that she needs to discuss with him. Spencer initially wonders if Laura's news is about Nikolas, but he tells her not to bother. However, before Laura can even respond, Esme arrives and interrupts them, claiming that she has urgent news. Despite Laura's attempts to stop her, Esme insists on sharing her news - she claims to have found the perfect place. Spencer immediately objects and tells Esme that she's not taking Ace anywhere. But Esme insists that she's leaving with Ace unless Laura has reconsidered helping her with the rent. Laura confirms that she hasn't changed her mind about helping Esme with the rent. She tells her that they'll check out the apartment, and if it's suitable, they'll sign the lease. However, Esme reminds Spencer that she's Ace's mother and it's her duty to make decisions for him. She then leaves. Spencer is left feeling upset and wonders how Laura could be helping to take Ace away from him. Laura assures him that this isn't the case and that she would never do anything to hurt him or take Ace away.
After the incident, Anna expresses gratitude to Sonny for letting her stay at his place, but she feels compelled to face Valentin and explain everything to him. Sonny advises against it, warning her that Valentin may not be receptive to what she has to say. Just then, Dante arrives and Anna fears he may be there to arrest her. However, Dante reassures her that there is no warrant out for her arrest and that he is there as a friend. He wonders if she knows how Charlotte got into her apartment. She says she has no idea, but she locked the door and when she got there, the door was open, and she assumed it was the person terrorizing her. So, she pulled her gun and made the worst mistake of her life. Dante tells Anna that he found the key in Charlotte's belongings and Anna reveals that she showed it to Vanlein at his new place with Charlotte present. Dante also discovered that there was a spray paint can of the same brand and color used to write the message on Anna's front door in Charlotte's backpack. He wonders if these items can shed some light on the situation. However, Sonny dismisses this evidence, saying that there are a lot of similar items everywhere and it doesn't necessarily prove anything. Anna believes she has already identified who has been targeting her and begins to suspect that this person may have been manipulating Charlotte into going after her. She rushes out to go talk to Valentin. Sonny and Dante are left wondering if Charlotte, given her complicated life, is capable of targeting Anna on her own.
As Charlotte wakes up, she finds Valentin and Nina by her side, with Valentin expressing his relief that she's okay. Charlotte complains about her stomach hurting and her mouth feeling dry. Nina offers her some ice chips to eat slowly. Valentin then asks Charlotte if she remembers what happened. Charlotte thinks for a moment and recalls that it was Halloween and that she went trick-or-treating. She then says that Anna shot her, but that she didn't know Anna would do that. Nina reassures Charlotte that what happened was just an accident and that Anna mistook her for an intruder. Charlotte then asks her father what Anna has told him. Valentin tells her that he hasn't left her side and asks her why she changed her costume, why she went to Anna's apartment, and how she got in. Nina suggests that the questions could wait since Charlotte has just woken up, but Charlotte insists on telling her father what happened. She says that she found Anna's key and wanted to return it. She claims she went to Anna's place with the intention of helping, but Anna shot her. Charlotte worries if her father is upset with her. However, Valentin reassures her that he isn't and tells her that she needs to rest. After Valentin and Nina leave the room, Valentin expresses his doubts about Charlotte's story. However, Nina reminds him that the most important thing is that Charlotte is alive and that they can deal with everything else later. Valentin expresses his gratitude towards Nina for being there and she tells him that she's only a phone call away and will be back tomorrow. Later, Anna arrives and faces Valentin.
