What happened today on The Young and the Restless: Victor loses patience with the family’s infighting, Jack and Ashley share a difference of opinion about their revenge plan, and Mamie shares words of wisdom with Nate.

Ashley greets Diane and Jack and notices that they sound serious. She asks them what’s going on. Diane thinks they should show Ashley what they have, and Jack hands her an article on his tablet written by his friend that exposes Tucker's PR department's cover-up while he was running McCall. Jack plans to have it published for a wide release soon. Ashley acknowledges that it’s a big move. However, she is surprised that Jack didn't tell her about this before attempting to release it to the world.
Things get a little tense between the siblings, and Diane intervenes, suggesting that they take a step back for a moment. She thinks they shouldn't turn on each other right now. Diane tells Jack that they should listen to Ashley because her concerns are valid. Ashley warns Jack that if he shares this with the world, it will only make Tucker angrier. Jack thinks they need to take action against Tucker before he takes action against them. Ashley asks Jack to give her some more time because she believes she can handle this. Diane agrees that a little more time wouldn’t hurt.
Jack tells Ashley that she's playing with fire, and he doesn't want to see her get burnt. Ashley begs him not to underestimate her. She leaves, and Diane hopes Jack is not angry with her for letting Ashley in on the plan to expose Tucker. Jack admits he is worried because Ashley is not as in control of her feelings for Tucker as she claims. He is concerned that she will fall for him all over again.
Abby tightly hugs Ashley as they reunite. Ashley remarks that she is squeezing the life out of her. Abby expresses concern that she hasn't seen Ashley much since she returned. However, Ashley clarifies that it's not her fault as Abby is always busy preparing for the holidays. Abby mentions that she has been worried about Ashley's well-being, but Ashley assures her that there's no need to worry.
As Abby inquires about Tucker, Abby advises her to stay away from him. Abby notes that it seems like Tucker's focus has shifted from the Abbots and Jabot. She informs her mother that Devon and Lily believe that Tucker has been behind Mamie's return to town. Ashley is taken aback by this revelation.
Y&R Recap Today
As Adam takes his seat at the bar, Sally spots him and suddenly flashes back to when they had sex. Sally appears lost in her thoughts when Chloe interrupts her and asks if everything is okay. Chloe then inquires about the look Sally shared with Adam. Sally brushes it off and says it wasn't a big deal. Chloe pleads with her to confirm that she and Adam are not starting things up again. Sally denies any such possibility. Chloe informs Sally that she needs to finalize things with Marchetti, to which Sally responds that once that is done, they can finally negotiate a deal for her return.
Nate arrives at the GCAC where Adam greets him, jokingly calling him "boss". Adam then asks Nate how unemployment is treating him. Nate responds by saying that he takes pleasure in the fact that he no longer has to work with Adam. Adam agrees, saying he feels like a giant weight has been lifted off of him.

Nate calls Adam the same self-serving bastard he has always been. Adam retorts by saying that he played the game and lost, adding that he knows his father better than Nate does. Nate counters this by saying that Adam didn't see through Victor's scheme, despite claiming to know his father so well. Adam admits that Victor was trying to uncover bad intentions, which Nate clearly had. Nate insists that he was only trying to help. Adam believes that he has proven himself to his father and that he will be rewarded. Nate points out that he is now out of a job, which means that Adam no longer can be his assistant.
Mamie enters the room and Adam leaves. Mamie asks Nate what was going on. Nate tells Mamie about what happened at Newman. Mamie says she won't say "I told you so" but that she was right. She suggests that Nate can now return to Chancellor-Winters where he belongs. Nate responds that his return is not guaranteed, but he did have a meeting with Devon recently. Mamie suggests that the four of them should sit down as a family to discuss his return, but Nate thinks that could be tricky.
At the office, Victor asks Nikki if she is still planning to go on the trip. She confirms that she is, as long as he is still planning to fix things with Victoria. Victor assures her that he will take care of things, but adds that it would be good for her to get away. Nikki compliments Claire as an amazing assistant and expresses her excitement for the trip. Victor reiterates that he's going to take care of things, even if he has to force the children to cooperate.
Later, Victoria and Nick arrive at the office. They wonder what their father is up to this time and Victoria asks if there are more tricks. Victor explains that he wants to clarify where things stand with both of them regarding the company, especially after what happened with Nate Hastings. He maintains that he has no intention of vacating the CEO chair and hopes that they both will agree to work alongside him. Nick suggests that it's best for them to put their family issues behind and Victor agrees, but asks what about Victoria. She explains that it's not going to be easy for her and notes that it's difficult for her that her father didn't trust her and couldn't confide in her about his health. She tells him he's not being fair about Nate and believes his motives are sincere, but Victor disagrees and Nick supports his father's stance.
Victor asks his daughter if she still has feelings for Nate. She replies by saying that her father is still questioning her judgment and doesn't have any faith in her. Victor advises her to get rid of Nate Hastings because she doesn't need him. She says he is trying to control her personal life. Victor admits that her choice of men had always been most questionable to him. Victor asks Nick if he is with them, and he says yes, he's back, he's all in. Victoria says that she is still angry with her father, but despite his actions, she cannot turn her back on Newman Enterprises. Victor is happy that she has come around, but she tells him that he must work hard to regain her trust. He says that it goes both ways. She tells him that there is one caveat to her decision: if Adam were to be given a powerful role in this company again, he can count her out. Victor says Adam will remain at Newman, and he will be given an important position. He notes that he is sick and tired of the animosity between the three of them-- they are siblings. He is fed up with the conflict between them and promises to do everything in his power to solve it.

Nikki then tells Claire that she wants to finish a few things before changing out of her work clothes, after which they can leave.
As Claire walks out, she sends a text message instructing someone to get everything prepared. Later, when Claire and Nikki arrive at their destination, Claire notices a note from her aunt stating that she is at the doctor's office. The note suggests that Claire and Nikki have a cup of tea while they wait. Nikki sits down while Claire pours the tea. During the conversation, Nikki comments that the tea tastes different and asks what kind it is. She notes that Claire hasn't touched her own cup of tea. Claire reveals that she is not a fan of tea and isn't sure what kind it is. Suddenly, Nikki starts feeling dizzy and thinks that the flight has made her lightheaded. Claire offers her a glass of water, but Nikki explains that she really doesn't feel well. Claire watches as Nikki takes a tumble.
