The Young and the Restless Recap for Today, November 20, 2023:
What happened today on The Young and the Restless: Jack prepares to retaliate against Tucker, Jill and Nina worry about Chance, and Mamie is faced with a difficult decision.

Jill meets Chance and Nina at Crimson Lights. She checks to see if he is okay, and he tells her that he is. She expresses irritation at finding out that her grandson has been in the hospital after coming to town. Chance admits that he thought being Chief of Police would get him out of the line of fire more often, but clearly he was wrong. Jill is just happy his injury isn't worse. Nina walks over and says it seems like it was a much-needed wake-up call. Chance tries to stop his mother from going any further, but she tells Jill that Chance may consider quitting law enforcement. Chance suggests they all sit down, take a breath, and says he has not made any kind of decision yet but he has been considering the possibilities. Jill tells him that if he does decide to quit the GCPD, she has an idea - he should follow in the footsteps of his grandfather and dad and come work with her at Chancellor Winters. She will teach him the ropes of the business world. Nina thinks it is a brilliant idea. Chance says it is a big step and he has no experience. Jill thinks he would be good at it.
Jill receives a text from Devon requesting a meeting, prompting her to leave urgently. Before leaving, she implores Chance to consider her suggestion. After Jill departs, Nina advocates for Chance to explore the business world, suggesting it would be a good fit for him. Chance admits he has avoided the business life because he fears he won't measure up, but acknowledges it may be time to reconsider his position as a Chancellor and in the family business. He calls Jill, but gets her voicemail and leaves a message suggesting that they talk when they have the opportunity. Nina expresses gratitude for his willingness to take the first step, and playfully imagines him in a suit and tie every day. However, Chance clarifies that he has yet to make a decision and wants to see what his discussion with Jill reveals. Finally, Nina discloses that she plans to remain in town for a while longer.

Devon meets Tucker at GCAC and confronts him about his latest lies. Devon accuses Tucker of collusion with Mamie, but Tucker denies it. Devon asks Tucker what he really wants, and Tucker claims that he just wants to be closer to him. However, Devon doesn't believe him and warns him to keep his hands off Chancellor Winters. Devon is done with Tucker and walks out. On his way out, Devon runs into Ashley, who greets him with a kiss and asks if he is okay. Then, Ashley approaches Tucker and asks him what he has done now. Tucker says it's personal and private, but Ashley offers to listen to him and help him fix things. However, she tells him that he needs to stop being an ass.
Tucker confesses that Devon is upset because of the lies being spread about him. It was the final straw for Devon and he has now cut Tucker out of his life. Meanwhile, Ashley discovers that Tucker has been working with Mamie. In the spirit of family peace, Ashley offers to help repair Tucker's relationship with his son. Although she is doing it for her daughter, Devon, and her grandson, she genuinely wants to help. Tucker is suspicious and wonders what Ashley wants in return. However, she tells him she wants nothing and leaves.
Abby finds Devon upset at Society and asks him what's wrong. Devon reveals that Lily has found proof that Tucker is directly involved in Mamie's investment. He has decided to cut off his father for continuously lying to him. Abby tries to console him by saying that everyone deserves a loving father, but Devon is aware that Tucker has let him down too many times. Abby wonders if Tucker will back off now, but Devon is uncertain about his father's next move and worries about their relationship. Abby offers to talk to her mother to see if she knows anything that could help them. Devon decides to take action and contacts his family to stop Tucker, as he believes he knows how to accomplish that.

At the Abbott Mansion, Kyle meets Diane, who tells him that his dad is still upstairs, but she wanted to speak to him before he comes down. She asks if he has thought about what they talked about last night. Kyle says it would be difficult to persuade Audra to get back on board with the plan to take over Jabot. Diane advises him to tell his father when the time is right. Kyle agrees and Jack walks in, asking what they are discussing. Kyle eventually decides to accept Jack's offer to be COO of Jabot.

Ashley arrives and they inform her that Kyle is returning to Jabot. Ashley reveals that Tucker invested in Mamie's company, which shocks Jack. Ashley suggests that Mamie may feel Tucker could help her get rid of Jill. Ashley admits that she offered to help repair the relationship between Tucker and his son, which worries Jack.
Diane and Kyle agree with Ashley's plan, and Jack concedes. He receives a call and steps away, followed by Ashley. Diane tells Kyle that he will be the one to save Jabot from Tucker and will have hero status. Kyle texts Audra, telling her that he needs to talk to her.
Meanwhile, Ashley meets with Abby at Society and learns that Devon is done with Tucker after what he has done. Ashley wonders if Devon can look past this, but Abby doesn't think so as he is capable of making his own decisions.
Y&R Recap Today
Devon meets with Lily and Jill to discuss his confrontation with Tucker. Devon tells them that Tucker denied everything and he is convinced that his father has some kind of plan in the works. He urges them to be prepared for whatever attack is coming and to pull together to protect the company. Lily is glad that Devon is finally seeing Tucker for who he is. Devon reveals that he has an idea of how to figure out Tucker's plans and hopes they will be on board with it.
Mamie and Nate arrive, and Devon invites them to discuss something important. Mamie assumes they are ready to discuss Nate's return to the company, but Devon tells her that she needs to be honest about her plans with Tucker first. Mamie admits that Tucker made some investments in her company, and Jill suspects that they are colluding to exercise their mutual goals. Mamie clarifies that her ultimate goal has always been to unite the family under one corporate umbrella. Devon tells her that if that is the truth, they will give her an opportunity to prove it. He asks her to reveal Tucker's plan, and then they will allow Nate to return to the company.
Meanwhile, Tucker receives a text from Audra that Kyle is reaching out. Tucker advises her to reel him in.
