Y&R Recap November 3, 2023: Billy Is On to Kyle

The Young and the Restless Recap for Friday, November 3, 2023:

Today on The Young and the Restless, Victor plays hardball with Nate, Ashley makes a confession, and Billy gives Kyle a wakeup call.

Y&R Recap Today

Adam goes into Victor's office to invite him out for drinks and Victor happily accepts before telling Adam that they have to discuss how to best merge Kirsten Incorporated into Newman Media. Adam reminds him that Sharon took Kirsten back and Victor questions what they are talking about. Adam deflects before Nate walks in and asks if everything is ok. 

In the hall, Adam tells Nate what happened with Victor and tells him about the specialist that he talked to. Nate asks him if he talked to Nick and Victoria about it and Adam tells him that he has but they don't want him anywhere near it. As he gets on the elevator, Adam says that he can't worry about them, his sole focus has to be his father. After Adam leaves, Nate goes in to talk to Victor about what just happened.

Nate tells Victor about Adam talking to a specialist and Victor thinks that proves Adam is trying to have him removed as CEO. Nate doesn't think that is what's going on, but he is unable to convince Victor of that. He suggests that Victor should make a preemptive move and take a leave of absence with a cover story so he can get a proper diagnosis. 

Y&R Recap Today

Nick and Sally talk about her new company and how well it's going in the lobby of the GAC. She asks how Victor is doing and Nick asks what she means. Sally tells him that Adam told her that Victor was having some issues and she knew that must be hard for Nick to deal with. They go up to her room to talk and Nick thanks her, telling her that he doesn't want to talk about his father's condition in public. 

Nick asks Sally what Adam told her and she tells him. Nick says that they are trying to keep it quiet and that he wishes Adam had been more discreet. Sally points out that Nick told her as well and he says the difference is that he isn't looking for sympathy and Adam was. He quickly takes it back and then implies that Adam would take advantage of Victor's condition. Sally tells him that's not what is going on, but Nick doesn't believe her. 

Sally tells Nick that she suggested to Adam that he talk to Nick and Victoria and that the three of them work together, but Nick tells her that she has more faith in them than she should. He comments that it sounds like she and Adam must be in a closer place if they talked about something so personal and says that she must be taking his advice about figuring out her relationship with Adam. 

They go back downstairs and Sally promises to not say anything about Victor. Nick thanks her and then they run into Adam, who needs to speak to Nick. Sally leaves them alone to talk and Adam tells Nick about his plan with Victor and the doctor. Nick doesn't think it will work but reluctantly agrees to join Adam and Victor for drinks so he can watch what happens. 

Y&R Recap Today

Ashley sees Tucker at Society and sits down at the bar with him. He tells her that he has started annulment proceedings and that she'll be hearing from his attorney. Ashley is surprised but says that she shouldn't be. Tucker says that there is no need to wait and Ashley agrees. She hopes that they can be civil to each other and reminds him that they share a grandchild. Tucker tells her that he doesn't see them ever being friends after everything. 

Ashley asks if he wants her to beg him on her knees and he tells her that's ironic since she made him beg for months. He tells her that there is no point in her begging because he doesn't trust her motives. She asks him why she should bother trying and he tells her that she shouldn't because all she really wants to know is what he has planned for her and her family. She admits that she thinks he is out for vengeance and he says, "Maybe, or maybe I just like watching you squirm." 

Tucker reminds her that she and Jack did that to him when he first came back and Ashley tells him that he doesn't sound like the new and improved Tucker anymore. She asks if that man is gone for good and Tucker tells her that he left him in Paris with a broken heart. Ashley says that he terrified her in Paris because he didn't get what he wanted. He tells her that he is not going to justify himself to her anymore. Ashley wants him to admit that he is planning his revenge, but he refuses to tell her one way or another.

She asks if he hates her so much that he can't give her peace of mind. He refuses to give her a straight answer about his plans. She tells him that if he could honestly acknowledge that how he treated her in Paris was wrong then there could be a way back for them. Tucker shuts it down and tells her that there is no way back. They argue more and Tucker asks her if she ever loved him. She tells him that she did, with her whole heart and he compliments her on her acting job. 

She asks him if he ever loved her and he tells her that he doesn't trust her and never will again. She says he didn't answer her question about loving her which is her answer. Tucker congratulates her for finally pushing him away and then leaves. Ashley fights tears as she sits at the bar and Tucker breaks down emotionally outside the restaurant. 

Y&R Recap Today

Billy and Kyle go to the Abbott house to talk and Billy confronts him about going after his job. Kyle doesn't deny it and tells him that he thinks it is only a matter of time until Billy messes up and hurts the company. Billy tells him that's not going to happen and that he is in a good place and Jack trusts him. He accuses Kyle of putting his father in a bad spot and tells him that he's spoiled and entitled. Kyle backs down quickly and tells Billy that he's had a change of heart and is no longer going to go for his job.

Billy is suspicious, but Kyle says that what he said made sense and got through to him and he didn't want to hurt his father, so he is dropping it. Jack comes home and asks what's going on and Kyle fills him in. Jack is relieved and asks if Kyle is ready to accept the COO position and Jabot. Kyle turns him down again and tells him that he has a potential opportunity elsewhere that he can't talk about yet. Jack is disappointed but understands.

After Kyle leaves, Ashley comes home and tells them that she saw Tucker, but he doesn't trust her at all, so she couldn't get anything from him. Billy says that he thinks Tucker may have gotten to Kyle, but Jack doesn't believe it.

Y&R Recap Today

Tucker is having a drink in his room when there is a knock on the door. It's Kyle, who says that he got Tucker's text and came right over. Tucker tells him that it's time to prove his loyalty.
